Just bought a Manual N8. Loving it! It's not about how fast you can go, it's about the confidence it gives by being planted in the tightest corners and the amazing braking.
With turbo hatchbacks and manual getting extinct, we need more people to purchase these Because these help you get performance at a reasonable value for the amount of money manufacturers and Government demand Figo tdci was a legend, but Ford decided to quit Indian market, did not have a proper car premium hatchback segment and completely blamed consumers mindset And VW got greedy with Taigun/Kushaq, selling the same engine but at a way higher price tag So Kudos to Hyundai for keeping enthusiasts alive and we need more and more of these performance oriented products
I bought the manual n6 two weeks back. Its the best driving car at this price. The only miss is LED headlight and DRL and at 11.6 lakhs for a hatchback those things should have been given as standard
I prefer the projector LED setup to the full LED setup. And they could have also provided a rear headset for the N6 variant. But that 6-speed proper manual packs the punch for an otherwise well-equipped car!
Easily 80k discount every where. I got mine N6 dct for 12.00OTR chandigarh. N8 DCT is 13.25 OTR. It accelerator like crazy Latest is faster then pre facelift.
As someone who gobbled up the IMT version from the moment it was launched, after 15k kms and stage 1+ remap with tire upgrade. I can say that lack of transmission was not the Achilles heel of this otherwise exceptional package.
The automobile market has become completely uncertain after 2020, it's tough to choose among petrol, diesel, automatic, manual and ev. No one knows how govt policies will turn out. Hyundai brought this i20 manual after launching every kind of gearbox combination, maybe just to increase sales of the i20. The old performance based tuning of engines is almost lost. Roads have become so crowdy and dangerous that you need a well built car, prices of fuels have been raised too much so you also need good mileage. A car which is driver oriented and would be stressless for the next 12-15 years is tough to be chosen in the current scenario.
Hyundai needs to up their build quality and safety of their cars. They have been charged with 210 million USD recently un US and Canada... And they need to take safety of indian cars as well aggressively by building safer platforms which does not break into two during an impact... It is not about building perception in terms of visual appeal for customers, but really enforcing into the car architecture....
That is a proper i20N whereas what we get is i20nline which has only cosmetic upgrades compared to the previous i20 which had the turbo petrol in the normal i20 lineup. Now Hyundai has decided to drop the Tgdi power train from the normal i20 to make the nline more appealing.
@@d_techterminal bhai 20lakh approx hai aur price bilkul justified hai, uska suspension setup bilkul alag hai, aur ye hamari india ki i20 hot hatch ko 10saal purani volkswagen polo hara deti hai !
😂 Tbh, we all know, nobody cares about the mid range, its the initial that brings a smile on our face, germans are built different, I am still disappointed by a manual one too.
I think Hyundai messed up with the IMT. That gearbox should be given in the lower models and variants. People who are normal buyers who hate clutches. Not the performance buyers.
I think the C3 turbo could be a direct contender in terms of performance, though the power is 10hp less the torque is almost 20NM more and the weight is (just hold on something tight for the body roll😁)
Hyundai India needs to do one more thing install that 1.5L 4 cylinder turbo petrol engine on i20 N-line, give Indian petrolheads a Hot Hatchback before EV took all over India, only Hyundai india can make it possible a stiffer hatchback chassis and a powerful 1.5L turbo petrol engine with them
Boht late review kiya, should ve pointed out that hill start assist is there in the manual as well. Safety is a concern - i20 didn’t score well in the last crash test.
Good that hyundai is offering this product though in moderation. In India small cars are not made premium and with sporty engines. Very few of us know that even suzuki is not fair n sincere with Indian customers the product called it offers Suzuki swift with 1.2 ltr only. Where as in advanced nation swift comes with 1.5 ltr engine. At least these companies should give choice of its international products to Indians also. 2024 suzuki swift again has been downgraded in terms of power. Shame. Yess then only choice is left with Hyundai N line.
Driving is a pleasure with this car.. However safety with the build quality is a big deal breaker. It is interesting that how cheap these car makers think about indian lifes.. See the same car in global markets and they will provide them with heavy sheet metal..and the moment they bring the car in India they make it feather light..
Dear Hyundai, please just plonk the 1.5L turbo in this car and just take my money!
Just bought a Manual N8. Loving it!

