**ULDUAR TIMEWALKING UPDATE** Lockout sharing seems to still work for Ulduar, but a little differently. For Ulduar, instead of changing the difficulty from 10 man to 25 man and back to 10, instead go inside the raid while the mule is still the leader of the group. You should zone in into the mules' instance with whatever bosses that mule killed. I was able to successfully test this on the first 3 bosses. Let me know if you would like me to make a new video showing this. Still need to test for Yogg.
Just did it there , it no longer tells you about the instance lock out , i dont know if its due to ulduar timewalking or not , but i entered with one of my alts after clearing up to Yogg , i entered when I was leader of the group and my mule character was still in the group and it wouldnt let me continue from yogg , so when i logged out and back in to my mule , started the group again and entered with my alt - with the mule as leader - it worked fine!
I can kill the yogg with the alts using the mule without problem. The problem is that after switching to heroic and killing in heroic, it appears in raid info as it was dead in normal !! How is this possible? any bug?

I give you guys credit for just getting this started. My head exploded the third time there was a log off and log on. I just run toons thru these things which may not be that efficient, but these presets are just far too much for me to understand. I'm + this because I do find it informative.
Here's what I did. 1) I cleared the way to Lich King on my main, without killing him. 2) HS'ed and made a group for my alt to join. 3) I then joined the group on my alt by logging into my main and accepting. Back to my alt. 4) I waited for my alt to get leader status (shortly thereafter he got it). 5) Outside of the raid I switched from 25-man to 10-man then back. I switched the difficulty from heroic to normal then back. 6) "F**k yes" I thought. I then ran into the raid. The first boss was clearly visible and I couldn't use the transporter to The Lich King either. 7) "Well .. F**k!", I thought. I then switched back to my main and waited for group leader. I did the same "switching difficulties" trick. 8) A message appeared on my screen "You are already locked to Icecrown Citadel (25 Player (Heroic))". I couldn't get in at all on my main. No LK kill on my main this week. 9) Story of my attempt at this video What the living f**k did I do wrong??!
Jacob Bækgaard the part he never mentioned is that on heroic runs you need to clear as normal on your mule. Then enter as normal and change to heroic inside. They changed this for cataclysm so his method doesn't work for farming dragon soul.
just clear to lich king on 25 heroic and then hearth and reset all instances THEN inv your alt and change NOTHING. you do not need to wait until you get lead. after you kill the boss on the alt you MUST leave the group and go out of the instance, you can not keep the alts in the group. every time you invite a different alt you must first log back to your main that you cleared with and reset all instances before inviting, you will never have a problem. this method works for dragon soul and every other raid in the game on fresh or extended lockouts.
Clear it on 25man normal. Do what he does in this video and you should be good to go. You can switch to heroic right in front of lich king if you want. There is no need to clear the whole thing on heroic.

If you're fast enough you can do it with autoaccept and log on all alts. Join the raid with all charakters. Log back on the char with the endboss ID's and stop the grp finder. Kick all realmhoppers right away ;) If you have more then 5 alts, relogg on the ID Charakter after 4-5 so you dont lose the grp leader. When you have all Alts in one grp, farm all raids that you want on one char, then log on the next one. Now wait until you have the grp leader on that charakter, kick the one you did all raids. And RESET ALL INSTANCES. Now start over with all raids on that charakter and so on on all your others. Much much faster then inviting every char on their own and start over again. MrBlueeyes usually not that many realm hoppers, even before the nerf it would be hard to get 40 realm hoppers into a "group name :sfhbxghcdtsejkvfdd" (just a random name, so just keep it open do your thing and realm hoppers Will be there, but they wont bother you, dont even need to kick them they Will leave on their own after you put it to not auto invite
I did this last year and year before and eventually got my mounts from all the raids. There is an easier way to do it without logging out so often to invite and accept. I put it on auto accept and did it that way, but then you had possibility of someone joining and stealing your lockout.
+NazzyDragon For some reason the group isnt showing up on the group finder when listed as private for me. I added the alt with the lockout to my friends list and added all the characters Ill be killing the boss that drops the mount to the alt's friends list. Any idea why its not showing up? Thanks :)
I log into my mule get up to boss Hearth out, set up lfg then go on alt find group, join, (logging back in and out of mule) also keep in mind has to be on normal mode, when your alt gets lead just jump in accept the lock, dont leave group but "uninvite" mule and switch to heroic. Than accept other lock and wallah!

