Had something similar to this happened on our Vermeer TM 1400 last summer, hit a rock that knocked one of the teeth off and progressively got worse in a hurry.

Hey you all I'm looking for advice. I have a vermeer mc3700 rotary swather/mower and I have a problem with the build up like on this one only it turns rock hard and starts getting into the pins that hold the blades on wearing out the head of the pin in 2 hours of use. Any suggestions

Try to clean it after using while grass junk is still wet. We try to power wash it out after each use....but that rarely happens!

@@cowcamp87 it builds up enough that in 45 minutes of use it gets into the pin head that holds in the blade and starts wearing it out
