Another great video. I so look forward to your videos. About 15 years ago I did a post remodeling cleaning to a $1.2 million dollar house here in Coastal Georgia. I watched a decorator place two stumps about 30" tall and 16" wide, on each side of the very expensive down filled sofa. These like PB's had the bark remove, had been sanded, painted gold and epoxied. They were being used as end tables. Curiosity got me and I asked the decorator what the end tables cost. She told me her discounted price was $1100. Naturally, I looked at her like she was nuts and said "$1100 for two stumps?" She came back wirh a chuckle and said "No, $1100 a piece." I almost fell over when she said that. 😂

Mathew, concerning the green, 3d pumpkin item, you asked what someone would call the "slats". then you asked for suggestions on a better term. My suggestion is "ribs". By the way, LOVE you videos. I am 63 and looking forward to retirement later this decade. I hope to spending my retirement days building smalls and also the larger items from your videos. You are an inspiration for me and many others. Thanks so much for being the bright part of my days!

To get a fast, random paint pattern make a messy stack of the pickets and spray them. Shift them around, spray a different color.

A great way to distress and weather wood quickly is to mix up some water and baking soda in a spray bottle and just start spraying the wood. Let the baking soda mixture sit for a while and in no time you'll have wood that looks gray and dingy.

I used fence pickets for the first pumpkins in the past. I cut the picket in half on 1 board and keep 1 board hole then assembled. The only difference is the bottom isn't dogeared but, as you know, that can be achieved! Thanks for the awesome videos, Matthew! I own a small B&M and have 25 local vendors that make and sell in my shop. Some of us watch your videos and decide who's making what to sell.
