Growing from stems is so much easier. I just plonk cuttings in water and about 3 weeks later there is a decent amount of roots.

Why you coated Aloe Vera gel unnesseserily on the Tips of the leaves Bcoz you've already going to dip that in same substance for longtime. & Lastly what was that dark green substance you dropped couple of drops by like an ampule...?

What is the liquid you put the leaves in

The liquid the leaves are put in is a mixture of the aloe clippings, aloe 'sap/gel', water, & a few drops of some unknown green liquid. It would be nice to know what that was, to have been shown the label. Even if written in another language we might have been able to figure it out. My guess is it's aloe vera oil but who knows. The mixture sits for 30 minutes before the leaves go in. The leaves get more aloe sap on the end of the leaf. That same liquid is later used to water the rooted leaves after they're p in soil. I say it may be aloe vera oil because aloe is often used as a rooting agent. It definitely is in this case. I assume the abundance of aloe is what makes it all grow so fast. I saw another video in which bananas are used as the rooting agent to encourage root growth. Later a chopped up banana peel is mixed water & used to water the growing plant. Interesting stuff. Very informative. I have a lot of hydrangea leaves so I think I'll try it using some other rooting agent to see what happens.