I have been helping a friend farm Invincible like this, i am his mule, and we clear all and farm it with no problems. Question i have is, because i have the invincible, can it drop for him too ? Is the Lot Drop Table locked to me and my instance, or is it just per character ?
Tried several time with an ICC lock (LK alive), make group on mule, log on to another character and join group, log back on mule and accept, log back to the other character and accept the invite, wait for leader, switch to N and then back to HC, then to 10m and back to 25m, go inside, first boss is up. No lockout message.

So assuming a simple 1% drop rate on all the rare mounts... it takes 68 kills before the odds favor you statistically (49.9% chance that it will not drop again for the 68th kill in a row). 100 kills nets you just over a 63% chance to get the mount.
I don't think this works after they made Ulduar available during Wrath Timewalking. I tried it multiple times, following every step to the letter, but the raid still behaves as if it was never cleared up to Yogg when I enter.
Make a group with your mule (not killing character) then log onto your killing character and join that group, once you're in there wait a few mins to get leader, get into the instance, hop onto your mule character and enter the instance too, then yet again log onto your killing character and solo the instance. Hope this helps! :)
Kacper Regulski I use a 34 inch monitor. I adjust it to 16:9 ratio to be more user friendly, as most don't have 21:9 monitors. If you check my previous videos , you can see the difference.
dont work for me on icc 25 hc, maybe i do something wrong, i cleared it on 25 hc till LK. did this trick and when i entered on a alt every boss was there again.
You're better off having a friend that has a shitty alt with a lockout and just have him invite all your chars into a group. You can then return the favor and do the same for him. This just has so much needless relogging, but if you really want to solo then i guess it works.
I have found that this does work. But not on extended lockouts. It worked on a regular lockout for me last week and tried on the reset today to do it on the extended and it does not work.
I dont get what this thing exactly do, u get the boss killed with one toon but wih the other toon no,so for both toons resets the status of the boss and u can do the boss and loot it all the time u want without geting cd's?

Rhys Capon this was actually made with Ulduar and ICC in mind. ICC needs a little tweak (which I made another video about specifically). Does work for MOP but not mythic as you need to get a kill for the save
i got most of these mount from old raid. not even doing the raid group. just when in on my main. kill everything hope it drop. most of them i got in 4-20 try. not hard for a hunter kill everything.

dude, im following every step but not message appear on my alt when i enter ulduar (maybe cause of timewalking (Feb 21 and supossed to be ended )), any ideas?
Has this trick been changed since patch 7.3.5? i have my main clear till final boss, make a group for my alts, have my alt join the group, go to instance which says you've entered a raid i progress. I say ok kill the boss exit group, relog on my clearer, reset instance but with alt 2 i get the message that the instance has been cleared even though Raid info says i still have last boss to kill? So what gives? It seems like offliners still get the kill and completion of the alt run.

