I am going through that dilemma now. Open, Sell, or Keep It Sealed? I bought a box back in April...was supposed to open it in June for my channel, but life got in the way, and then the price exploded! The market for these are nuts!
I wasn't getting any traffic on my website so I delisted everything and put it on tcgplayer. I still have some stuff, what were you looking for? I can put it back up if I still have it.
@@joshsmith6955 lol and? There was over 200k boxes of these printed lol what youre seeing is called market manipulation. Anybody who pays 400+ for one of these boxes is a fool. An extreme majority of these boxes that were made have not been opened.
@@joshsmith6955 side note, what idiots are buying serialized cards? Lol heres a history lesson. Sports cards started doing serialized cards…..right before a HUGE market crash. History tends to repeat itself
Here's a history lesson I'm over 60 I collected sports cards fully remember a big crash. But we're not just dealing with the card market with Lord of the rings we are dealing with the Lord of the rings fan base. That fanbase is a different beast all together. Honestly I hope you're right . Thing is I don't see those prices falling below 500 a box ever again. Facts are neither one of us know for sure and it's just my opinion. Not all sets crash not all sets lose their collection value. UN sets seem to rather quickly but again this isnt just another set. It's Lord of the rings. I'm guessing at some point you'll see prices like you see for vintage when it comes to lotr. You can tell me I'm wrong all day but you have no way of knowing if I'm wrong. Just like I have no way of knowing if you're right or wrong. Just my opinion. There's absolutely no way you would know how many boxes are opened. That is solely your opinion. You have no way of knowing if boxes were opened when they were bought. Unless we're looking at Rudy's collection
Nice video! Also, just bought a LOTR Special Edition Collector Booster box from your site. Hopefully it's still in stock. Thanks!
I was not expecting a lord of the rings video lol love it

I won't say the art isn't awesome. Such a large fan base though I doubt prices fall anytime soon
Dont be too sure about that, these boxes arent in short supply
It's been two weeks since my comment and it's only going up.
