At the current price of roughly $350 a box I can't bring myself to get a box even though I really want to. Like you said they need to figure out a way to reduce the price maybe cut down on the amount of packs and make them like mini booster boxes, I still want good value cards in the set, or maybe instead of a set of 900 or whatever was in Commander Masters reduce the pool of cards down a little bit.

does this still apply in today's time?

My mom got scammed getting booster boxes for me for Christmas. They were fake and Amazon only issued a partial refund of 50 USD out of the 120 USD spent despite the fact that the product was taken down from amazon for being fake before we asked for the refund, they had no reason to give a partial over a full refund and yet they refused even when we provided evidence of them being fake.

Im new to MTG, does anybody use the collector app? Why doesnt it show all the cards in this set?

I’m trying to learn and o could tell just by the stitching which one was fake! Phew! 😮‍💨

I am going through that dilemma now. Open, Sell, or Keep It Sealed? I bought a box back in April...was supposed to open it in June for my channel, but life got in the way, and then the price exploded! The market for these are nuts!

i opened 3 of them 3 months ago, bought one for 875. i also bought two in april bought them back then for 500

I love this set for the angels and i love the invasion mechanics. The Kasla precon itself is typically weak for a precon, and has a limiting factor with convoke outside of green, but theres tons of staples and great angel cards in that very affordable March of the Machine precon, too.

Yikes that was a terrible box, sorry man. Just sell them.

you sure have the guts to open those boxes when it is insanely expensive now and might still rise in value in the future. but hitting an alt art sylveon is a win already that make the box worth it

doctor who is my favorite set tbh, it was the one to finally get me into mtg. i’m still in the process of collecting every single foil, surge foil, and full art card. not even gonna attempt to collect one of each serialized 💀 i wish the prices for the collector boxes were still below $200, esp considering it’s not an in demand set. nice video tho, i always enjoy seeing people open these packs

The nice thing about Foundations is no need to rush on anything. Its gonna be around a long time, so you can really sit back, research what you want from the set before deciding on anything. With so much fomo-ing happening especially in MTG these days, this feels like a nice beat to take.
