I still remember my first controller in SoC in the tunnels. Back when the first game came out and I was still a kid. Nothing scared me like this until a random chimera trio ate my ass in Call of Pripyat...
Just got into Stalker SoC a while ago, and the difficulty jump from SoC to Anomoly is MASSIVE for me, it may also be due to the fact that I am just used to SoC. These tutorials have really helped me get into and understand Anomoly! Thank you, this all warranted a subscription!
Welcome to Anomaly!! Yeah this mod is way off compared to the vanilla games and CoC. Wait until you try harder mods like AREA :P Thanks for the comment and the sub!
I have played STALKER for years. Learned some things regarding Anomaly I didn't know previously. Getting back into playing STALKER again and would love to find more people like yourself to watch. Great series!
this is my first time playing through Stalker ever. I love the game so far and your videos are making it a breeze to learn. Keep up the amazing work bro.
Dude, These are awesome! I just started this game last night and was having a hell of a time although I know there is fun here. I hope you continue to cause your right there is nothing else on youtube like these
Thank you for the comments and the kind words! Oh we're not done yet, still have a lot more to cover! Not only with tutorial aspects, but I plan to walkthrough the main story lines for you guys :) Welcome to Stalker, Rob!
my first youtube video was from stalker soc 14 years ago in glorious 360p and the reality enhancement mod, if you like eye strain take a look LOL. and i almost did post ... what about bolts in the second video. i have to say this mod is extremely well done and brings back some great memorys, im currently edging my way across the north of swamps completly undergeared attempting to get to the doc after just a few side quests but i may turn back and head to rostock and gear up a bit more.... hmm or start a fight with the millitary and bait them up to the villlage :P
It is kind of funny to see how much usefull stuff can be found by looting stashes/enemys´n stuff on the normal difficulty. I always played Anomaly on the hardest one. =P
damn so many things in this game that i didnt know.... been palying for a while and i genuinely didnt know about the holding F key... damn man. going to be staying here for a while and watching these love it
My pleasure dude! Don't worry, the more we progress, the less of a tutorial this will be and more of a playthrough. I intend to finish the Loner storyline in this series ;) Thanks for watching!
I'm loving your Stalker walkthrough. I haven't played it in a LONG time and when I jumped into Anomaly, I got hammered on pretty good. Thank you for the tips! Subscribed!
Welcome back to Stalker, Braden! And thank you for the sub :) I'm very happy to hear that these videos are helping so many people, including yourself! This only motivates me to keep creating more stuff. Thanks again for the comment and the sub.
Dude, I see you blowing up soon. Love the content. If you covered more hidden survival gems like this, I could see you getting picked up by the algorithm. Keep it up bro. Much love.
While you can stab zombies, pistol ammo is so abundant and inexpensive it's worth just popping them in the head with a pistol. Also the reason many bandits aren't there is the offline simulation is set to full so bandits roam. And Xenotech actually pays less than anyone else for upgrade kits.
Iam actually new to the Stalker franchise and i was struggling with how to get started, your guide helped me a lot, im looking forward to learning something new about the mechanics! And take your time, better well put together video then no video :d
@@filipnovotny786 Thanks! Yeah I prefer showing stuff little by little as I progress instead of an overdose of information. I myself retain information better this way, hence I learn a new game better when I watch playthroughs :)
You are really really helping me with this playthrough!! The only question i got is... What addons are you using ? cause you game looks more clear and colorful than mine :c
Thank you! I'm glad my videos are helping you :) I'm not using any addons at the moment. It might look like that due to some sharpening tweaks in OBS (what I use to record) and some edits to video rendering. But there are no addons at the moment. Just in case, check the Advanced Visual options I'm using in Episode #1 to see if it might be my graphics settings.
“This isn’t like Call of Duty”.... have you ever been to Radar my friend? Kappa Much love my dood, thanks for making these videos and I’ll be doing my best to get the word out about them for the new folks!
Great job, this series has helped so much in getttng started as i felt like i was overwhelmed with information and mechanics watching any other video. also, does it let you fast travel whilst you have a companion? like, could you have just fast travelled back to sid now you found the quest guy?
Hey! Thanks for the comment and for watching! Usually fast travel works if you have companions, however I prefer not to use it on rescue quests because they sometimes can get buggy. Rescue and escort quests are famous for getting scuffed sometimes lol. But if you have regular companions without it being a specific mission, it should work fine.
@@SixxsBunker no worries dude, earned a sub from me ;) & ahh yeahyeahh i get ya, i didnt wanna try it myself in case i fast travelled back to sid and the quest guy was still at the garbage, its not about pointless trekking ahahah
We all gotta start from scratch at some point! My main motivation for this was to help new people, as I wish these types of videos existed when I played Anomaly for the first time 3 years ago almost lol. Very happy to help! Thanks for watching :)
I like the way you think! lol I just worry sometimes that there's too much roaming around instead of actually doing stuff :P But yeah, the main focus is showing the game and not constantly getting into gunfights.
Can you tell me what the icons next to the minimap mean? on the right? Like it turns red when enemies come on the screen and under that it turns gray when I make noise?
As advanced as Anomaly is, it's funny the person responsible for the models fucked up the Makarov. The safety selector is in the safe position yet the hammer is back and you're able to fire. I know most people don't notice/know better/care but it is distracting for me.
The easiest way is to hover your crosshair on top of them. If it turns red, then they're an enemy. However, you should get used to trying to distinguish them from a distance by spotting their uniforms or any faction patches they have on ;)
I still remember my first controller in SoC in the tunnels. Back when the first game came out and I was still a kid. Nothing scared me like this until a random chimera trio ate my ass in Call of Pripyat...
Do you mean the controller in the Agroprom underground? Dude that made me jump out of my seat... literally haha
Oh yea, memories. Snorks are another type of scary mutants, jumping at your face like headcrabs.
Just subscribed. Dude, please continue. This channel is something I need in my stalker life.
Thank you so much for the support! Don't worry, more STALKER content, and other games as well, is on its way :)

