New Holland uses A Segmented cutter bar and the power is transmitted down the length of the bar from one segment to the next. And has to change from horizontal to vertical power transmission and back to horizontal..... using bevel gears and splined shafts... We use Krone Easy-Cut 320s......With Shear-pin protected Safety cut hubs.

I have the 8 disc 1411, such a terrible design, can't imagine a engineer thought it was a good design. never a new holland in my life!!!