Doesn't work, I tried it with 25 man hc ICC, had my mule clear every boss (except valithria & LK), followed the steps, changed difficulty and raid size and back, entered raid but it gave me no tab saying that a number have bosses have been defeated. Oh well, back to farming it on every character..
hey , what did you do differently? i just tried and it appears like with no lockout. i changed to 10 then 25 then normal then heroic but it like resets it.
So I tried for Dragon Soul, I cleared everything until last boss on Heroic 25 man, then I invited my alt changed the difficulties etc and I entered in normal mode and switched back to heroic and I couldn't kill last boss cuz it says I hadn't killed the rest bosses on heroic, which I did.
Clear up to LK on mule. Hearth out. Make a custom group. Join on main. Wait outside until leader. Switch to 10 man back to 25. Then heroic back to normal. Zone in. Accept. Change to heroic. Go to throne to make sure he is sitting Then kill and pray :)
I don't get the point to this. Is it just so the trash and previous bosses are cleared so your other toons can get to the specific boss faster? Is there any point in doing this method when trying to farm the fame talon in Firelands?
so last i tryed this method DID NOT WORK with heroic dragon soul because or the instance ID im assuming nothing has changed and i need to clear the whole fucking place again and again
Did your mule kill heroic spine and everything before it on heroic ? Make sure to change the difficulty to heroic then back to normal before you zone in , then change to heroic once inside. Hopefully they didn't change anything.
you can not do this on heroic in any raid at all the heroic id's are the same for every character that got into this "run" at any point - even when you do not see the boss killed at your alt & want to give away that "saved run" every character that enters the raid with your id will get to accept a full clear raid they changed it at the beginning of 2017 for all heroic & mythic id's, but you can do it with normal id's
this method does not work for dragon soul, you need to clear spine on heroic and then zone out and reset all instances then start inv alts, don't change ANYTHING, no matter what. always zone out and log back to the main and reset all instances before inviting the next alt. that's all you need to do. the reset instances method is not new it is over a year old and still works today.
Stenli yes. Make sure to clear the raid minus arthas on heroic with your mule. Make the group and change difficulty to 25 man normal. Zone in, then change to heroic. I did this to get invincible :)
Having some issues too... Only tried that on Mogus Vaults. It says on my "raid window" Elegon is still alive but when I've kicked my alt out, zoned in again with my running char, it still tells me I'm on a run where 5/6 bosses are down (Elegon being the 5th). I just don't understand how the heck can I still be considered as on my alt's ID If anyone can bring some help, i'd be grateful & i'll tank a +15 COEN for ya, lol (jk, no one wants to do that shit as hard as a +15, especially when it comes to this week's affixes)
MyFatezero at the time of making this video, all the information seemed relevant and most other guides were including steps like running the save character to the outside of the dungeon and logging out inside, which would waste hours of time during the course of a year, which is nothing compared to 2 minutes. In any case, this method has seen many improvements in time since the making of this video, but it doesn’t really matter since I believe the method has been fixed, for now. But thank you for watching :)
Yeah I know but just tried it and once the first person has gone in and killed Yogg then next person to go in it says Yogg has been killed already. Strange thing is though that when I check the raid lockout on the character that cleared to yogg it still shows as Yogg available. Its weird.
I got a question tho. Can you do this crossrealm? Cause I was thinking about leveling like 20 Demon hunters across 20 realms (cuz of the DH restriction) and applying this method on them.
i feel so bad for every single person trying to farm mimirion's head for years and years and years cuz im such a lucky little shit that i've got it at my 3rd attempt and tbh i was just farming mogs, not mount xD
So I have a toon that has cleared all bosses with exception to Yogg. Prior to you updating your comments I tried just changing the raid size. In all cases I wasn't prompted to that I'm about to be saved to the raid, and I can tell that FL is up. Furthermore, when I now zone in with my character that is saved. all the bosses have returned, and the teleports do not work.
Dane Biederman don’t change the raid size or difficulty, and get inside while the character that has the save is still leader. You should zone into their instance. I only tested two times on XT today. . Once while leaving the mule in the raid and another while kicking the mule before killing the boss. Both still preserved the XT kill on my mule.
I think that you missed the part where you gotta change the raid size from 25 to 10 and back to 25 man raid, same with the difficulty normal to heroic, and back to normal. Even though there's no ulduar heroic mode but thats what he did before entering the instance. check it at 5:45
i used to just use auto accept, but people would sometimes join and not leave and take leader, which would end up wasting time. and yes it does work post wotlk. was farming normal ds forever.....got life binders on first try.

