I’m fairly sure most of the tires are a general size. If I remember correctly, some of the on road guys tried to put these tires on their race kits for other wheel options, But they aren’t made for that...so I wouldn’t recommend. You COULD glue them once you get the offset. But I just used a touch of electrical tape since it’s a clearance fit. Nothing ever moved. Even if I slammed into something,.
I hv just damaged 2 sets of Watanabe wheelsets before I watched your video. I m new to rc car. Seems I hv damaged many items as I learn to modify and hv no knowledge of electronics. It is quite a technical hobby indeed requires mechatronics knowledges
A lot of video's online to help for sure. I watch hours of video's before trying something that's hard. And I make sure I watch other people make the mistakes that I'm about to make.
man I had trouble mounting the tires. for my sprint two, I used the hpi tdrifts. I boiled the tires and heated them up with the hair dryer and froze the rims. my first three tires got in fine. the last one I had to glue it one, since my fingers were. damaged from all the tugging, to put the tires in. Lol I seen that there's a tire changer for dirt tires. may have to try that one out. next time I change tires.
+powcar91 There is a few different versions of those tyre changers. You dont need them though. A mate and I use the hot water method and works perfectly fine.
how long do you put the tired in the boiling water for
Just a few minutes. It's plastic, it will expand pretty quick.
Been using this technique for a while. I usually slap them in the freezer afterwards.
Awesome tip man, thanks
I hope it helps you
@@scalefreakgaming yah, worked a treat for getting them on 👍
very nice tip man gona have to get me some mst those look sharp
Nice 👍🏻 job good sharing tqvm
Thank you for watching
That sticky foam strip dose that go on the back wheels
Just use an mst tire install & removal kit, avoid the hassle.
Can you put road tires in this drift rim??
And when you choose the offset you want you have to glue it in the position you choose???

Do the wheel face hold up to the barrel without gluing them when you drift these? or do you glue them after commiting to the offset?
I put small piece of electrical tape in them and it held
Awesome!
Nice
I gave up on takeing them off so I cut them off
By that point, why not, right?
How do you demount the tiers I'm a noob at drifting
They are just slipped on and helped with a thin layer of foam, so just get some pressure on the inside of the ring and press them off
muito bom
