What's your favourite bit of tech from day 2 of the Eurobike festival!? Share with us down below! 👇
definently the new magura breaks
I wish doddy can learn from steve jones on how to present things.
That Scott RC is a killer bike!!
So wild how Dangerholm‘s 29“ Scale looks like a 26“ bike because Doddy and him are both tall guys.
I noticed too and it’s nice to see. I honestly think most people oversize nowadays. These modern geo’s are insane compared to yesteryear
That's why 32 inches should exist, not 36in, 32!!!
I thought it was a 650B lol!
Wait until you see Conor 😂
Thanks for stopping by mate 🍻
I love how Doddy is genuinely blown away by the Spark. What a gem!
That Dangerholm bike is stunning. One of the nicest bikes I've ever seen. What a fantastic custom build.
Right there with you Joey.😎
At first i was like hehhh? Why this bike ?
All the subtlety is just amazing. Perfect combo between spending like a baller and excellent taste
Thank you so much for your kind words, I’m really happy to hear you like it. When doing a quite wild concept like this with pushing paint schemes and color matching, you never really know in the beginning if your ideas actually will work well or it will be too much or a mess.
But it feels like the it came together nicely this time! 🙏
@@Dangerholm Yo, the bike looks incredible, that wheelset is a work of art!
@@shalakabooyaka1480 The most elegant modern mountain bike I've seen.
Damn. Dude just went off about his bike. He's proud of it and he should. Beautiful bike
Dangerholms stuff is always incredible. He is a craftsman indeed
Dangerholm 😍😍😍 What a machine . His bikes are always next level .
Dangerholm saving weight on them shorts aswell.
🤩 MTB tech SHOWING OUT at Eurobike this year!
Wow...that is quite the fashion statement!
His Daisy Dukes are nice too!
Europe man lol
Ladies and Gents, is it just me, or is Dangerholm's Scott Scale absolutely incredible, or what ? To me it is absolutely first rate in every way possible.
Loic Bruni's Specialized is absurdly awesome as well. My goodness.........
Kind of what he does… take a look at any of his past builds.
@@charleshazen5779 Oh, I know, I've seen them brother.😎
Thank you so much! Super happy to hear it, and hopefully it can serve a bit as inspiration to other bike geeks and builders as well. 🙏
Super exciting report. Thanks Doddy and Cameraman :-)
That Peaty's tool roll is really great - simple, but really well thought out
Cheers mate - Arriving August 🍻🍻
Great episode Doody, so much great stuff. And Dangerholm, such vision....
Dont know what is more wild, the bike or the shorts 😂
Those 3d printed titanium brake levers were sweet!
great to see the enthusiasm tech overload
thanks.... showing more fantastic tech, live the brake leavers at the end...very nice
Wow, did not expect that hard tail to be so insane. I wasn’t gonna pay attention much but holy that thing is decked out
I think the coolest tech there was the guy that brought the all carbon and titanium bits on it but his riding shorts we’re probably the best tech I’ve seen since the 70’s 😂
They have an unparalleled cooling effect!
@@Dangerholm haha I’m sure they do I’ll take his word for it on that one
"Look how far we have come now" - Orange bikes still looks exactly the same :D
Dangerholm bikes are absolutely next level!
Absolutely beautiful that rigid bike, stunner, super nice all the way
Thanks, really appreciate it!
Shout out to the dude for giving us a tour! His pants survived a bear attack and he still showed up!
the battery in the water bottle is so dope lol
Every single part used by dangerholm is insane
He is my favorit custombike builer. I meet him yesterday at the eurobike, was a graet day
Pretty bike. That color scheme is my kind of poppin'!
Love your enthusiasm Doddy 👍🏼
I keep waiting to see the Antidote bikes! 😁😎👌
When are you going to do a pod cast or long form piece with Dangerholm?! His bike brain is on another level!
what an amazing Scott custom bike🤩
Lol, Doddy must be excited to meet Dangerholm. The guyz an awesome builder
Stunning beautiful bike!😊
That is the most beautiful bike I’ve ever seen.
I never understand why they don’t do 26 bikes for teenagers, it would make perfect sense.
Damn, that rigid bike is perfect. 🍻
7:43 😂😂😅 I agree. Sorry Neil
Euros never got the memo about men is short shorts or the male hairbun either…but noice bike mate
1:06 golden words
Doddy just frothing. I would too in the presence of Gustav and any of his creations!
Stunning bike
I freaking love the looks, im gonna build one.
I love that hardtail.
Bruni's bike is 🔥!
the scott is just mind blowing
When you forgot to do you laundry and you got an interview then make use of your girl's shorts 🤣😂🤣
The Scott Scale is super nice
Yup a 1990 MTB looks ace!
Huh, I haven’t seen a dude wearing Daisy Dukes before…
Those Jorts are too short……come on man
Sheeeesh
Awesome bike! But not so sure about those shorts! 🤔🤣
Or the secret high heels, those shoes are very Robert Downey Jnr
More a British racing green and gold! And the Daisy Duke denims waw lol
Still love that Capra 👌
waiting for the Intend booth!
