It doesn’t really make sense due to the location of Rick’s group at the time and the location of the Whisperers, but considering Morgan’s mention of people where dead people’s faces in season 3, it’s entirely possible the Whisperers or a group similar to them were in Georgia at some point around this time. Perhaps Morgan and Lizzie encountered the same Whisperer?
the biggest annoyance/spoiler for me was that the finale basically had no stakes because they had announced the spinoffs for Darryl, Carol, Maggie, and Negan which mean that there was no stakes of then dying at all during season 11
Facts and naming the show daryl dixon does the same thing for the whole show. Like never is there actually fear for him dying . Like man he looks like he is going to die but you already know he will put his superman cape on to continue the show . 🤷♂️
the fact that Rosita's actor, Christian had to ask for her character to be killed to add a bit more stakes is ridiculous. Announcing all the spin-offs before the finale killed all the hype.
Personally I find it disrespectful that the finale wasn't even the ending of the show and instead was an ad for spin off shows. Literally millions of viewers stopped watching the show throughout the years due to stupid writing decisions and that's how they repay fans that stayed? No way. I stopped watching after Glens deaths and I have no regrets. Now I watch TH-cam videos to see what happened over the last few years.
Back when twd used to have the website where you'd follow along with the episode and it would have facts and trivia about the episode, you could swipe the slide in a specific way on mobile devices where you could see what the next slide would be. I did this and saw Daryl carrying Beth's lifeless body, spoiling the scene. They patched that out of it by the next season...

In my opinion, i feel like siddiq should’ve lived since it brought down carls death, and also proves carols call for peace since siddiq would’ve saved a lot more lives as a doctor, great iceberg !

I disagree, Carl didn't necessarily die for Sadiq he died showing that helping others was still possible, this set up Negan being spared. Carl dying just showed that nobody was safe, sure you can be kind and save others but it isn't a ticket to immortality.
You mentioned how, if The Walking Dead is viewed as a metaphor for human history, that the Wildfire Virus could represent the Black Death. Interestingly enough, in the first season of Daryl Dixon, Daryl & co travel through the catacombs of the skeletons of the Black Death’s victims. I think that’s a nice touch.

Great video, perhaps a video idea could be about removed content like things not being shot, for example, the place that Daryl and Beth go to, that cemetary house, we were supposed to see the owner and how he died, i think Nicotero talked about it on Talking Dead and that they just couldn't fit that in the episode, it might not be all canon, but i find these things so fascinating.

One of my favourite facts is that there were 8 days between Hershel’s death and Beth’s. I will say Beth’s death annoyed me so much and it wasn’t just the spoiler because I felt like she could’ve been so much more.

Hey Theo, as much as I appreciate your work here I have to point out some major mistakes, which are highlighted by the complete timeline of the different shows : - Regarding Maggie and negan crossing (or not) Philadelphia, you say that if they ever chose to do so (crossing philly), they would encounter CRM and thus probably die. They couldnt have died since Dead city takes place in 2029, while CRM dies in Summer 2023 in The Ones Who Live. Very interesting fact here : the last bits of final episode of TWD Season 11, when Daryl decides to leave Commonwealth to search for Rick again ALSO takes place in summer 2023/late spring 2023. If he had waited a few days/weeks longer, he would have witnessed Rick coming back to Commonwealth with Michonne in Summer 2023 after their victory over CRM. Instead, Daryl tragically ends up in France for absolutely nothing as it wasn't needed. Poor Daryl, if only he had known :(. - When you say that Alpha took the reins of the Whisperers and turned those into offensive vilains starting 2014, it woulnd't have happened in season 3 when Rick and Michonne encounter Morgan. Season 3 takes place in late winter/spring 2011. To better comprehend this : the final defeat of Negan and the Saviors in Season 8 happens in June 2012. Yes, Season 8 takes place in 2012, so 2 years prior Alpha even takes the reins of the Whisperers from baltimore. Basically 1 season of a show equals 1 year doesn't apply in TWD and its spin offs, as you use this system to point out Alpha taking reins of whisperers would happen around season 5/6 (nope). She took the reins of the Whisperers after Rick's abduction (which takes place in 2013, not sure if it's april or September, don't remember) around late Season 9 within the years passing in the flashes forwards. I spent many nights studying those timelines. Sorry for that lol.
I have a theory about Betha. In one scene his seen (alone) walking alongside an horde, and it seems he kind of hear words instead of the growling and moaning. My theory is that as a musician, he develope his hearing so much, he could actually understand the walking dead.
According to the official timeline, the episode "Clear" takes place over 3 days and not several hours. The orange backpack sat for at least 2 days before our group picks it up.
They only visited Morgan for a couple of hours because Rick says the line “it’s getting dark we should get back to the prison” and the whole point of the episode is to get guns and crib for Judith to sleep in, the three of them all return the same day not a single night cycle is shown within the episode

