I was farming Stonecore to get the drake but one day, Aeonaxx spawned in front of the Stonecore entrance and I got his mount instead. :)
Igot his mount today while leveling my first alliance caracter

I was farming stonecore, and the day I got the Drake from stonecore I also got aeonaxx right after, got way too lucky xd
I just got ptsd from back when I killed him and landed in a area where mobs where waiting to kill me instantly....
Back in WoD on my Rogue with Burst of Speed and stacking speed stat I could clear that Stratholme run in just under 2 minutes. I miss that spell, I ran faster than mounts on foot.
I got Rivendare's Deathcharger as I was doing a levelling run on an alt. I almost fell out of my chair.

@@mathias3721 Sounds like how I got my Armored Razzashi Raptor- probably my 3rd or 4th run of remade ZG, with a guild group. Mount drops, we all flip dicks in Vent, everyone need rolls, GM rolls 99, I roll 100. Almost got fuckin booted over a mount 😂😂😂😂
The direhorns from the zandarli warbringers are a super easy farm too... 30min ish respawn which you can loot multiple times a day and pretty high chance at mounts. I think there's 3 or 4 direhorn mounts in total.
Your voice is very, very soothing.
Tip if you want to farm vortex pinnacle, kill all the mobs, they drop volatile air, its a crafting reagent used for truegold which is a part of the vial of the sands mount, so you can make gold while farming the mount
don't forget the zandalari warbringers! 30-1hr spawn rate with 7% chance to drop a mount depending on the color of the mount they are riding (amber, slate, or jade)

Fyi if you are a druid, DK or monk you can use the ports to their main areas to port in and out of dungeons.

It took me over 100 tries to get the Ravendare Deathcharger... Prepare yourself to be very patient... Doesn't drop of first try for most of us.

Finally got the drake of the north wind after 241 attempts!!
Stone Core and Vortex Pinnacle are also very good for grinding rep with tabards. Just put on your faction, Northrend or Cata tabard and you will be exalted before you know it.
I got my rivendare mount while being in a group of 5 in lfg with my twink warrior.

Huh? There are a TON of mounts on this list you can farm all day until you get them with very minimal downtime.
Love the mount videos. I'm several expansions behind so for me it's like wait....awe there's more. Just got iron bound and rust protodrake yesterday. So there's those to. After all these years...never got onyxia but I got the spectral dragon from mogushan vaults.
stratholme i have +1285 try .......
I think I have about three of those mounts. The black cloud serpent, the bone raptor, and one other. Need to work on getting some of these. Especially that one from Stratholm.
There's also the Darkwater Skate, which is very similar, if not identical, to the Great Sea Ray and requires less RNG to obtain. Although it's only available during the week of Darkmoon Faire, if you catch 500 Darkmoon Daggermaws and trade them to an NPC named Galissa Sundew, you'll get the mount! There are a few other things you can exchange your Daggermaws for as well, including a couple Battle Pets and some cooking recipes. However, the Darkwater Skate is the most valuable. I got mine after about four to five hours of fishing.

I was expecting to see the Sandstone Drake as well, since it's also a Tolvir archeology mount.
Reason I didn't include that is because you don't directly get the mount from that just the recipe, so you would need to not only craft the mount afterwards but also be an alchemist.
there's also the rat mount in Dalaran, now that nobody goes there anymore
There is indeed although the mount itself is guaranteed after getting the sightless eyes, this video is aimed at just the random drop chance mounts. I am planning another video for the grinds that give a guaranteed mount at the end though!

I got so lucky to get the Thundering Onyx Cloud Serpent during MoP. It's gorgeous and I love this mount.
I just got it too, but only because they increased the drop chance of it due to a bug letting the new Dracthyr race get it on a 50/50 :) I got both Galleon and the Onyx mount in one day, currently trying for Nalak
I tried fishing in a green pool 2 days ago and it told me it wasn't fishable :(, even tried to move in case maybe I was in a weird angle.
The vitreous drake and north wind drake both dropped for me in LFG groups while leveling the same character only one day apart, i won both of them :) luckiest moment ever in wow
Baron Rivendare mount.... over 800 attempts over many years (since he was soloable)... no mount... =(

Huge reason to kill trash is vortex pinnacle. They drop volatile air which, at least on my server are 40g each. Also, just use zen pilgrimage to teleport out of the dungeons and then zen back. Brings you to the start of the dungeon
Good tip on the volatile air, adds more time to the run which is a good thing in this case! Although I wouldnt advise Zen Pilgrimage for Vortex Pinnacle, the cast is 10 seconds each side + it goes on a 1min cd on the first use so you end up waiting over a minute while simply jumping off and running out takes less than 20 seconds.
MY friends boosted me in stonecore for free... i won the mount... then i didnt have anymore friends :)

Got the Hyena after my sixth kill , was on my first quests in Vulpera and had to kill the snakeheads for a quest . Was really shocked :P

Oh wow congrats! Basically the same thing happened to me with the leaping veinseeker. Unfortunately it happened a week after I bought it off of the ah. 🙁 so I sold it instead lol

My friend and I started farming the mount, but quickly switched to just level in Vol’dun instead. We brought his wife along who hadn’t played WoW for a long time. First snake kill it dropped and she didn’t realize how fucking lucky she was. Hahahah. That hurt
Years ago maybe around 2014/2015 i farmed all these mounts, everyday i switched what i farmed, probably did dungeons 200x in a week and got nothing.