How about the maximum comfortable cruising speed bro?
I own the N6 manual and boy oh boy i am so glad i picked this one up. Proper value for money pricing whilst being so fun to drive.
race it against tdci Figo 😂
Manual with a proper clutch??
With turbo hatchbacks and manual getting extinct, we need more people to purchase these

Mileage?
Booked the n8 manual, waiting for this beauty!
Does the manual have a turbo lag?
Imagine Verna N Line with 160 hp and manual transmission
You can make one! Add lowering springs, stage 1 tune, valvotronic exhust. That's it.
There is already the 1.5 Turbo Manual for now
POLO was the benchmark…. What a shame VW discontinued it….
Got my N8 MT delivered October 18th. Been enjoying the manual transmission. I love it.
We need the I20N in India, oh boy that thing has an astounding 200 HP and that'd be a real hot hatch with a good performance

Very sad that fun to drive hatchbacks are all gone.
I20 N line seems like an all rounder now. Is it worth considering N6 Manual over regular i20 Asta?
You are right, Normal i20 lags too much.
i own the pre facelift i20 n line n8 dct. best hatch in the market for sure and now with the manual...🔥🔥
Easily 80k discount every where. I got mine N6 dct for 12.00OTR chandigarh. N8 DCT is 13.25 OTR. It accelerator like crazy
Latest is faster then pre facelift.
4:53 @hyundaiindia U pls put the verna's 1.5 turbo petrol in the i20 n-line. 160 bhp in a hatchback would be intoxicating AF boi
❤❤❤ I wish it was launched 2 years back. Due to no manual N-line I had to choose a Maruti Suzuki 4 Cyl car
As someone who gobbled up the IMT version from the moment it was launched, after 15k kms and stage 1+ remap with tire upgrade. I can say that lack of transmission was not the Achilles heel of this otherwise exceptional package.
May I know which tire you upgraded to? I'm planning to upgrade to Yokohama BlueEarth-GT. Would love to know your opinion. Thanks!
Has the ecu tuning made the warranty void ?

Same engine or updated. Does this remain a normal i20 with a stiffer suspension, or is there more?
Which watch he is wearing?
Thanks for this i20 N manual review video. Was waiting for a long time. Also we would like to see the review for the Virtus GT manual!
Guess this is 2 years older in other countries yet new for us
When will i20N come to India?
As of now there are no plans from Hyundai.
Never lol. Because it probably will sell a maximum of 2 units per year.
Can you make a vide on the list of accessories and their availability which enhances the sporty look and especially to enhance the stock exhaust

In foreign countries 200hp i20 n line available and we are getting a manual transmission now !!
That's i20 N not N Line
Will you purchase that car for 20+ lakhs

Don't spread misinformation like a dumb kid .that is i20 N their n line version produces either 120 or 100 Hp
We can't afford an I20 more pricey than this! Fyi, no country has 200hp N "LINE" Thats just N
how did you setup the camera? what did you use?
So the Hyundai logo on the front is on the grill and not on the body as we seen on NA variants? I am confused!
Bro tell me one thing I am using i20 asta I founded regular i20 unpowered should I switch to i20 nline MANUAL
Is there any mileage difference between manual and dct ?
Definitely
You don’t count mileage while buying turbo petrol cars😅
this is super fun to drive little hot hatch 😌😍
Bhai yeh hot hatch ke naam pe mazak hai.. foreign countries me 200hp hai 0-100 in 6 seconds
@@rahulanand4629price bhi bata bhai. i20N itself is 200bhp

