I love the perforated metal steering wheel centre in the 190. Apparently back in the pre airbag days Mercedes claimed that reduced injuries in a 35 mph frontal crash from a broken nose to a pair of black eyes!
12:20 - Matra Simca Bagheera I remember - it was 1982, 1983, I was a kid and saw one in my hometown. Green colour and 3 front seats...it was like looking at space ship to me. It was so rare car back then in my country.
Definitely Matra Bagheera, there has been one outside a garage near where I live for the last few months , they had three seats across the front long before McLarens. I remember being taken out in one when I was on holiday in Italy in the late 1970,s.
I have a penchant for C15 vans as I have four amongst other stuff. On every trip to France I have tried unsuccessfully to get a rear seat for one. Don't need one, just like I don't need the vans, but I want one.
That was great, something different. Did you say the Laguna splitter is stapled on? I know French cars have a rep for being a bit shonky but do they really nail them together?
I'm not surprised parts are cheaper in France. We don't get proper old school scrappers like that here in the UK anymore due to all the health & safety and environmental legislation and licensing procedures. It's all a cost that ultimately gets passed on the the end buyers.

I had a vento in 2003 .it went like the clappers it had 1.8 engine.. great handling car.i thrashed it to death .the most fun I ever had in a car if I'm honest
Should have picked more parts to sell in the UK to cover the costs of the trip and make some money
