My grandpa, who has been in the cow business, bailing hay for over 50 years, always says,”I wish I could get paid to lie like that!”, talking about the weather man.
I'm on the verge of buying a used of that model: Is yours a 540 or 1000 RPM model? The one I'm looking at has swivel drive but hooks to 3PH arms like others I've seen, but yours attaches to drawbar?
Did you change all the oils in the grearboxes and in the cutter bar.... seen in my manual that is yearly maintenance as well as did you set your roll gap on your conditioners? I got mine the rolls were too far apart to do much crimping could crank the tent ion up and still didn’t do much good rolls had a 1/4 gap between them!
I have a love hate relationship with that type of hitch I got to use one last year custom chopping corn and it’s a bear to put it on heavy heavy but once I got it installed it is amazing lol you hate it then you love it
Ben have watched all maintenance videos on the hay equipment you my friend have some very nice equipment if someone told me what they had you would trade it in also.
You can run those knives until they are wore two half that size just take a grinder and touch them up they need to be sharp for grass Alfalfa Cuts pretty easy.
You have a beautiful farm! Keep up the good work!!
Good video Ben mower looking well at least you got rain were crying out for it
Ughhhh!! I guess your right. Thanks James!
Knocking down hay, I miss doing that every year, the mowing and raking was fun its just bailing it on wagons that sucked lol
Haaa! Been there!
Another thing. They make perfect 90 degree right turns
Dewalt grease gun with locknlube end. We have two of them. I use mine every day seems like in the summer
Yeah, they are pretty damn nice! I have yet to pick up a lock-n-lube tip, but see doing so very soon!👍
In my 1411 manual it says you can run them fully swung in say for moving around obstacles

Checked oil levels....looked brand new to me & leaving it alone. Roll gap is perfect & tensioner works as intended.
i skipped changing the oil in mine this year so far as well... just curious if i was the only one
Nice unit. I been looking at them, hard to find one with steel rollers.
Really??? Highly suggest a demo! That's one thing I'm not afraid of doing!
Lucky you guys got rain we need rain very badly
Very true. How you doing TNT??!!!!👍
Veeser Cattle Co. I’m doing pretty good we just sent some steers to JBS and we built a new barn. How are you doing?

Agreed! Had a hard time getting used to it, but love it!

Thank you kindly Roger!👍
I really like my H7220, but wish I would have went with the H7230 with that drawbar swivel.
Regardless.....great discbines!!👍
Agreed!

Rocks and discbines=broken back window
Yep! Had one last year & surprised I still have that back window!
All that rain will probably sprout some of your uncovered sorghum seed.
Washed a lot of it away!👎👎
I'm not a fan of how stinking heavy that pto is to hook up to the tractor
Haaa! I will agree she is a bit of a beast!👍
