The Silence two parter shocked me. The series had never felt more cinematic.
Series 6 is vastly underrated. It was a very well-done series! It had a lot of twists and turns. The whole thing felt like a wild roller coaster ride

Underrated by the British Fandom maybe. But series 6 has been VERY popular and had a HUGE success in the World. It's not that underrated.
I think it's the best season long story in the show
A lot of twists and turns? It's a blatant mess that Moffat wrote himself into a corner like he always did.
I'll never get over how blatantly they put the whole "Amy and Rory are River's parents" thing in plain sight. River shooting all the Silence saying "I hope my old fella didn't see that" as Rory's looking in awe, River's saying it's her Birthday as Rory asks her to help save his daughter. They were just so clear about it yet you just didn't see it coming until the episode the revealed it in that you go back and just facepalm

As an American, I found that quite funny (and unfortunately well-justified).

I missed that line on my first viewing. Going back and rewatching the series on Prime, and I can't get enough of it, and this line pops me everytime.

Series 6 might be my favourite series in Doctor Who. The villains, The Doctor, River. All of it was perfect for me.

'The girl who waited' - one of the show's great masterpieces across 60 years. Such an amazing meditation on love, loneliness, suffering, deception. Karen Gillan's performance is outstanding, as is Arthur Darvill's... And the moment the Doctor locks old Amy out of the TARDIS is one of the most shocking and brutal moments in the show's history.
Agreed. It was so cruel, I almost cried for old Amy. 😢
It was cruel, but there wasn't another way. Having two of the same being from different points in their timestream in the same place would create a paradox for those who do not have their own means of time travel, and even time travel devices such as the TARDIS don't like those circumstances much.

Season 5 and 6 where the most memorable moments of my life , truly its the best. Especially with "Matt Smith's" Doctor who.

She said old fella, which is a very tongue and cheek way of referring to one’s husband.
Series 6 best moments is the same as series 6 all moments

38:31 This and "Where's my wife?" will always be my favorite Rory moments. Since the beginning, Rory was the third wheel, the joke, the peanut gallery. Yet Amy was always his focus, his love, while the Doctor just wanted her because he couldn't resist an _anomoly_ .
Seroes 6 is the best doctor who season by far for me.Brilliant plot twists.amazing connection with season 4-5 events. River being Melody Doctor Tardis become related and ponds are just fantastic

My one question for the Nixon scenes
The doctor has been in human history for so long
Has seen so many world leaders
And married a few
Why didn't Nixon know of the Doctor from say records of Winston Churchill
Or hear of the mysterious blue box
Maybe everyone had the thought to keep it as a secret.
Why would Winston Churchill send national security secrets to a foreign power?

Because she's refering to her husband, the Doctor, not her dad, Rory. "My old fella" never ever meant "my daddy", or did it? I've heard people refering to their dad as "my old man", but never "my old fella". River is very strict about spoilers and both Rory and Amy already know, that River is the Doctor's wife (or at least they flirt a lot like a fresh married couple at this point), while her being their child has yet to be revealed. So it makes no sense, she would just casually spoil it out to Rory in this scene. She certainly wanted to impress the Doctor, which is, why she asked, if he saw it. Why would she want to impress Rory with that gun showcase? She makes every opportunity to flirt with the Doctor and this was just one of those, well it was missed by him, but that was the point.
I don't really get, why people confuse it with Rory. Why would River try to flirt with her own dad? That's sick, isn't it?

This season had alot to live up to after the best season of Dr Who season 5 its probably one of the best seasons of any TV show ever

Edit: I checked, they're not. Aaron, Ryan's Dad in Resolution is played by Daniel Adegboyega, and that pirate, apparently called 'Dancer,' is played by Chris Jarman.
