- A video guide on how to obtain all of 100% drop rate mounts in World of Warcraft! I hope you will enjoy the video! This is a quick and easy guide If you want a more detailed guide let me know in the comments below! There is a written guide under details!
I will go through all 100% drop rate World of Warcraft mounts, showing you how to obtain them through this guide!
Throughout this guide I will walkthrough the guide and you will learn how-to obtain the following wow mounts!
1. Reins of the Twilight Drake 0:49
► Fly to Dragonblight in Nothern
►Fly under the Wyrmrest temple (Middle of the map)
► Set raid to 25-man
► Kill boss with 3 mini drakes alive
► Obtain mount
2. Reins of the Black Drake 1:23
► Fly to Dragonblight in Nothern
►Fly under the Wyrmrest temple (Middle of the map)
► Set raid to 10-man
► Kill boss with 3 mini drakes alive
► Obtain mount
3. Amani Battle Bear 2:04
► Fly to Ghostlands
► Set dungeon to heroic
► 15 mins timer starts when you start the event.
► Time gets added when you kill a boss.
► Reach and kill Halazzi before the timer runs out.
►►Akil'zon - Nalorakk - Jan'alai - Halazzi.
► Talk to Kasha and she will break some urns
► Obtain mount.
4. Reins of the Bronze Drake 3:04
REMEMBER TO TALK TO ARTHAS!
►Take the portal to Tanaris
►►Portal is located in the middle of Dalaran (Legion)
►Talk to the dragon or fly down to Caverns of Time
► Enter the dungeon
► Talk to Chromie and start the event.
►►Break 5x boxes.
► Talk to Arthas
►► He will start RP
►►Follow him inside the city
► 25 min timer will start
►►Clear 10 waves of mobs and 2 bosses (Waves shown on you mini map as a white flag)
►Talk to arthas once again and follow him.
►► Kill the 3rd boss.
► Talk to Arthas and follow him.
► Clear the pathway towards the last boss!
►►Before reaching the last boss turn left instead of right to the boss room.
►Kill the Infinite Corruptor!
►Obtain mount
5. Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent 4:29
► Get to Vale of The Eternal Blossoms
► Gather 10x Skyshards in Vale of The Eternal Blossoms
► Turn 10x Skyshards into 1 Skycrystal
► Use the Skycrystal on Alani
► Kill it!
► Obtain Mount!
6. Bloodhoof Bull 4:57
► Drops of Nakk the Thunderer
► Location: Nagrand, Check Video!
7. Mottled Meadowstomper 5:13
► Drops of Luk'hok
► Location: Nagrand, Check Video!
8. Great Greytusk 5:25
► Drops of Gorok
► Location: Frostfire Ridge, Check Video!
9. Garn Nighthowl 5:42
► Drops of Nok-Karosh

In the fist section of the video we are going to take a look at the mounts you can obtain easily and then we are going to take a look at the rare spawns that has a 100% drop on a mount, however there is a catch, you have to find the rare and kill it which can be tricky especially because a lot of people might still be farming that particular mount that you want.
The main goal of this video is for you to have all of the 100% drop rate mounts in one video showing you how and where to obtain them in this easy to follow world of warcraft how-to guide.

Took me about 2-3 weeks to get the proto drake back on cataclysm but boy was I happy when I got him
One time I was running around and happened to find packrunner. Not knowing what he was at the time I just killed him like any other named. Was pleasantly surprised when I got the drop that day.

I logged in one day back in Wrath and the TLPD was flying right in front of me. That was probably the only lucky moment I have ever had in WoW.

Where is the guy you kill for the Reins of phosphorescent Stone Drake
when you zone into Deepholm, if she's up your NPCScan/SilverDragon will ding. That's how I got mine. I sat at the entrance for Stonecore and waited. My hubby did the same thing and got his. Good luck!