God, this was so good! I cleaned my whole house while listening to the video, lmao. Frank Darabont's era was the best in terms of storytelling and attention to detail, I miss it so much. And it hurts thinking about the wasted potential of the latter seasons due to Scott Gimple's incompetence. The animation for red machete was amazing, the claimers part too, but the storyline of the father and daughters just sucked. Here in Brazil the episodes aired a day after USA, so we were always fighting spoilers, lol. Did you know that one of the songs for half moon was written by Emily Kinney?. Just an FYI my man. The variant “Radiant” walker from fear the walking dead is not the one you showed while talking about it. That one was the stone walker from the ones who live. The one Rick punched with his prosthetic and Michonne then followed up with stabbing in the head.
Lizzie was just schizophrenic and heard and saw voices. If she truly thought they were people she wouldn’t have killed her sister. She would have understood SOME are people and some are monsters. She was just a girl who’s mind broke because she couldn’t comprehend the horror in the world.
With The death of Rosita. you said if she didn’t die in the finale the last character deaths would have been villains other than Tara or Jesus. But I’d argue Luke’s death (sorry Jules) ya he’s a minor chiractor at the end but they played him up like to be a more main member of the group when he got introduced alongside Connie, Kelly, Yumiko and Magna who all arguebly went on to become relatively heavy hitters in the story in their own varying degrees. Luke even he even got a signature weapon at one point and his death was surprisingly quite painful to watch.
What happened to Travis was heartbreaking. He was shot in the gut and it came out his neck cause walker was shooting up at the helicopter, he wasn’t shot twice
1:01 I think youre confusing two separate things for one singular event. Hershel wasnt supposed to die in Dale's place. Originally, Dale was gonna come across a gutted Jimmy before being attacked by a walker, instead of the gutted Cow. This was also planned side by side with Hershel being murdered by an Escaped Randall. Dale was ALWAYS going to die in Season 2 because Frank Darabont was FIRED. The other things were just scrapped ideas. I am so happy Glen Mazarra was fired. They shouldnt have let him taie over season 3 when these were his ideas in season 2.
Yes but my point is if Frank darabont wasn’t fired dale wouldn’t have been killed in season 2, it doesn’t matter what the storyline was. He was going to live until a lot later. But the plans were changed

FYI for others, from what I've seen so far, SPOILERS for "Fear the walking dead", "The ones who live", although on the other hand, I don't think the creators themselves really cared about spoilers as there were tons of ads/images on imdb/etc showing which characters are still alive/which are the new main ones.

The jeans thing is hilarious to me, I always thought it would be funny to do a zombie story about a lone survivor who is an expert tailor with a bunch of old equipment lol, that survives off providing clothes to groups, its a theme that isn't really touched on in zombie stories often, you barely even see people stealing clothing when they scavenge, when in reality clothes would be in high demand

Hey Theo, as much as I appreciate your work here I have to point out some major mistakes, which are highlighted by the complete timeline of the different shows :
- Regarding Maggie and negan crossing (or not) Philadelphia, you say that if they ever chose to do so (crossing philly), they would encounter CRM and thus probably die. They couldnt have died since Dead city takes place in 2029, while CRM dies in Summer 2023 in The Ones Who Live. Very interesting fact here : the last bits of final episode of TWD Season 11, when Daryl decides to leave Commonwealth to search for Rick again ALSO takes place in summer 2023/late spring 2023. If he had waited a few days/weeks longer, he would have witnessed Rick coming back to Commonwealth with Michonne in Summer 2023 after their victory over CRM. Instead, Daryl tragically ends up in France for absolutely nothing as it wasn't needed. Poor Daryl, if only he had known :(.
- When you say that Alpha took the reins of the Whisperers and turned those into offensive vilains starting 2014, it woulnd't have happened in season 3 when Rick and Michonne encounter Morgan. Season 3 takes place in late winter/spring 2011. To better comprehend this : the final defeat of Negan and the Saviors in Season 8 happens in June 2012. Yes, Season 8 takes place in 2012, so 2 years prior Alpha even takes the reins of the Whisperers from baltimore.
Basically 1 season of a show equals 1 year doesn't apply in TWD and its spin offs, as you use this system to point out Alpha taking reins of whisperers would happen around season 5/6 (nope). She took the reins of the Whisperers after Rick's abduction (which takes place in 2013, not sure if it's april or September, don't remember) around late Season 9 within the years passing in the flashes forwards.
I spent many nights studying those timelines. Sorry for that lol.