Anyway: I was wondering how you make the cursor light up when you move it... During raid, i sometimes loose sight of it and it literally messes up my rotation when i have to use stuff i don't have on hotkey (potions/drums that is, most of the time)

nowadays you cant farm like this because verything scales to you. preventing even peacebloom farming from being uninterrupted in elwynn at max lvl

Who remembers when the developers left in their developer shortcut through stratholm. there were boxes you could open that would make the gates disappear. you didn't have to kill the bosses controlling the gates. used to take 1 minute to get to last boss.

Quick question regarding the Island Expedition mounts just to clarify, do they drop from those specific faction mobs on the respective island, or if you do the IE and finish it does it have a chance to reward the mount at the end of the run?
At the end of the IE you will have a chance at rewards based on the mobs present during that specific IE, doesn't matter what you killed while doing the IE.

To get that first drake is there no other way to get there except by flying? And can you be any lvl?
Yeah flying is a must and you'll want to be around level 100+ to solo it
for the first one, in 16 years of play I only saw drop once lol and I passed on it :/ was one of my first times doing that dungeon in Dungeon finder. I kick my self so hard. I farmed it once for a month and gave up lol
I love the island expeditions. I use those just to level up from 1-60 very quickly. And more mount and pet chances.

Farm on druids, you can dream walk to vender trash and will take you back to the entrance

I literally say difficulteh 4:50 and clearleh. I'm from Manchester, feel free to look up the accent here, over the years ive learned to suppress my accent somewhat so that my videos are easier for a larger range of people to understand but it's still there
Easy mounts to get? Buddy I'm well over 4000 fish caught still no sea ray went and got the one at the fair instead which is way easier and quicker and isn't in your video.

What game system do you use for this game..my PC doesn't have the ease of use and not 3D like char's in your game graphics and/or driver?
You can make a custom UI for WoW, not really anything to do with the games graphics or drivers but more addons that you can add to the game to get it to look how you want.
Hi, I'm new to WoW so this might be a dumb question but I tried a run of Freehold for Sharkbait and I was locked out for the rest of the week after 1 run. Is that normal?
Edit: I see it has to be Mythic+. I'm guessing since Shadowlands is out we're sort of shit out of luck if we want to farm Freehold repeatedly?
Yeah unfortunately, similar to the Return to Karazhan dungeon added in Legion. Youre still only able to do that once per week for a shot at Midnight.

So I wish you would put text on the screen for which mount/dungeon/or area that these are or come from. Your accent is a little strong for me and sometimes I just don't understand what in the world your saying or talking about. Don't get me wrong the videos are informative, but hard to understand.
Your accent goes from interesting to “holy crap!” when you say a word like lucky or any word that typically (or universally) is pronounced as luckee. You all pronounce its as luck-eh. Crazy.
Let's be honest with ourselves, the Risen Mare is just ugly. Even if you enjoy the dead poney look, it looks way too angular & pointy for bones.

I got the leaping veinseeker by complete accident on my blood elf Paladin while questing through nazmir. I wasn’t even grinding but I wish it hadn’t learned it because it is worth so much on the auction house.
i just wish you could queue up alone for island expeditions. theyre so easy nowadays. but looking at the legion invasion scenario that still is only doable with 2 others i dont have hope that IE become solo in shadowlands
I ran island expeditions with 3 accounts 60% was normal and 40% were mythic runs. It took me 14061 attempts to get all those mounts so they are really rare.

I've done 2.5k-3.5k runs and only 1 mount.
I have a couple of these. The Deathcharger, the Fossilized Raptor. The rest I either didn't know about, or hate me.
Island mounts you now have a chance to get them in the salvage boxes.
There's not a single fun activity when it comes to mount farming. WOW is just one big torture chamber
This videos is older than the upload date. All those mounts are really hard to get, they reduced the % chance of dropping.

You actually CANT farm these "All Day". I tried farming the first one, and eventually it wouldn't let me go back in, saying that I'd "entered too many instances that day".
It's not "that day" it's just within an hour. Once the hour ticks over you can go back in
All explained in the video, Strath takes about 4-5 mins per run, so you can do 10 runs in around 40-50minutes meaning you'll have to wait about 10-20minutes before going back in and repeating your 10 runs again before getting locked out. Just repeat the cycle
8 hours farming the dune scavenger and still nothing..horseshet. blizzard really needs to unnerf some of these drop rates
