You're a good man for breaking your own #1 rule by putting the cover on to salvage the car, not destroy it. So you did the right thing and the owner may silently, to themselves, thank you one day.
It’s a modern Carrera, which means it’s junk, there’s a 1980s Porsche 928 sitting abandoned in good shape outside an abandoned gas station in Minnesota. These cars aren’t really desirable no more, and Porsche doesn’t really make good cars like that anymore either. There’s almost no leaves in it which mean it’s been left for less than a single season.
Possibly one of your best videos yet. Hate seeing vandalised cars, that poor little Mini. As for the 997, thank you for putting the cover on it. You sounded passionate about it so try and save it. You have nothing to lose by trying.
The mansion was beautiful. It’s hard to believe it’s been left to decay. I know you were broken hearted to se this BEAUTIFUL car abandoned. I hope some how, some way you could own it. I know you would restore it back to its natural beauty. Great video Colin!
It’s sad to see an old mansion like this, left to go to ruin. Lots of us would love to own and restore a property like that. As for the Porsche, it’s incredible that an expensive car like that has been left abandoned. It’s absolutely beautiful and deserves to be saved, just like the mansion. Thanks for a cracking video.
I believe the law is , if you find a abandoned car you can contact dvla, tell them about the car and that you want it , they will contact the owner! If they do not reply, legally you can take possession of the vehicle!! Double check this , but I've done it before!
Ah Colin you have to save that car it’s an absolute beauty you cannot leave it there to rot away or worse idiots vandalise it ❤the mansion was also beautiful shame if that gets left to rot away x amazing explore Colin thank you stay safe x
felt the hurt I could see the pain in your eyes 😢it's awful to see you really unhappy as much in one of your videos just goes to prove how much you love your cars colin someone will be back for it because it's a beautiful car all the best and thanks for these videos love watching your explores brilliant content always cheers 🥂
I didn't think the mansion would be as creepy as that. And the vandalism was so sad to see. But a Carerra 4S left to rust? So heartbreaking. A very desirable car. But thank you for putting the cover back over it, despite breaking the #1 rule of your explorations 😉
I suppose good wealth is wonderful to the point of boredom, but when the pot dwindels down, this can be the sad result.. you're mood changed when you saw the neglected car,and rightly so... Heartbreaking to see!! Great explore though..enjoyed every minute of it.🏡👍
Seeing how that Porsche got under your skin shows you are a true car lover… I share your pain (even if it was a tiptronic!) really good - and baffling - video!
Someone else explored there think possibly 2 months ago, Porsche was covered at that time, mini wasn’t as damaged either. If I wasn’t as far from the location I’d pull both out and apply for the v5 take the chance
A very interesting abandoned home, I bet that garden was beautiful before. Im glad you saved the butterfly 🦋 Ive not seen this place and some on here say its been done before, It doesn't matter if orher people have explored it first, its how you film it that makes all the difference. Really enjoyed that Colin.
It is heartbreaking to see the place, and hubby is getting into your vids now, especially when he noticed you're a car buff in another vid. He's going to be gutted to see that Carrera. Not a Porsche chick myself, but that was hard, seeing such a beautiful piece go to waste for no reason. Well, no reason we know. Thanks again! Fab vids. xxxx
It looks like there’s very little vandalism there. A little inside the house and the Mini. The rear window of the 911 wasn’t broken. If it was, there would be a lot of broken glass remaining. The glue that holds the rear window to the top gave way. It happens due to age and heat.
I've loved your videos from the start you have brought so much joy to me right through to now thank you I wish you and your family the best thankyou for sharing all your videos
I’d imagine the property is now owned by a developer, the plot of land it sits on will be worth far more than the original house. The puzzling bit is the Porsche, I’d guess it’s around a 2003 model, the tax disk shows 2013 but disks were phased out around that time so it could have last been on the road after that. I don’t think the car can be connected to the original owner of the property . Its not a safe place to store it, it’s like the owner is hoping it may get stolen so they can do an insurance claim? Be interesting to see if it’s actually still insured.
Phenomenal find. I'm astounded you put the cover over it as you never touch things and Yet, I'm not surprised. You were heart broken by it, its body work was in incredible condition and the vandalism on that reasonable to repair. The house was stunning too, a wonderful find 🏠 and a truly outstanding Gobsmacking find 🚗❤
First time I ever went in a 911 was your 996 Colin! Back in our 20s and we felt like rockstars 🙌 I’d so love to see you rescue this one so we can once again ride together in a 911 you own 🥹
Amazing looking place sadly left to rot. My guess is you're correct about someone having bought it but stopped working on it for whatever reason. Both house and cars do need saving before it's too late.
You can apply for the V5 for any car, the dvla will contact the current KEEPER and ask for confirmation. If none is received they will issue a V5 to you and you will be the registered KEEPER.
Have you ever come across an old Zephyr now that was one of my cars that i did miss as the front seat was in one peace and the had brake was next to the door. That was a car to be seen in .But i was still to young to drive and get one with my low wage.