Had Time-Lost form 4th day of playing because it was my actual goal and brings nostalgy to me, but thanks to you I got 7 new mounts ^^ well, now i'll give ages to get Ruby cloud serpent xD
In Nagrand from Draenor there are 2 more mounts, one is an elekk an the other is a clefthoof

i played wow from vanilla and was not lucky with these rare mobs until now, ran into Aeonaxx and Tlpd which i managed to kill (finally!). you did not mention voidtalon in this vid but got lucky to find the portal too after a looooooong time of searching.

It still hunts me in my dreams… back when wrath was just out I seen the tlpd flying arround and I didnt fight him and chose a titanium vein over him because in those days wrath was littered with elite mobs dropping some gold and cloth rewards:(:(a horde warrior took it down and I didnt think anything of it at the time! after that time been farming him forever but only seen his corpse on the ground:(
I got TLPD when I was farming saronite on my troll mage. It spawned right on top of my character! Talk about lucky!

Haha somewhat the same for me! I was grinding through those mechanized gnomes there for a recipe that I needed when I saw a shadow fly over. I didn't even know that it was the time lost proto drake since it was still quite early into the expansion. Pulled it down with my death knight and just barely managed to kill it. But boy am I glad that this happened XD

farming time-lost took me 40+ vyragosa kills, 2 dead time-lost and then i finally got him on the 3 time i saw him, on my 70 twink hunter, when achievements didnt share to flash with :D
I gave up farming Time-lost 😂 a lot of people got it when xrealm addons worked :p I still want the mount tho :D

E: also my dad had obtained the bronze drake very early then I asked him how to get the other mounts but he sayed "Isn't the drake enough? I will try to get the others if you want to.." or somethin like that XD

There is a quest for Reigns of Poseidus. You don't have to wait it out. You have to complete the Briny questline, first, though.
is it sad that i still know most of these areas + the experience of getting these mounts from the amount of time i spent farming them YEARS AGO
Highly doubt you still managed to get all these mounts, if you did you were on a super low pop realm. I've played since 2006 and been mount farming every day or resets on tuesday and still don't have them all. Even after blizz changed all the spawn timers to 4-8 hours.

I was looking for Gorok yesterday and didn't find him. Today i was gonna move on to the next mount, but since i was close to one of his spawn locations i just stopped by.... And found it xD
Just went for my ulduar raid achievement, used /target on the time-lost Proto.... Boom hit it today

If you want a gronn mount you can get one off the AH for less than 1000g usually. It's called Coalfist gronnling. The rare spawn that drops the other gronn mount is the most elusive rare in all of Draenor. Don't even bother.

just got my time lost and i gotta say its been a wild ride mostly because i was camping aeonaxx for ages and had to watch a player kill him cus i couldent make it to him quick enough. so a day later im going to ulduar for mog runs and achievements and guess what i ran into X'D now i found the mount i'll never dismount
I got the Meadowstomper. Tried to get Bloodhoof and Saphire in Draenor, but they weren't there at all.
Going to try the other mount in Shadowmoon.
I got the garn nighthowl, it's not easy to take on with a solo feral druid, at least two lvl 110 with good health can take em down.
I ran it again and received the bear..maybe I missed something the first time ty for the guide

Poseidus spawn timer has been changed, its now around 4 to 8hour respawn

Got it in my first try, had to wait 4 hrs and it spawned on my camp spot (couldn't afford to move to the other 4 spawns)

I'm surprised that none of these mount videos mentions the Azure or Blue drakes which are really really really easy to get.
you have to be bloody lucky with the TLPD and Aeonaxx sure they are 100% drop rate but you are competing with everyone else that is after them.
As for Alani they skyshards have such a low drop chance now a days that once again unless your lucky you could be after Alani for ALONG time.
And if you are rich(my realm still sells it for 300+k) Poseidus is actually BOE so you can buy him off the AH
Legit got 2 skyshards in my first 30 minutes of farming and now, after 2 weeks of farming, im still at 2 like wtf

What should I say. Told my friemds how to get Alani and one of my friends got all 10 shards in 4-5 hours, i got 1 all day...
This had to be where all my mount luck went, I got all sky shards in about 45 mins
you can now take the portal to uldum and fly over towards the caverns of time as the portals in new dala have been removed

