I just purchased one. The problems with infotainment are negated by wireless Apple Car Play. Only 2 other negatives is rear camera isn’t great, and side mirrors are a little small. Driving dynamics are excellent. And it cannot be overstated, the high quality of all the interior bits…metal, leather, rubber and plastics mostly feel as good or better than most $50-$60k cars I’ve been in.

I'm getting a 2019 Grand Touring used finally. I've been watching the 2018+ for years waiting for the time to buy. They're in the $25k range now with low miles and 1 owner, plus my Crown Vic is falling apart and needs to go anyway. It's a good time to get my first ever Mazda with the torquey powertrain I love. My wife demanded a sunroof and heated seats and my Forte GT Manual order is taking too long so I'm glad the GT trim on the 6 has everything we want. I needed something fun with 4 doors and she wanted a few things to enjoy while she rides with me to the beach or whatever. I actually test drove a forkin 2018 Accord 2.0T MANUAL and did not like the gearbox or clutch feel at all. They have some reliability concerns and the 6 doesn't. Easy decision to me.
Is a digital readout that important? I never understand people knocking cars for that. I actually prefer an analog readout -- it's 100% preference and shouldn't get dinged because of it. And disabling the touch screen while driving is a GOOD idea. There are enough idiots driving around not paying attention as it is.
Did that heads up display show the speed limit sign? I thought I saw it. My 2021 carbon edition doesn’t have that. How do I get the speed limit sign on it?
There is no time now, to see a before you buy ha ha. After the news of the discontinuation of this model and the Cx 3 for all north american market. 2021 carbon edition is the farewell edition of the iconic Mazda 6. So if you like it, go and buy it, before its to late.
I bought the Mazda 6 Touring edition 2021 In white pearl color black interior I think that the Grey color and the red interior is ugly Everyone has a right to their opinion, those are just my thoughts
If you have an iPhone, the infotainment system shouldn't matter to you. You will get Apple CarPlay over the air, out of the box and it's better than any other infotainment system you could get.
The MINOR drag about that is that it takes a while for the infotainment screen to go live. That aside, Apple CarPlay is definitely an improvement over the standard Mazda screen. I don't have a CE, and my ACP is not wireless, but it's great all the same.

I had to buy the Navigation SD car from Ebay and install it before the speed limit sign appeared. It cost only about $40.

Just FYI the 2021 CX-5 has the new infotainment system and a larger screen. Not sure if it got the wireless CarPlay.
