When I was a teenager I only used water on my face. My skin was perfect. Then a friend made me feel self conscious saying I needed to use specific cleaners and toners. My skin never returned to perfect even many years later 😭.

I don't think it's because of the cleanser and the toners. Skin changes with time, hormones and other factors.

Great show. I wish you would have talked about “ tire dust”.
It’s a subject that’s hidden from the public as there is no immediate correction available.
Where does all the tire wear go from car tires as they wear down. Passenger car tires are made of plastics and not rubber. As they wear down microplastics are thrown into the air surrounding all our roads worldwide. It’s in our lungs, blood, food etc. it’s everywhere and highly toxic.
Please bring this subject up on your highly regarded channel. Thanks

I would have like to hear Dr Burkart's opinion of Glutathione supplements. Great video-I watched it all the way through (rare). She is a very knowledgeable and caring person. We need more like her to bring home the truth

I only use aluminimum-free deodorants and washable menstruational pads in the last couple of years. Most of my clothes are made of natural fabrics like cotton, linen, and wool; and I don't buy any plastic products if there is any other alternative.
If you can, please do the same things. I now capialism is telling us otherwise 24/7, but most of us have just enough clothes, shoes, etc for life. Your time and connections are more important than your posessions. Please stop buying useless sh*t.

Organic cotton. Since cotton isn't grown for consumption, its heavily sprayed

My sister wore foundation and other makeup every day for forty years and today she has the most beautiful skin she is 65 and has no wrinkles and looks forty. I think the foundation protected her skin from sun and weather etc but she always washed her makeup off every evening and each morning washed and moisturized skin before she put foundation on. She did this every day the foundation didn't hurt her skin

I have decided to vote with my dollars as much as I can, always looking for better and better when it’s time to get a new product I need. Not giving companies my money for products that poison me and make them rich is one of the main ways we will get change in this world. Staying educated and resolute is key. It can feel overwhelming, but that feeling does not last once you take action and get in the rhythm of things. One step at a time.

If you brush your lips with a toothbrush then it will get rid of chapped lips.
I learned that years ago - and I never ever use lip balm and never get dry lips ❤️

This information (almost word to word) has been told to me almost 13 years ago by a naturopath in Lithuania when I reached out to her for auto-immunal illness that conventional medics didn’t know how to explain or to treat. It’s such a shame that this information hasn’t been a public knowledge to the rest of population for such a long time 🥺

I am very much impressed with Dr. Burkart's knowledge but feel sad for all the women who, if they watched the video intently may be stressed out because it's almost impossible to avoid all the harmful stuff including the ones in the environment. We need to ask God for help and believe that FEAR IS NOT FROM GOD and that He is bigger than our problems.

I never used lip balm. I arrived back in the uk after a very long time, bought myself a lip balm stick… omg horrible! It dried my lips so badly! I got a shock. I m myself a groomy kind of person so I am not allergic to many products but lip balm never ever.

I'm a fan of the channel, thanks for the great content. This was not great content. It was a lot of leading questions, assumptions, and unsubstantiated statements. I'm know there are serious issues with cosmetics and dangerous toxins, but this interview had very little facts and proof. The repeated reference to fragrance in particular. It would have been very informative if there had been an explanation why fragrances need to be avoided. Hope this is constructive.

Aluminum functioning as an estrogen?! This is a terrible example of a toxicologist you brought on here. Perpetuating fear and misinformation on ingredients without providing hard factual evidence. If search her online she's obviously biased. Get a consensus of experts and not just one person selling courses or products on her page.

What gave me the most ick was everytime Steve asked her if anything was related/ caused cancer, she would immediately respond with a fat yes full of confidence. Hmm I’m a medical doctor and we don’t have so many answers/ confidence/ studies so we can make that type of assumptions right away. It smells like BS. In the begging of the episode I thought it was going to be worth it, but at a certain point I started to notice many red flags, in my opinion. I don’t know if you agree.

    • @MelanieWoodhouse-l2o

    • @mdml0
      @mdml0 หลายเดือนก่อน

@inesferreira7774 same. Anytime someone brings up "chemicals = cancer" in an argument, I always refer to the IARC monograph. You will find there a lot of natural and everyday substances (ie. hot beverages , alcoholic beverages, etc.) and exposures that have more direct correlation to cancer but nobody's making youtube videos about it because it's not clickbait. The headline "No. 1 toxicologist" and EXPOSES in all caps were huge red flags. I didn't know there was a ranking in these professions. Lol. Nobody is regulating these content creators and holding them to a professional standard.

Look up the studies on pubmed about aluminium being genotoxic (cancer causing). The science is there behind the marketing promoting these products.