Some spawnpoints on tlpd were wrong by the way. the two on k3 were definetely ones from starting points brunhildar. another one at ulduar top right
I cant remember if i used the starting point or not mate. I will check it later an update it.
The only mount I am missing from this list is Posiedous, only ever seen a dead body
Nice! They increased the spawn time for Posiedous, and the prices went down a lot :D
Pretty easy to get now, just create trials on different german/french rp realms. And then.. Keep swimming :)

I camped the Time-Lost Proto some 2 to 3 hours a day for 3 months... the day I have up, I flew passed it on a Flight Point Gryphon... Never have been so nervous waiting to land and fly back hoping noone had tagged it :)
Myrmion's head I got very lucky on, first time there it dropped and I rolled 100... ALOT of raid members were testy towards me after that :)

I rolled a 98 on Rivendare's Deathcharger once but the person who won it got a 100, I was pissed and never seen it drop again
In my first play of wow in a free server lol (wotlk). The time lost proto drake had a fixed spot in the map and would spawn every 30 mins lol

I got the bloodhoof Bull and poundfist couldn't kill the one for garn.. I already have most of these now all I need is posidus.. the sapphire riverbeast aonax and the time-lost proto-drake cool video but posidus has three spawn locations in vash'jir the location you missed is the one in underlight canyon and one farther to the east from the location you have shown.

Ahh, TLPD.. The mount I've wanted since day one of playing. I'm not sure why. While I do love the proto drakes, it's piss colored and unattractive but for whatever reason, I'm super drawn to it. So after a few years of wanting to get it but didn't care to camp it, me and my fiance finally camped it together and ended up both getting the drake on different days a few months ago. Hurray! I officially own the land and now flying mount that I've always wanted. :^)

the Amani battle bear did not drop for me the first time I tried the instance..completed the fourth boss with 6 minutes left..no mount..did I do something wrong? talked to the caged lady and she busted urns but do battle bear

I got all those mounts pretty quick except the proto drake took me 2 months of farming to get him I saw him twice but the first time I was distracted talking to my gf and someone snipped him as I looked over at the computer

I got proto drake it take super long but i finally got it worth it and in that map square it randomly pop any where after getting killed from 1 location so you have to keep running in circles

For the twighlight drake i did mythic 25 man and the boss didn't drop the mount. I went for him first and a chest spawned but them i got swarmed by all the other enemies and had to kill them and the it didn't give me the mount. I'm confused.
good thing i got my bronze drake back in original WOTLK lol.

You could have put the Nightbane mount from the new Kara, since its basically the same principle as the Bronze Drake

LeystTV kara came out in 2016 while the vid was uploaded in 2017 i cant imagine it took you atleast a year to upload the video after making it

i was going to nagrand to look for the wolf i put auto run and iwaswatchign the video as soon as the spaphire riverbeast showed on the video i heared soudn of water ingame i entered the game to see if curved out of teh way and i found this beast i was like no no there is no wait his name is slithhide andi heared u need to kill siltherhide to get him i was liek WHAT ARE THE ODDS DAMN BOI
I'll never forget me and the bf in Storm Peaks, I was off mining and he was off herbing, and he said "Huh, haven't see this mob before... the time lost proto drake." and I'm like "Dude, kill it, it drops a mount."
He was about 30 seconds too late, a paladin tagged and killed it first, then mounted on his new drake, and flew circles around my boyfriend.
He still blames me for his loss. Said he thought I was trolling and should have sounded more hyped.

You missed the Solar Spirehawk, which drops from Rukhmar in Spires of Arak. Hardly anyone has it either.

It took me 2 weeks to get it too... I stood still on that respawn point near the frozen waterfall, while a friend of mine kept flying around Northrend killing some rares. There's a theory saying there can only be a limited amount of rares alive at the same time in Northrend... Then, when i managed to kill Vyragrosa, I got some sleep, since Her and Time-Lost share the same cooldown (8 hours at least). It was an awesome 2 weeks, I did a lot a WPvP on the respawn place and watched some nice movies too...