I have a theory about Betha. In one scene his seen (alone) walking alongside an horde, and it seems he kind of hear words instead of the growling and moaning. My theory is that as a musician, he develope his hearing so much, he could actually understand the walking dead.
According to the official timeline, the episode "Clear" takes place over 3 days and not several hours. The orange backpack sat for at least 2 days before our group picks it up.
They only visited Morgan for a couple of hours because Rick says the line “it’s getting dark we should get back to the prison” and the whole point of the episode is to get guns and crib for Judith to sleep in, the three of them all return the same day not a single night cycle is shown within the episode
Amazing work, well done on this video and all it's brilliantly researched content plus allowing us to dream of what could have been in some cases and what still may be in others. Still so sad of how all the storylines in FTWD were abandoned after season 3 but hey ho. Looking forward to more Walking Dead. 👍

God, this was so good! I cleaned my whole house while listening to the video, lmao. Frank Darabont's era was the best in terms of storytelling and attention to detail, I miss it so much. And it hurts thinking about the wasted potential of the latter seasons due to Scott Gimple's incompetence. The animation for red machete was amazing, the claimers part too, but the storyline of the father and daughters just sucked. Here in Brazil the episodes aired a day after USA, so we were always fighting spoilers, lol. Did you know that one of the songs for half moon was written by Emily Kinney?.

I really liked beth green but we also knew she was toast because it was during the develope or heavily focus on kill reapeat period of the show and she was focus for previous few episodes.
The Walking Dead's own action figure is on the nightstand in a house too. I don't remember the season or episode but it's shortly after Michonne joins them and Carl is in a boy's room. He has to get out through a window and onto the roof I remember

If I'm not mistaken, the #217 appears 3X in season 1. It was a code 217 that had Rick and Shane chasing the criminals who shot Rick. Rick awakened from his coma @ 2:17 and lastly Dr. Jenner's wife took 2 hours, 1 minute and 7 seconds. 🤔

Just an FYI my man. The variant “Radiant” walker from fear the walking dead is not the one you showed while talking about it. That one was the stone walker from the ones who live. The one Rick punched with his prosthetic and Michonne then followed up with stabbing in the head.

With The death of Rosita. you said if she didn’t die in the finale the last character deaths would have been villains other than Tara or Jesus.
But I’d argue Luke’s death (sorry Jules) ya he’s a minor chiractor at the end but they played him up like to be a more main member of the group when he got introduced alongside Connie, Kelly, Yumiko and Magna who all arguebly went on to become relatively heavy hitters in the story in their own varying degrees. Luke even he even got a signature weapon at one point and his death was surprisingly quite painful to watch.
What happened to Travis was heartbreaking. He was shot in the gut and it came out his neck cause walker was shooting up at the helicopter, he wasn’t shot twice

1:01 I think youre confusing two separate things for one singular event.
Hershel wasnt supposed to die in Dale's place. Originally, Dale was gonna come across a gutted Jimmy before being attacked by a walker, instead of the gutted Cow. This was also planned side by side with Hershel being murdered by an Escaped Randall. Dale was ALWAYS going to die in Season 2 because Frank Darabont was FIRED. The other things were just scrapped ideas.
I am so happy Glen Mazarra was fired. They shouldnt have let him taie over season 3 when these were his ideas in season 2.
Yes but my point is if Frank darabont wasn’t fired dale wouldn’t have been killed in season 2, it doesn’t matter what the storyline was. He was going to live until a lot later. But the plans were changed

FYI for others, from what I've seen so far, SPOILERS for "Fear the walking dead", "The ones who live", although on the other hand, I don't think the creators themselves really cared about spoilers as there were tons of ads/images on imdb/etc showing which characters are still alive/which are the new main ones.
I wish Dale lived to Season 11. And OMG I WISH TRAVIS AND NICK LIVED, when they have to write a character out why do they have to kill them?! They should have a chance to come back.