@@rahulanand4629 bhai gazab aadmi ho. Hot hatch ka matlab bas 0-100 timings nahi hota. N line handles better
how is venue n line manual transmission?
😂 Tbh, we all know, nobody cares about the mid range, its the initial that brings a smile on our face, germans are built different, I am still disappointed by a manual one too.
150bhp would be nicer but price would rise considerably..
aren't Projector Lens Headlights better than Led ??
It is built for fast driving, how is the built quality??
Aap log surat me kab aaye ???
I think Hyundai messed up with the IMT. That gearbox should be given in the lower models and variants. People who are normal buyers who hate clutches. Not the performance buyers.
Is there any auto rev matching
any updates on manual coming back to kia diesel cars? planning to buy a carens diesel soon
Citroën’s purerech turbo is 🔥🔥🔥
What about clutch response??
Nice video after a long time AutoCar❤🎉😊
I think the C3 turbo could be a direct contender in terms of performance, though the power is 10hp less the torque is almost 20NM more and the weight is (just hold on something tight for the body roll😁)
LET ME POINT A THING. IT WONT WIRELESS CHARGE IPHONE 14 AND UPWARDS since hyundai hasn’t updated its Qi charger.

Is there a turbo lag.i own i10 turbo and it has turbo lag and ton of body roll😅.
I'll surely buy this one🔥🔥🔥
Finally proper 3 pedal setup.
Can you do a drag of venue turbo manual and fronx turbo manual
They could have given the front ventilated seats.
Hot Hatch will be = N Line with 1.5 Turbo
last hyundai car that looks good
Those performance figures are actually not impressive, but I wouldn't expect any different because the engine is identical.
1.5 litre turbo hatchback is the sweet spot.
If only it came with a proper cylinder engine. And if I'm being optimistic, the 1.5 Turbo petrol found on the new Verna and Seltos.
Still citroen c3 turbo is unbeatable. It touches 100 under 10 sec
Can't be faster than c3 turbo or polo tsi, anyways looking forward for their drag races
Citroen C3 Turbo says hi! 👋
The last man standing
Turbo nahi hai?
much gears. so much changing. many fast. Wow.
Knock knock...who's their around the corner....Tata Altroz Racer Edition 🫡🥵😎
Seriously 😂😂....
that name doesn't suits the engine they have
Yep..
Yeaa altroz at the corner due to a breakdown 😂😊
😂😂 Lol with the same turbo petrol engine 🤮 from nexon and can't even hold the line at corners beyond 100kmph
Who has the patience of the waiting period that hyundai gives to its car's? 🤣
I20 has the least waiting period in Hyundai's lineup.
Yeah thanks to hyundai man, thats the one i need
well i was waiting for this
It deserves a 1.5tgdi from verna.
Tatta Fan boys coming from nowhere
Alloys ko thoda sporty hona thaa

Can’t match the Polo GT TSI by any means.
GJ 5!💪🔥
Hyundai 💕
I would have liked to see the new headlamps operate at night
should have given it the 1.5 turbo!
just add rwd & it becomes proper sports hatchback
N Line is in the power segment of an Abarth 😂
Pickup ksa h
My 2014 1.6 polo GT tdi could smoke these puny engines...too bad i had to sell it at 80k kms for 3 injector failures costing 75k.
If same front is giving to verna 😢
How can a 1 lt engine 3 cylinder be sporty???...all fake Nothing near to a fiat Punto Abarth with. 1.5 l engine...that's what is sporty
Nice
Never recommends a manual under city drives. Automatics are the future! ❤
I 20 wonder car edition.
Who are all waiting for i10N line in india ? 😁
Without a new more powerful engine its just LOL
Wired Android/Apple auto car play ?! Seriously Hyundai?!! For the top end model of i20 this is a lol feature!! 😅
Hello 👋
Tata byby 😂
3 cylinder we all know how good it is 😅
Still looks so strange and unpleasant
1.0 turbo 🤡nice joke..
Why Hyundai don't give US I20 varient
high price
go for tata altroz racer . its better safer
😂 3 cylinder shit
No. Better make a good refined engine first.
First make refined engine
0-100 in 10 plus… just a waste of money
New I20 is flop n disaster for Hyundai, v bad product saumil
why only 120hp🥲 for India
