    I have an industrial wood shop with a few employees so I’m pretty well versed in woodworking but I love watching your videos, always learning something new. Keep up the vids!

    Collin - off this subject. Would you happen to have a video on making a wooden mallet? If not, any chance you can add this to a video fairly soon? I'm just starting and NEED to make one. Can't find anyone on the YT platform that I can't seem to follow or don't interest me. You always seem to catch my attention and get me to understand your way of teaching.... in other words, you're a great instructor!
    Thank you in advance if you can take this request seriously by getting this out ASAP!!!! MUCH APPRECIATED.

    Being a weekend woodworker/woodturner for decades while working in the building trades as an inspector I sold such items every way I could bottom line never made enough money at it to even pay for my shop expenses, materials and tools but it was fun now were downsizing, selling out and moving so unfortunately everything is being wholesaled, tossed or burned, guess I should of had a youtube site instead.

    Great video as always. Now I have an unrelated question. What type of wood should I use for making a professional business name plate for entry on a office door or wall next to the door? I will be engraving it with a CNC machine.

      @duczman76 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      🤔 I am not him and also only a hobby wood craftsman but I personally would choose a type of wood that the cnc can process without any problems, which is readily available and affordable and still high quality.

    You were showing a couple of boxes in this video. Are those made from the spalted red alder you collected a year or so ago? Also, it looks like those might have been made with the inside-out resaw trick that gives you continuous grain all the way around the box. Have you done a video on that method? Or maybe I saw it somewhere else. As always, nice work and an entertaining video.

    I live out of my camper which I've been converting into a shop as I travel the country. I put a sign in my window advertising a few of the things I make. I'm eventually going to turn the paint job into a bunch of advertisements, so I can be "set up" basically everywhere I'm stopped. I make enough money to survive just off of playing music, but for me that's working and making stuff in my shop is play. I'd like if they both made me the same amount.

    So big items sell locally, and small items sell all over because you can ship!! Got it!! Seems like 5 grade info, this a real video???

  • @contessa.adella

    3:37 Does that say A hundred and fifty bucks!!!…for a simple box shape planter? Really? And they sell at that price? Around here you’d be lucky to sell them at 50 from a garden centre…and people look to pay less if it is not in a posh store! I like their low table tho’
