@@Alesiopdv of course, the pilot is the pilot, but the second season of Tennant for me contains the largest number of cringy moments, like "School reunion", the one with Abzorbaloff, "Fear her", that woman in TV shouting "I'm hungry!!"; when he snogs Pompadour in front of Rose watching him on the other side of the fireplace, and boasting about it to a servant with a vulgar move towards the fireplace's mantle. I don't feel and don't believe his acting sadness after he lost Rose. I can see the acting, it doesn't feel natural. And every time later when he suddenly remembers that he need to become sad when someone mentions Rose, it is acting, not real. Villains are so... typical villainish, with crazy laughter and stuff, and so stupid. Resembles old hero movies. Pathetic. I almost never rewatch this season. Brr...

I never quite bonded with Rose and 10 the same way everyone around me claimed they did - I loved them because it was my first experience with the show, but even at the age of five I liked her better with 9 (I think it was probably because I missed him so much). It all changed in a moment though when I witnessed the absolutely harrowing screams of Ten as Rose fell into the void. I wouldn't be here without this show and it's moments like that that show me just how important life is to live to the full. I find David's acting to be his best when he's utterly destroyed... and Doomsay certainly wasn't the last we'd see of that side of 10.

The Doctor is hardly visible, a ghostly looking abborition, and therefore untouchable; like he was dead even after he sharpened his image for Rose.
Perfectly executed as his hologram faded out before he could respond likewise to sobbing Rose; that he loved her. Back to the reality on the TARDIS and alone because of his sacrifice to save Rose. It ends with a tear streaking down his cheek. Masterfully written scene of the heartbreak of unrequited love.
