Much appreciated my friend thanks for this vid show part number I did put some pieces I found in my basket but was sure on the rest so now I know and it will cost £80 for me to buy all parts 😁👌🏾

Very useful information. I subbed! You rock! Thank you for this video, can't wait to see the unlimited finished product! I may have to buy the limitless when it's available! 😁
Way late to the comments, but i plan to turn my tlr typhon into a speed run car, you said this would work, so i was wondering if i should just buy a roller limitless v2 and strip it or buy parts separately, seems cheaper to strip a v2.
So at what tooth count on the gearing would you stop any grass runs (spur and pinion)? Trying to build my Kraton for both bash and speed, but with swap outs... Granted with the hop-ups I got the center diff swap won't be as easy as the factory parts, but damn she looks good.... Any who, I want to run the spool as you have shown as it would be a "factory" parts replacement.
The Kraton was doing up to 65mph with the included speed pinion I forget what That was something like 50/16. That was the limits of the factory v4 tires. They were ballooning bad at that speed.
quick question, when you buy the arma limitless roller, is the centre spur gear a spool gear or an actual differential? because on arma's website for an exploded view of the limitless's parts it shows a spool centre gear. but you just said 0:51 that you got a hot racing spool setup to replace the original centre differential. so im confused does the limitless come with a centre differential or is it a spool like the website states? (stock)
The Limitless roller comes with a spool with 34t spur gear. The HR setup I was using on a Kraton 6s, which comes with a center differential. When I had posted this video the Limitless was not actually out in stores yet. I had bought the spool parts individually to compose this video...
It is considerably cheaper to buy the complete unit from a kit breaker like Jennys RC. Otherwise pull up Arrma-RC.com and get the diagram for the limitless for part numbers.
If you will be doing off road then don't use a spool. This would be for speed runs only. Check eBay for a limitless spool. It will drop straight in the Kraton 6s
Andrew White I don't drag race so my experience is limited there, but the gear ratio of the Infraction's 46t spur would be better than the Limitless 34t spur
Liberty Francis, I’ve heard of people going that thick for the center differential. Even heard of people using the squishy silicon earbuds. But I’m referring to the front and rear differentials. Are you implying that you would use 500 K in the front and rear?
@@daasguy99 it is 22mm from bearing to bearing, measuring inside edge to inside edge. This should match very closely a measurement of front mount to back mount inside face to inside face.
Very helpful video ! I will do the same 💪😎
Glad it helps. There are a few aftermarket options now also like flo pack and some others that sell on eBay

If you are not in a rush the people on eBay "breakers" will probably sell them in about 6 months as a complete assembly.

29t pinion and 34t spur will do 94mph with the stock BLX system. (Just did it last week). Can only do 1-2 passes before needing a cool down break!

Very nice video! Can you tell me how long it is from bearing end to bearing end? That would be awesome!

Very informative video. Thanks so much. One question, will this work on a typhon?
Jason Stephens yessir will work on any of the 6s models.

I would grab a spool. RamJam might be a good option. Then get the limitless shocks and towers and swap them on your Typhon.

I got these before the cars were available. I don't have any good sources beyond what you can Google. Hope you can find em soon!
@@Liberty.Francis ok Lib not in a big hury was gonna make one for my kraton thanks for the quick response....
Hi liberty i use 5mm spur the shaft is compatible for arrma infraction yes o no thank you apreciate.
The spool uses 8mm pinions. This will fit any 6s Arrma (infraction, limitless, Typhon, Talion, Kraton, outcast, senton, Mojave etc...)
Should you lock tite all the screws?
Yes and red loctite. They are very prone to coming lose
Question will the arrama spool fits an associate buggy
I have no idea... sorry man
Good job brother 👌 👌 thanks for sharing 👍 👍 👍 👍
who is better for speedruns castle XLX or XL2 ? Thank You Very Much
I have never used an XL-2
They have been discontinued for quite some time...

None :)
For drag racing which differentials do you want to have a locking spool in on the infraction or limitless?

@@Liberty.Francis how if you wanna go less teeth on spur and more on pinion for more torque
Did you have slop in the spool after you built it? Some slop in mine once i built it. Does the slop go away once installing into the mount
Yeah the spacers do not provide a tight fit. You can use shims, but it does not seem to matter.
The spool you used for high speed o drag racing

what is the recommend diff fluid thickness one should run in the front and rear for the limitless rocking this spool?
People have different preferences on that... 500k, 1 million, etc.

Won't this work on the kraton 8s?
no just the 6s line
The spur gear will act as a pinion on the kraton 8s with its 8mm bore if that is what you are referencing.
Great information like # 20
Help me. I need to know if this can work for vorza.
I really have no idea. Do you have calipers to measure the vorza center diff dimensions? We could see if it is the same size, but chances are slim.
Liberty Francis well the diff length for vorza are 2.7inches right about that size. Can you tell me how king is the spool for arrma
