As much as I love seeing the gorgeous streamlined diesels ( my favorites being the PRR and Burlington E units, the Reading F Unit and the NKP Alco Pa). Norfolk and Western 611 stole the show in my opinion. I really wish I could have been there in person and hopefully some year I will and maybe I'll get to see the 611 running at some point. Thanks for the great video.
The locos I did not expect to like that much are the Pennsy and Erie E units, but they surprised me. The Erie colors are really attractive, and the understated elegance of Pennsy unit took me by surpise.
From what I’ve read it was originally a special anti-slip paint for when people had to work on the nose of UP streamliners, but now it’s just there for historical accuracy. I may be completely wrong though.
I was there too. mind checking my video out. its combined the two days I was in the museum area. Streamliners at Spencer Turntable Action Amtrak, Pennsylvanian Railroad, Lackawanna Railroad
It's like watching a locomotive beauty contest! But of all the chic ladies attending, the Burlington E5 is Sophia Loren. Cool, exotic, seductive. Just "Wow!"
Wow, what elegance, what beauty, those streamlined locomotives are gorgeous. Look at them. I have some F3A, F7A and FP7A in my ho scale collection.
Thank you! Hopefully something like this happens again in the near future.
Great job, I was there on Saturday, May 31 and there were so many people that you could not get decent shots. But what a great day. Awesome video!
Thanks! There were a lot of people on Thursday too and it was a great day.

Nice work! This is the best video I have seen so far of the streamliners event!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
There was never a more handsome diesel locomotive than the EMD E and F series
They are classics
Oh! I can't forget the beautiful steam locomotive number 611 and Amtrak's workhorse the F40PH.
Some cool vintage trains
611 the last stream liner steamer ;-;
SP 4449 is also a streamliner steamer.
Great video. Why does Union Pacific E9 949 have green paint on top of the nose
Thank you! Not really sure of the reason by that.

@@locoluke4149 The Green on the nose helps to reduce the sun glare on yellow paint. UP still does that on their Locos today!
I bet the up and Ns guys enjoyed it and yes the Erie and prr units are the prettiest
What a shame there was no C-Liners nor Sharks there, which are in existence. And lastly no Erie`s which are gone. Beautiful video.
Love the horn on train number 949
It definitely sounded great.
They seriously put a crossing bell on that CNW #411 at 10:36???
bkriegel95 Dude that's a Chicago and Northwestern trait. All the C&NW F units had a nose bell. Most of the other EMD units had nose bells as well.
bkriegel95 CNW was known to do that to they F units. The same as they SD-40-2 The bell would go on the front of the Locomotive
Question,! What kind of paint do they use on Therese units?, It would have to to be aircraft paint or is it simply basecoat /clear coat!
I see the SOO LINE 2500!! I've been aboard that one!!
