I like Hartenstein, but I don't think we need to spend that kind of money on a guy that I believe is looking to start for a team. I think we should trade for Steven Adams. He was beloved in OKC during his tenure and is very capable of filling the role we are in need of. He would be on a one-year deal, and I think he would resign for cheap which would allow us to still maintain a good backup center and resign our core guys. Worst case scenario we don't resign him, and he ends up being a great mentor if we draft a big at #12 and Chet.

We need a starting center and make Chet the 4 and watch us be deadly that way Chet can shoot more and get even better looks. Chet’s built to be KD. Starting lineup will be
      Hartenstien
      Chet
      Jalen Williams
      Dort
      SGA
      Jaylin Williams
Trade up with Giddey for Donavon C.
      AWigg
      Isaiah Joe
      Cason Wallace

@@josephglasscock8064 Yes finally someone who gets it. That's the exact starting line up that it would/should be. Chet is more of a natural 4. Rim protection and rebounding taken care of. Dub would be better at the 3 as well. And yes, trade Giddey - either up in the draft or for a wing with size. BUT, I will say, I think I'd rather have Claxton - not sure why we're not alking about him more. He's almost a nightly double-double and 3+ blocks a game. The rim protection would be insane plus 10 rebounds a game. His athleticism fits with OKC as well. Although, I think Steiny is a better passing big.

@@shortstuffstumpleson claxton will probably get a big deal for more than two years somewhere. I think the Isaiah guy paired with signing Andre Drummond could be our more realistic option.

@@shortstuffstumpleson if we put Chet at the 4 he’d be less banged up too and wouldn’t be getting hammered by these big ass centers 🤣

@@josephglasscock8064 I agree that Chet is a good fit at the 4. However, most sport media would say that Chet is going to stay at the 5 based off of what the Thunder organization is saying or at least what I've gathered from what I have watched. Now, say we stick with my thought of getting Adams. It allows roster flexibility with Chet being able to slide over to the 4 depending on your matchups, while also allowing cap flexibility in the future. For the second unit I see J Will unfortunately losing minutes if we get a big, draft or free agency. Dieng is going to be good, and I personally would not be surprised if it is next year so he's going to get minutes next year. I love J Will but I don't think he fits as a 4.

I still say Claxton should be the main focus. Almost nightly double-double plus over 3 blocks a game. And he doesn't need to score which would be perfect, he would take no usage away from the other starters. Steiny as the 2nd option. Jonas 3rd. Trade Giddey and draft picks for either a higher draft pick or a 2nd or 3rd year wing with some size/rebounding. I honestly liked your Mikal Bridges suggestion awhile back. Trade Giddey and two first rounders and maybe a 2nd rounder for him. Bridges and Claxton or Bridges and Steiny added to the roster would be insane.

Anything longer than 2 years is not the move. Need the cap for Chet and dub, along with extending shai

If you had your choice, would you rather go after Luke Kenard or, instead, sign Kook LeNard.

@@ThunderDigestYT ok makes sense if thunder do sign him. Although I think he will sign for more like 30 million.
Every year there is someone who starts out with some ridiculous signing and it just snowballs for everyone else.
Some have proven me wrong jermi grant can play.
It’s just very interesting to see this play out.
Hopefully I will never see “trust the process”
