Great information, thanks for posting this video.
Glad it was helpful!
Just what i needed to know. Thanks
Glad to help
Did they sprout? Do we have some news? 😊
Hey for the acidic soil instead of heat moss could I just use lemon water in moderation instead?
Great straight to the point. Appreciate your tips and fluent video. Do you sell the seeds?
I think there sold on Amazon. Cheers.
What supplier from Amazon ?? Ty
I had a question about the sterile mix. Will it remain sterile if you store it, or are there special considerations when storing? Thanks for the great video.
Yes it will
My hydrangea seeds are huge size of a pumpkin seed I'm bit concerned now lol I didn't realise I had to stratify them,I brought them from a reputable seller.
Video a bit too long but very informative and great education!! Thanks for sharing!
Glad it was helpful!
Does this work on Amy Lind of hydrangea?
Any kind
I’m in zone 8b. I followed your video step by step. Can the germination trays be placed outside in the sunlight? If not, where is the best place to put them? I do not have a heat mat.
hot water heater closet
i put a themometer in my room its only 85° high 69° outside at night
3 weeks later and I’ve had a few sprouts, but they dampened off. What am I doing wrong? I have them in a sunny window around 73 degrees.
Would these be a candidate for winter sowing outside? I live in the northeast and purchased climbing hydrangea seeds. It looks like many of your steps replicate winter sowing. Just curious...Thanks so much!...Paul
Yes, absolutely
I winter sowed oakleaf hydrangeas and it worked out so well! (They're in my videos, if you're curious--sorry my tours are a bit long). My one suggestion would be to NOT cover them with any soil as the poster did in this video. They should just be surface sown and misted to get good contact with the soil.
Just picked my seeds from the plant What if i just plant them in the soil now what would happen First time picking seeds
Hello , so I have a question or two..
I have these seeds and that tray .
It’s now spring in New Hampshire zone 4 .. last frost date is may 22 I think
Do I plant the seeds as u did put them in the fridge till end of may ?
Now I live unfortunately in a camper and I do have a heat mat but no basement.
I can put the seeds in a closet but I can’t put the mat in there with it .
The heating mat is in my room under a lamp for other plants ..
What is it that I shall do for all these situations? Thank u
I think the seeds can benefit from a light frost. Happy gardening
@@ZenGardenOasis. what u mean ?
@@ZenGardenOasis. how should I do all of this
Put them I. The fridge or
It’s raining here and I have a coupe of weeks more before planting in ground
@@ZenGardenOasis. so here what’s I am thinking
Skip the closet
I am just gonna stick in the fridge until may 23
And then I am gonna start growing the seeds on a mat
@@ZenGardenOasis. does this make sense
I’m confused you used none of items I’ve been told to use . Also your seeds are bigger ! I’ve got these really tiny seeds from some company online .. I’m about to put them
In my seed box but been told to use coir, perlite and vermiculite!
The seeds are so
Tiny I really don’t know how I’m
Supposed to pick em up !! 😮
Tweezers
Winter sow them!