4:12 thank you! Never found that explained anywhere else.
Glad to be of service :)
Without your videos I would be so lost in the game. Please keep the videos coming. They're great to watch!

Yeah some people have told me that... I think it might be the graphical settings I have and a bit of OBS processing.

Enjoy!
Awesome videos! Would love to see an updated tutorial series for Anomaly GAMMA :)
Thanks! Trying to get into GAMMA but I may need to be more patient with it lol.
Great starter guide for new stalkers!
Glad it's helping out :)
Just found you! More please I’m a total noob

Very glad to hear that! Thank you! :)

Excellent playthrough sir. When I first played Stalker years ago, I was scared shitless. Sorry.....
Thank you! :) Yeah Stalker can do that sometimes haha
Are you going to cover weapon repair and maintenance in a video as well? I don't like throwing away guns XD

LOL

It could be it's the animation pack I'm using. I think vanilla Anomaly doesn't have that... or does it? Idk, i never noticed :P
@@SixxsBunker It's vanilla because it's in my game as well.
seen you accidentally walk into like 1 anomaly in 3 vid's, i walk into one like every 20 feet fml.
Trust me, that still happens to me sometimes... especially up north :P
How do you go prone? Cant find it in my settings
You have to press the Crouch and Walk buttons at the same time.
Are you using any mods besides Anomaly itself in this playthrough?
I started using mods after Episode 6 or 7 I think. The first few do not have mods.
Can stashes repopulate with loot some time after you loot them?
I believe they do but it takes like 3 or more in-game days.
Noice :)
Do stashes respawn loot?
Hey dude, how to know who's an enemy?
The easiest way is to hover your crosshair on top of them. If it turns red, then they're an enemy. However, you should get used to trying to distinguish them from a distance by spotting their uniforms or any faction patches they have on ;)
