- get keyboard and mouse - rebind all mouse buttons to keyboard - rebind a and d to "turn camera left/right" meaning you'd have no way to walk to the side or turn your camera vertically (aside from lock on) - play with keyboard only that way you can't even control the speed of your turns
@marcymarblez they are both in the video, and darklurker isn't worth it lmao. I don't really consider it as a skip, when its a covenant thing. Both flexile and the vanguard are in the video, watch it again
Thank controlls are not "no horizontal movement" It is when the movement is based on the character's rotation instead of the camera. So when you press 'W' (or forward in left joystick) you move in the direction the character is facing.
@@YourAverageSpelunker No it does not Lets say you move backwards. The character is now facing the camera. If you move forwards, what should happen is that the character moves towards the camera. However, what happens in your game is that the character turns around and starts moving away from the camera.
that has never been what tank controls is. tank controls is when you can only more "vertically", aka forward and backward. moving side to side is more like turning that way rather than not moving, but its a good approximation. do your research before being confidently wrong.
i thought it's gonna be like in old games when you try to go right/left character would rotate but i guess this works too
Eh i def could not set that up, lol
@@YourAverageSpelunkermaybe with mods on pc it could be done like that but good video anyway
@@Narq_gg we'll see, magbe one day. Thanks though!
soooo playing Dark Souls like it's King's Field?
ACTUALLY TRUE, you're so real for that
This is an interesting concept I haven't seen. Take my like
Would love to see a run where 1 guy Controls the movements while another guy Controls the attacks and etc
I would love to do that, hate to coordinate it. Maybe one day
Lil Aggy has a run like this, check it out. It's on yt
Beat the dark souls trilogi with inverted controlls.
Watch this video but take a drink everytime spelunker says “and”. You’re in for a good time 😎
and is LITERALLY the 5th most common word in english. "take a drink everytime a word has the letter e!!!!"
i love when 7:54 happened

@@YourAverageSpelunkerbut u said u could only skip one boss per game? wheres the rat boss as well or the flexile sentry?

yes, and turning off horizontal movement accomplishes this. thank you for confirming.