Just a little while ago I was wondering if any bike had a feature where you could actuate both back and front brakes with one lever, and voila! Someone did it!
I wish my car was the same way. One pedal for both gas and brake.
Doddy, see if pinion have a stand there, I would love to hear your thoughts on their new Moto gear unit gearbox setup for emtb. I understand they itls going into a rotwild frame or a Simplon with belt drive
any idea when that waist bag from fidlock is coming out? really interested but couldn't find it anywhere...
Love the Color of Dangerholm.
and i think it would even look better if he used Fox 34
👍
Filipino mtb'ers been doing rigid mtb set up for years
Beautiful!! What is the weight on this beauty?
Uh oh....old-school me is gonna be popular again.
Tbh in my country, rigid hardtail mtb is the norm since there's a lot of inconsistencies in our roads. And the affordability of mtb parts. Overtime, rigid mtb become the norm here. And Dangerholm bike is definitely a banger for me. It's the actual representation of what our typical rigid mtb looks like
It went together easily in less than an hour. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Make sure the front fork is forward or the pedals will hit the front tire. Tires are both a little soft so it needs air before I ride it. The rear wheel didn't come with a clamp regular bolts hold it on. The front had the clamp. No scratches out of box. Rims are a little off with a slight wobble. They could have spent more time with the spoke tool fixing the run out. So far out of the box I'm happy with it. I did replace the pedals with a nice aftermarket set. After riding it a bit my A$$ is a bit sore so I ordered another seat. Overall I'm nearly 60 and didn't ride a bike in 30 years. I like my new 29" Schwinn. It will be used for casual rides with my friend.
always wanted to know if it's a regular scale frame or the version that only the pro racers get? I've heard that the frames used in the World Cup are different from the online shop frames. Different in terms of quality
A custom rigid hardtail. As opposed to what a rigid full suspension.
Well, I remember seeing a Cervelo FS that was rigid because the shock was replaced with another linkage. So, yeah. Rigid hardtail.
I swear I saw a danger-bollock!
He even saves weight on his shorts
Are you coming on Saturday as well ?
not a word about the Diabolus on Peaty's 05 Orange?
N1NOS BIKE X3 ?
I completely lost it
My bike currently has 175mm crank arms, and I struggle with manual-ing my bike. I am thinking of going to 165mm cranks, but I am wondering if losing 10mm would really make that big of a difference? #askgmbntech
I need all the titanium axles.
Footage of the Steve Peat moment Doddy is remembering so fondly in this video. Grainy but good!
th-cam.com/video/AMJVUSucYfI/w-d-xo.html
I was really questioning my eye sight when i realized the video running at 1080p is far from being sharp.
@@andrewdodd5251 Thanks for your honest reply. I can only imagine how hard a day at a trade show is.
I suspect it has to do with the 1080p premium version. In essence if you are not a member of the channel the video is only available in a lower bitrate 1080p version which is significantly less detailed and appears really wishy washy and hard to focus on. The video of today the #AskGMBNTech looked normal again and it didn't have the 1080p version hidden behind a premium wall. Content is great, I don't even ride MTB at the moment, yet I watch a lot of MTB content all over YT especially fist person descents in South America.
Everytime I see Dangerholm, the dude's shorts keep getting shorter.
Those short though 😅
magoora / magurva
Could anyone help me with names of the brands from that Dangerholm bike? Metti?? Dwar bikes??
Thanks
If you had legs like that, you would
“SuperGravel” another mtb trend to watch out…
Does Dangerholm wear lifts in his shoes, there's something not right there, his ankles start going spindly half way up his lower leg.
That's a big lady
Is he unable to buy a normal pair of shorts because he spent all of his money on the bike?
Single caliper controlling both brakes is not a good idea
Well I suppose if you’ve got Dangerholms’ bike building skills you can get away with wearing Daisy Dukes 👍
This mans jorts get shorter and shorter each bike show off video
I love this bike. And his shorts are way too long.
No it's not 29 it's 24 hahahahaha you guys are so tall
Grown man wearing daisy dukes ….
3:30 homie shows off titanium bottle holders while beeing completely serious. this just shows how insane the bike industry is.... titanium bottle holders people... what are you doing
I hate the single lever brakes. People need to learn the science behind it not use these aids that handicap them further
Never.... ever... trust a mtb'r with a full beard.. in dasiey dukes shorts... I'm serious
Why did he wear a female shorts? And a beard.. He want us to lough loud? I appreciate -)
Thumbs down to those shorts. It’s actually making me feel uncomfortable.
That Dangerholm bike might be the ugliest bike I´we seen this year.
Not impressed with Scott Scale. My 29" Muru Mungo with Enve fork, XX1 crankset, flat bars and 2.6" knobs is
where can i buy those shorts?
so you put money on money and mount it on money, great
