Love the idea but i think if you want to execute the borne plan you will need a much less midrangey dork heavy list. Say you do the thing, get a bunch of cards in your hand and cast borne, you will need rituals and mana positive rocks to keep going. I'd probably suggest a Sisay list that is something closer to Memo's Najeela list. Cheers!~
I don't know the mana base for Sissay. So I wonder if the 3 black pips feel like a burden if you draw Necrodominance instead of tutoring it with Sissay.
All in all, it just seems worse than Necropotence. You can only activate it during your end step, and your hand size is limited. This means you have to now play Vedalken Orrery in order to always have flash so you can avoid discarding to hand size OR play Reliquary Tower in a 5 color deck and have Tower come down after Necrodominance. Necropotence already had the downside of needing to be able to untap with your loaded hand unless you played Borne Upon a Wind, but with this you don't even have the option of loading your hand up and waiting for your next turn. There's too much downside here, but I could be missing something.
@@fruhlingsbilder EDH is built around Legendary creatures that you always have access to -> support for legendary creatures rises -> design broadens to support for legendary in general (eg: planeswalkers) -> this is also seen as safe because outside of EDH the legendary super-type is a power limiter -> power creep means jamming legendary cards is a better and thus more appetizing strategy -> WotC sees dollar signs and continues to feed red meat to the EDH format by slapping legendary on things that don't need it* *Watch them try to pull some flim-flam with Necrodominance, though: "Um, ak-shoo-ally, we made it legendary as a cute reference to the _legendary_ status of Necropotence." Apart from some Borne upon a wind shit I don't really get the point of a second necro... And the fact that it draws is pretty bad in the Orcish world that we live in, no?
Orchis bowmaster actully don't work vs this necro. The orc puts a lot of triggers on the stack and in respones you cast born and win ontop of all the triggers. But the orc will stop final fortune.
The first thing I noticed is that is says "If a card or token would be put into your graveyard from anywhere, exile it instead." But tokens normally exile themselves. Why would they put that text there unless that rule is changing and token can exist in zones outside the battlefield?
Tokens exile themselves AFTER going to graveyard. This means they still cause death triggers. Necrodominance cause the tokens to become exiled INSTEAD of going to graveyard, so no death triggers
@@thetangelo1375 I suppose so, I thought maybe because they are making tokens with mana cost in the "small animals go on adventures" they might be changing that. Why else would they give it mana cost?
If only there was a card that would be give everything flash. Then this would be pretty good. Probably not though since there isn’t a second copy of this to put into your deck.

Good lord I about shit myself when I saw that Maralen combo at the end.
Playing that would lose you friends at any table.
Im adding this to my Toluz Clever Conductor, also would Pontus bring her back? Not an easy Commander but i was impressed with his views.
Always love a good Sisay video!!
What exactly is your list digging for?
How do you win with that list if Emiel gets exiled? Oppo + Maralen and hoping to assemble a win with your opponents' cards?
Yeah that can win. It is quite rare to have emile getting exiled.
Question: how long do decks stay "current" in your database? Or, how old is the oldest deck you still consider in your stats?
I started last year. My plan is to have decks leave my data after they are 2 years old.
@@cedhtv Ah, that makes sense. Thanks Mons

Sometimes it will yes.
Sometimes it will. But Sisay is also the best mana fixing deck in the format.

You are. It is legendary! Sisay can find it! It will still do the same combo job as necro. win once in play.
I don't understand why they made it legendary. It's not like having 2 on the field would make it better. C'mon, wizards, why?
To make it fetchable by sissay 😅
Honestly good question! But I am still happy!
Because every product needs to have cross-pollination with EDH.

👍
So you’re saying Sisay is now the necrodommy mommy?
YES!
That's a fanmade card right? right?
Probably not
Feels like it. Quite strange to make necropotence into a legendary new version ...

There is a rule. Not sure what it is but if a token would hit the graveyard it does then ceases to exist

Sisay is long due for a ban; even the RC has grounds and precedence to act, considering how Golos went down for far less.
Wasting my time responding to this dumbass comment but...golos is colorless and unbelievably more versatile.
Sisay isnt seeing the amount of play golos did
Forget about that
Bruh what? Sisay only sees Cedh play while Golos was the go-to 5 color commander for any build.
golos got banned for casual not cedh stuff
this card is trash for cedh. I would never want to lower my hand size, and it shuts off breech
