hello,I suffer from same symptoms of leaking arc from the thickest wire of FBT.By the way what silicone or epoxy should I have to use to cover this leakage and How long it will last to stop leakage?

jeeeezuz lol that's scary. i think mine is doing something similar. i don't know if it's at the flyback's base or if it's at the tube's anode cap... i'm afraid to check -_- i might just have someone come out and do this for me. it's a giant 40" CRT SD, been wanting to do RGB mod on it... if I need to replace the flyback, might as well pay someone to RGB mod it while they are fixing the flyback.

nung bata ako nahahawakan ko yang tumatagas sa HV wire ng flyback. kulay violet yung lumalabas sa kanya.
