Your renditions in general are always a joy to listen to, but these ones for tracks from video games simply blow me away. I truly appreciate it when you bring out several different instruments and combine them so harmoniously, brightens my day every time. Thank you for doing what you do
Beautiful!!
Absolutely beautiful! I'd been hoping for you to play this piece for a long time, and your arrangement is just wonderful. On behalf of WItcher fans everywhere, thank you Mr Estrem!
"Use your depressive feelings, boy. Let the feels flow through you" - Darth Sidious the sad - circa 2021. Memes aside this is another favorite of mine. As always, Thanks for the wonderful arrangement and performance!
I can now play “Baa Baa Black Sheep” on my diatonic dulcimer-style contrabass canjo and I am reading a lot about music theory, so I am many light years behind you but I am learning how to build and to play. Someday I hope to be as good as you are. Thank you for the help and mostly for the encouragement.
This game and its soundtrack - so many lovely memories. I guess no one has ever forgotten the first view out of the balcony in Kaer Morhen. And as for your covers, as usual great work :)
Such an unexpected video to encounter during these times... Your performance successfully takes me back to the time when I played Witcher 3. The sweet memory of youth ... Such an amazing game with emotional music.
Witcher 3 was released 6 years ago... "The sweet memory of youth" LOL, hope you'll find this comment again in 10 years or so for a laugh! Also just in case; Hi future Elang!
@@spielmitmir0 @ᅚ Yeah after I read my comment again, it's pretty laughable xD. But seriously though, looking back to the year when I first played Witcher 3 (2018) and compared it to present day, I've noticed a very big change from me as a person. So maybe that's why I chose the word "Youth", I'm 17 btw xD. But of course I'm totally looking forward to see you 10 years later man ! Ten years felt like a lot for me, since I haven't completely started my life to the big game yet. But hopefully, future me could handle it and conquer all his problems ! Best of luck, me. And see you 10 years later if we'd be fortunate enough to have the chance.
A beautiful arrangement and performance by Mr. Estrem. I highly recommend everyone to listen to all his amazing albums. They are a pure delight to the ears and heart. Thank you for your music, Maestro!
Good Afternoon Daniel, Well that was an interesting little number and one that I preferred over the other pieces taken from the current Witcher series you are covering. Possibly a more Oriental sound perhaps? I see the Descant recorder has come out of it's sleeve for this one. My introduction to music at School was using one of those. They used to be the "go-to" instrument in my schooldays and are an often much maligned instrument. I am not sure what happens in US Schools but over here in the UK of the 1960s that is what just about every schoolchild tortured their parents with! Oh what fun! I am sure we still have a Descant recorder kicking around indoors somewhere along with a Harmonica or two. I'll see if I can get Vera to see if she likes it. Keep Safe and Keep playing Clive
Thanks Clive, yes this is a soprano recorder I've had for decades. In grade school we were forced to play "tonettes" - a rather poor plastic substitute for a recorder.
This is absolutely beautiful! This is my favorite piece from this game, and you played it perfectly. Your rendition of this piece was amazing, and i love your addition of the bouzouki to this!
Amazing as always! Your skill and effort in making everything sound so good is greatly appreciated, thank you yet again for an amazing rendition! Please breed.
Looks like the gentleman on top is playing a mandolin. I have a mandolin that is very special to me because it had been my grandpa's, and I lost my grandparents (both) to a tornado when I was very young.
That’s amazing I love your playing. I’m learning the lute do you happen to have any tablature for toss a coin to your Witcher? If not I would gladly pay for one to be written
@@danbluedeer thank you sir I tried I haven’t been able to find any lute tabs or relevant chord charts but if you made a tutorial video I would gladly pay you for your time
Beautiful, a song as comforting as an old friend

Ah, nostalgia hits hard. It is that wailing mandola notes that sell it to me.
could be... it can hit those high notes

Carl - it's in the same musical family. Actually the mandola came first followed by mandolin
@@danbluedeer I didn't even read the description until now! My mistake!

your music was an excellent soundtrack for a video game. if this game is as great as your music
Thanks Kub - much appreciated
May I ask which wonderful instrument is doing that melody line? I don't believe I've heard it before (or at least, not sounding this good haha)
Thanks Reighn, the melody is taken by the mandola (in the upper box)

Erich - I haven't done that one, but I'm think if you search the web you can find tab (at various levels of difficulty for guitar.)

Is that a Greek bouzouki you're playing?
yes
@@danbluedeer they sound very different from Irish bouzoukis.
Better than the original
