Cool Video. That concept of building and finding a market has a phrase, it's "Build it and they will come" That philosophy is generally considered a gamble of sorts.
@1:43, this is a dumb point, you mention renting a 10x10 storage unit. In many parts of the country, this is a $1,000/year expense. So now your $2,000 in revenue is down to $1,000. You are also paying for transportation back and forth to the venues, lets say $50 per rental. It eats through your bottom line rapidly. Any wedding venue with good sense would just buy their own and manage the rentals directly. It is obvious you did not go to business school, or live in an area with poor economic development.
As a 20 year insurance veteran, I 100% second that you need to be extra careful with insurance if making kids toys. In fact, you may have to go to special insurance companies if making kids toys... So build the extra expense into your business plan.
Microbreweries, restaurants… Sandblast their name & logo into the clipboard. Also it can be laser etched. I did a memorial marker for a cat. It provides a deeper etch into the granite.

I'd never get a stove top cover. One thing people never think about is where you're going to park that monstrosity when you're using the stove. Also, over time it will start to look pretty tough - jammed in the space between the stove and the cabinet (maybe, if it fits), around a lot of cooking that involves grease and other spatters, around hot surfaces.
Stove top covers are not for the average person there buddy. Those are decorations for women who married into money. They have zero concern about where it will be placed while cooking because they are not going to be doing any damn cooking. Same thing with the women that have those crazy nice very white cabinets in their kitchens. You know how they keep them clean? They dont use their kitchen. Their kitchen is a vanity project to make their less well off friends jealous. Ever notice how when these women get these things put in their homes the very first thing they do is plan some event to take place at their home? Its just an excuse to invite their females friends over and show off their vanity projects. Practicality means nothing to them because they do not intend to ever use it. These women would rather die than cook a meal for a family.
Bro, this is phenomenal stuff. Thank you so much for your willingness to give out some serious knowledge! I learned a ton and will definitely move into doing some of these things you named for my small woodworking business!
Great video thanks for sharing your insight! You touched on the importance of liability insurance for the kids item but also important to have for the stove top covers. Even though it would be a user issue if someone put it on/over hot burners or turned on while the cover was one, the lawyers these days will take a shot at the maker of the cover. My wife is in the legal field and this is one of the reasons I have stayed away from doing these...I want to, she is skeptical. Thanks again!
Excellent video! I'm definitely a subscriber. Just ran across in recommendation, and so glad I did! I agree about the oven covers! Huge possibilities! 🎉
Awesome video brother! This is what I've been looking for. It's not just what can I make but how can I scale this? I love the future business minded thinking! Keep up the great videos!
You mentioned you are entering into the stove top covers. Don't you think this is already a saturated market? There are tons of competitors out there from what I have seen.
Great work, your videos are always inspiring. Thank you for sharing your ideas. Best of luck from France. NB for your information : The Montessori method comes from an Italian doctor, Maria Montessori (in 1870) she was a specialised in psychology, psychiatry and pedagogy ( the art of teaching kids) inspired by 2 French Doctors Jean Itard and Edouard Seguin she created a new way of teaching and learning from “handicapped children “ and “ normal children “ fascinating women.

@@stevevaughn2040 ... Yes, it is true, but it is not a system imposed on teachers. It is for those who believe in it and want to use it in schools.
We have a school in our town in the UK that uses that. Its just a money grab to fleece the UK education system and send the money to the US

Hmm but how honestly
What about coasters? JUST KIDDING! I subscribed to your channel simply because of your sense of humor! I'm looking forward to more great content!
Welcome aboard!
Excellent video! I'm definitely a subscriber. Just ran across in recommendation, and so glad I did! I agree about the oven covers! Huge possibilities! 🎉
Awesome! Thank you!
So no lead paint on Montessori products?
thanks
How big of a CNC machine should I start with?
Thank you
I just started a coaster making business
God i wish i was handy enough to do this
Stove top covers - $12 at IKEA, all the large manufacturers are into them. I like the idea of making large letters though.
Why does your face and facial expressions remind me of Hopsins? 😂
Great video dude!
It does! Haha
Awesome video brother! This is what I've been looking for. It's not just what can I make but how can I scale this? I love the future business minded thinking! Keep up the great videos!
Glad you liked it!
Nice
You mentioned you are entering into the stove top covers. Don't you think this is already a saturated market? There are tons of competitors out there from what I have seen.
“ Six figures a year no problem “ This guy must be rolling in it .
What would happen if the customer place that stove cover over hot plates or the cover was left on and someone turn on the hot plates.
The "large letters" idea is "silly". You need a large storage area. You need multiple of each letter. You would need multiple styles
Great work, your videos are always inspiring. Thank you for sharing your ideas.
Best of luck from France.
NB for your information :
The Montessori method comes from an Italian doctor, Maria Montessori (in 1870) she was a specialised in psychology, psychiatry
and pedagogy ( the art of teaching kids) inspired by 2 French Doctors Jean Itard and Edouard Seguin she created a new way of teaching and learning from
“handicapped children “ and “ normal children “ fascinating women.