Meh, I do full runs on all 14 of my alts, for cata runs I use a potion of treasure finding. This way I farm mounts AND gold.. I'm greedy lime that. I'm patient enough too.. good vid still tho'. I've told my friends about this vid and they are using the technique.
Prowllr watch the end portion where I do a full run and follow the steps. If you are trying to farm a heroic raid, make sure your mule has cleared everything on heroic prior.
Look i make my Icc 25 hc with my monk kill all bosses less Arthas, then créate a group on custom, change character invite my alt, change difficult to 10 and normal and then 25 hc again i go inn when i get into the Raid just doesnt give me save or anything.. idk what im doing wrong.

Miguel Ribeiro there actually isn’t a heroic ulduar. Try again without switching anything and going in the raid before the lead switches

You can skip most of the relogging in this vid by making the group Private and on Auto invite.

if it's on private the group is only visible to friends and guildmates

Check "Private". Make sure characters are in the same guild/on your friends list. Keep auto on. Nobody else can sign up. GG.

u dont need to log back and all, just set to to autoinv and you will not need to logon to mule again.

So why does one need a mule when you can go into raids alone now?

Rhys Capon this was actually made with Ulduar and ICC in mind. ICC needs a little tweak (which I made another video about specifically).
Does work for MOP but not mythic as you need to get a kill for the save

i got most of these mount from old raid. not even doing the raid group. just when in on my main. kill everything hope it drop. most of them i got in 4-20 try. not hard for a hunter kill everything.

dude, im following every step but not message appear on my alt when i enter ulduar (maybe cause of timewalking (Feb 21 and supossed to be ended )), any ideas?

Has this trick been changed since patch 7.3.5? i have my main clear till final boss, make a group for my alts, have my alt join the group, go to instance which says you've entered a raid i progress. I say ok kill the boss exit group, relog on my clearer, reset instance but with alt 2 i get the message that the instance has been cleared even though Raid info says i still have last boss to kill? So what gives? It seems like offliners still get the kill and completion of the alt run.

how do I do this in dragon soul??? I did it on normal and did the premade group. got on my alt and accepted the lockout, but I cant see the last boss
Doesn't work, I tried it with 25 man hc ICC, had my mule clear every boss (except valithria & LK), followed the steps, changed difficulty and raid size and back, entered raid but it gave me no tab saying that a number have bosses have been defeated. Oh well, back to farming it on every character..

hey , what did you do differently? i just tried and it appears like with no lockout. i changed to 10 then 25 then normal then heroic but it like resets it.
TrocandoBytes Zone in on with the dungeon set to normal with the lockout, then switch to heroic difficulty when you zone in.

So I tried for Dragon Soul, I cleared everything until last boss on Heroic 25 man, then I invited my alt changed the difficulties etc and I entered in normal mode and switched back to heroic and I couldn't kill last boss cuz it says I hadn't killed the rest bosses on heroic, which I did.

so on my mule toon, I just walk in, clear it til I get to LK, then change it to heroic 25 man? then hearth out?
Clear up to LK on mule. Hearth out. Make a custom group. Join on main. Wait outside until leader. Switch to 10 man back to 25. Then heroic back to normal. Zone in. Accept. Change to heroic. Go to throne to make sure he is sitting Then kill and pray :)

I don't get the point to this. Is it just so the trash and previous bosses are cleared so your other toons can get to the specific boss faster? Is there any point in doing this method when trying to farm the fame talon in Firelands?
it's more for end bosses that drop mounts, flametalon isn't necessary to do this method.