Wow!!!! what a video and what a mansion Colin, that is truly unbelievable. What a waste and the money that would make if up for sale would be one hell of alot. Lets hope your right and somebody saves it and the gardens. As for the cars well I was as speechless as you were, who just abandons a Porsche and it looked like a pretty good mini. The must have more money then sense!! Lol! Video up to your usual standard Colin nice one!.Look forward to next weeks.Take care.😄
What a beautiful place it’s terrible to see it decaying, please be carful it’s full of black mold ,stay safe going on your own .Great vid as always lv Ann 🇬🇧❤️👋👋
Definitely your best video in a long time what a stunning old mansion would love to know the back story and find out why those cars a left. Gutted to see they’ve both been vandalised 😢
Another amazing Location, and Upload, Colin. So sad to see it in this condition. As for that Carrera - wow, but so sad to see it there. Looking forward to the next upload.
The Bearded one. An amazing video, well done for putting a cover on the Porsche, poor Mini though. I gotta feeling the Porsche will see the road again. Can I ask please? What is the name of the hauntingly calm piano music at 20 seconds onwards? I've always loved that music at the start of your videos but cannot find it.
Very cool mate that's a strange one that house looks like it's been abandoned for at least twenty years so those cars dont really make sense they could be stolen or something
Looked like there was a bit of restoration going on in the house as for that Porsche you need to get InTouch with the owner if you can an save it Colin as for the mini that look shocking bloody vandalism, good find Colin 😎💪👍
You done the right thing putting that rain cover back on. That 911 needs saving other wise its going to be sat there for years and just rot away. #savethe911
Hey my bearded Friend nice Mansion, but the convertible Porsche Carrera 4S that’s incredible mate….that is not a cheap car and those brake rotors are not cheap either. But it’s sad that the rear window was smashed 😢 wow 😯 it’s worth saving still all the cobwebs 🕸️ inside also I noticed it’s an automatic transmission to😮those cars mostly come in manual transmission so that automatic one is very expensive. I’m just saying I think so but yeah great video my bearded friend, can’t wait for the next one. Cheers 🙌👍👍😎😎
Nice one ,Colin . We erected many a large garden shed / Summer house for people at this location . The rhododendron bushes and the low flying jets and having to enter via the woods are a bit of a give-away . I shall say no more . lol .
Could you say if the owners were British or non U.K.? Very odd to leave a valuable 911 abandoned would love to know the back story to what happened to the owners, dead, in prison, gone missing after going bust ? Very interesting !
Just finished Abandoned World Explorer and now on to bearded Explorer. It would be an awesome super team up if Colin and Dave collaborated. I hope they don’t have any enmity toward each other.
Must be a valid reason why this once Beautiful property and Porsche has been abandoned.Requires someone with very deep pockets to restore all to its former glory!! House and cars must be saved and hopefully this will take place.Sad to see.Beautiful video nonetheless so thank you for that. Here's hoping work can get under way.Rog.
You do wonder sometimes if the people who have owned these properties and cars have so much money they don't care about what they leave behind or have they just died and left no family to have the benefit of these homes great find.
My old home that my family lived in , each room had marble fire places in . The only one that had a 8 foot oak fire was the front room. And that house was built in 1879. And it is still there today. But i did sell it for the sun off £ 50,000 . And now it is up for sail at £ 175.000. And it need some work to the roof and three of the floors . The basement is still day even that it is 5 feet below sea level . My dad did a good job too seal it up as the other six homes have got flood damage in the terrace . And no i will not go back there to live .
I am not a Porsche fan but even I can agree, that is a sad thing to see it sitting there, handbrake was up too so brakes will be seized solid. Just a shame vandals have to ruin everything they see and touch, how would they like it if their property was vandalised? It would have been good to see the Mini too though as that seem to have sustained more damage. Not sure if the cover will do more harm as it may trap moisture or even fly off again scratching the paint. Unbelievable a house like this is sitting about, mansions seem to be the common thing on the channel to be abandoned but I guess the high upkeep of them means some eventually may not be able to afford. Glad you also set that butterfly free. I think many possessions were taken so they had no intention of coming back. Great video though.
A real beauty here. What a great find. Love touring these old mansions. So neat. Shame about the cars, maybe somebody knows something and you can save it. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sad enough about the house but the 911 mind boggles how it can be just left, sad enough about the mini being someone who's owned several. Would have been interesting to know what was in the garage, shame the Porsche wasn't in the garage. 10 years just stood it's a crime.
Having almost cut my fingers off on a bathroom sink. Yes a bathroom sink. Broken ones always make me wince. Ceramics are razor sharp when they are broken. To this day I have a little finger I cannot straighten. I was carrying a sink outside the side fell off and cut through the tendons. Be careful.
No plates on the car? Wonder if it was financed and they hid it there to hide it from the bank. Sitting that long it would probobly still have low miles and even today would be worth money.
Heya... wow wow!!!... such a great shame to see those cars just left like that colin, 😢 the work you do just to bring us these videos is mind blowing and sooo soo great, yes you brake your own rules but... and theres a very big but.... the owner will say thank you for doing that and covering it back up again... it's really sad wen folks have so much money that cars like that and houses like that are just pocket change to them ....but for covering it back up saves that car and keeps It safe to.... thank you for another really amazing video :):)

car covers are a mixed blessing. No more crap will get in that rear window but now moisture will get trapped in between the cover and paintwork
Not if it is a breathable cover!
Well done Colin. Glad you put the cover back on that Porsche

Looking at all the 110v lighting thats been pinned up, somebody is about to to start a refurbishment.
It's almost like the vandals had some respect for the 911,I see the mini looked absolutely trashed.Great video as ever stunning place once upon a time
