I was looking towards the ford, as my partner wanted the ranger.. but thankfully we went with the colorado.. honestly couldn't be happier, plus we have the LT not the LTz, no chrome mirrors, no lane assist thats a big plus!!!
i can tell you about the Everest as I own one... # Storage is absolutely massive, and with all seats down (2nd and 3rd row that folds completelt flat), you can park a small car in there...😉😉 # Rear leg room : Leg room in 2nd row is best in its class, can easily accomodate a 6 footer comfortably. Leg room in 3rd is almost non existant, its strictly for kids only. And if the occupants of 2nd row can cut down on their luxury of leg space, then an adult can be accomodated but for shorter distances only, as the 2nd row can slide. # Suspension: It has good suspension, (may not be the best) glides over moderate potholes without breaking a sweat, it isnt too soft or too hard, has got the right balance..... and as its a BOF, the bumpiness will still be there. # Upgrade ability: Cant comment as I am not from Oz.
Not all of us are petrol heads. I am currently deciding between the two. Both appear to be capable cars. The review basically says, if your happy spending the money buy the Ford.
What an excellent review if you aren’t interested. That’s not off-road, it’s a road made without bitumen, off-road is where you drive the things through mud, bog holes and get wheels in the air.
Not a bad review but pretty simple. When I listen to reviews they should discuss some of the technical topics for discussion on the differences in the vehicles. I heard nothing in depth or detailed. Cheers
Haha the trailblazer isn’t quite up to what the Everest can do you say 😂 you drove on the road then went “off road” onto a dirt road. How can you say the TB isn’t up to what the Everest can do. I test drove both and decided on a TB and it’s been great, lifted with 33s and tows great. Friends have the Everest and also goes great they have also said the throttle response on the Holden is great they just liked the interior options with the Everest. These reviews are terrible.
I want my 4.49 back. What the hell was that? Why would any company lend your their cars so you can just waffle? I already knew that both of these cars existed. You've provided nothing.
I have driven both of these cars and the holden trailblazers motor and gearbox is far superior, has way more punch and its matched to the gearbox really well... the everest power was underwhelming, although the ride way a bit nicer... i think all things considered and for the $8.5k saving, trailblazer wins... if your spending everest money, might as well go get a toyota prado and will beat both of these.
@Mitch09 and you have driven hundreds of them no doubt! Mate I OWN one and my family drives in it day in and out- one of the best cars we have owned and guess what we have owned 27 cars from little Barina to land Rover Discovery!
Have just gone through the process of test driving most of the cars in this segment and went for the ford and im a holden guy (not selling the SS ). The Everest is a much nicer car to drive than the Trailblazer. The power is not underwhelming, its just that its smooth and quiet compared to the rest. It still gets up and goes well, just without all the noise and fuss. The Prado was the one we thought we were going to get till we drove the Everest. The Prado for me was a bit floaty/boaty and underpowered by comparision and the mid spec car comes with bugger all features compared to the mid spec Everest. So far very happy with our choice...
My sOFFt roader awd, can handle the roads used here … had an Everest, was overkill for my usage … really wasn’t much of a comparison review … spend more get the ford … hmm
What a total waste of time! If this old bloke is to scared to go OFF ROAD then get him to drive a becaus2wde it would go any where he went! Dirt road is not off road!
Well that was pretty inconclusive like most of his reviews

These reviews need a lot more detail. I want to see the storage space. Rear leg room. Tell me about the suspension. Upgrade ability.

Which one is easier to lift & put 35's on?

Dino's Shed lol I could have driven a commodore on that road!

Nailed it!
He went nowhere he couldn’t have gone in a Corolla.
Pointless.
Ford everest is the clear winner!

I feel like I've learnt nothing about either cars.

Driving on flat dirt roads shows nothin of there capabilities.waste of time
Same as a MUX
Well don't give up your day job!
Aerial views to long and vague descriptions of the vehicles.
He just rehashed some shit he read elsewhere.
You have got to get rid of this guy doing your reviews! Seriously who signs this shit off?!

Ford Australia is freaking outdated
Ford Australia is the best!
Ford not worth the extra 10K plus.
It is.... as a company they might suck big time, but the Everest is truly more than a capable machine
If you couldn't spend $10,000 on the Trailblazer and make it a more capable car than the Ford. You are not trying.
jim hackett should kick off this terible ford australia
Having recently purchased a Holden Trailblazer LTZ, I have been nothing but disappointed with my purchase. See my videos.