Did your mule kill heroic spine and everything before it on heroic ? Make sure to change the difficulty to heroic then back to normal before you zone in , then change to heroic once inside.
Hopefully they didn't change anything.
mule didn't kill anything and I do change it. I think it's heroic if so it won't work
you can not do this on heroic in any raid at all
the heroic id's are the same for every character that got into this "run" at any point - even when you do not see the boss killed at your alt & want to give away that "saved run" every character that enters the raid with your id will get to accept a full clear raid
they changed it at the beginning of 2017 for all heroic & mythic id's, but you can do it with normal id's
this method does not work for dragon soul, you need to clear spine on heroic and then zone out and reset all instances then start inv alts, don't change ANYTHING, no matter what. always zone out and log back to the main and reset all instances before inviting the next alt. that's all you need to do. the reset instances method is not new it is over a year old and still works today.

Stenli yes. Make sure to clear the raid minus arthas on heroic with your mule. Make the group and change difficulty to 25 man normal. Zone in, then change to heroic.

Having some issues too... Only tried that on Mogus Vaults.
It says on my "raid window" Elegon is still alive but when I've kicked my alt out, zoned in again with my running char, it still tells me I'm on a run where 5/6 bosses are down (Elegon being the 5th). I just don't understand how the heck can I still be considered as on my alt's ID
If anyone can bring some help, i'd be grateful & i'll tank a +15 COEN for ya, lol

MyFatezero at the time of making this video, all the information seemed relevant and most other guides were including steps like running the save character to the outside of the dungeon and logging out inside, which would waste hours of time during the course of a year, which is nothing compared to 2 minutes.
In any case, this method has seen many improvements in time since the making of this video, but it doesn’t really matter since I believe the method has been fixed, for now.

Yeah I know but just tried it and once the first person has gone in and killed Yogg then next person to go in it says Yogg has been killed already. Strange thing is though that when I check the raid lockout on the character that cleared to yogg it still shows as Yogg available. Its weird.
I got a question tho. Can you do this crossrealm? Cause I was thinking about leveling like 20 Demon hunters across 20 realms (cuz of the DH restriction) and applying this method on them.

So I have a toon that has cleared all bosses with exception to Yogg. Prior to you updating your comments I tried just changing the raid size.
In all cases I wasn't prompted to that I'm about to be saved to the raid, and I can tell that FL is up.
Furthermore, when I now zone in with my character that is saved. all the bosses have returned, and the teleports do not work.
Dane Biederman don’t change the raid size or difficulty, and get inside while the character that has the save is still leader. You should zone into their instance.
I only tested two times on XT today. . Once while leaving the mule in the raid and another while kicking the mule before killing the boss. Both still preserved the XT kill on my mule.

I think that you missed the part where you gotta change the raid size from 25 to 10 and back to 25 man raid, same with the difficulty normal to heroic, and back to normal. Even though there's no ulduar heroic mode but thats what he did before entering the instance. check it at 5:45

this method doesnt work for raids past wotlk. also you dont need all that logging on and off, just check the auto accept box
i used to just use auto accept, but people would sometimes join and not leave and take leader, which would end up wasting time.
and yes it does work post wotlk. was farming normal ds forever.....got life binders on first try.
You could just set the Group on "Private"

No it doesn't work anymore in BFA. Tried it with ICC and you'll have to accept the boss kill once you enter with a second or third toon.

Meh, I do full runs on all 14 of my alts, for cata runs I use a potion of treasure finding. This way I farm mounts AND gold.. I'm greedy lime that. I'm patient enough too.. good vid still tho'. I've told my friends about this vid and they are using the technique.

Prowllr watch the end portion where I do a full run and follow the steps. If you are trying to farm a heroic raid, make sure your mule has cleared everything on heroic prior.
Look i make my Icc 25 hc with my monk kill all bosses less Arthas, then créate a group on custom, change character invite my alt, change difficult to 10 and normal and then 25 hc again i go inn when i get into the Raid just doesnt give me save or anything.. idk what im doing wrong.
Prowllr change to 25 man normal then zone in and then change to 25 man heroic. I must have not explain this well in the video
