I was not happy... Waiting a week, I actually was going to call the BBC and ask how they can make the doctor regenerate in between a 2 parter... 😂
@@3y35poihjpn When Peter Davison regenerated into Colin Baker the new doctor had his first episode at the end of the season. So its not unheard of in who. Despite knowing david wasnt leaving at that point it was still a long week waiting to find out what was going to happen next.
@@mattjcole908 well that's not 100% the same for me, I heard on the news that there would be a new doctor and when the regeneration happened I was certain that was the last I saw of David Tennant... I was in pieces during that week
@@3y35poihjpn 😂 The news was trolling a nation then 😂 I think many might have expected a surprise regeneration but even back then i was well aware they wouldnt be able to keep it a secret... It would be another 2 years before we got the 11th doctor.
The cliffhanger that sent the UK into a meltdown when it first aired
oh I was still in school and everyone was talking about it, even people who didn't like or watch Doctor who were talking about it like it was the biggest thing to ever happen.
The subwave was created by the Mr Copper foundation. Mr Copper was the guy from Voyage of the Damned who The Doctor brought to earth
"I can have a house, with a garden and a door!" ... "Yahey!"
And he ended up helping everyone.
Oh snap! Never realised lol
Makes the ending of Voyage that little bit more poignant, with the whole discussion about who lives and who dies. Mr Copper survived and ultimately saves the universe.

People already loved David Tennant as the Doctor, but they didn't know quite now much they loved David Tennant as the Doctor until the final few minutes of this episode when he was brutally ripped away without warning. An iconic moment in British TV history

I seen the pain in your eyes when you realised the doctor was regenerating. I know that pain. I felt that pain. Future doctors always take a few episodes to get used to but you end up loving them all over again.
It is SUCH a pleasure watching Film BUFF's emotional reactions, and then hearing his intelligent analysis too... STANDOUT
It took me about half an episode to accept the new Doctor - and DT is my all-time favourite

People knew Tennant was leaving at some point but this surprise ending managed to get on the tv news because it was unexpected.

Yes but most knew he wasn't leaving at that point. That being said it did get people wondering though. Honestly id love a genuine surprise regeneration without announcement of who has been cast.

Davros (Lord and creator of the Dalek Race) first appeared in Classic Who in the early 70's, and was partly the inspiration for the character of Palpatine/Darth Sidious in the Star Wars movies.
Star Wars has a lot to thank Dr. Who for!
To this day one of the most epic finals and jaw dropping cliffhangers ever!! At this point i was coming home from school and watching Sarah jane adventures, staying up late to watch torchwood and of course Doctor who on Saturday! So to see not only the characters but the shows come together was just such an amazing beautiful moment!
It's a shame that Tennant had to go, especially out of the blue like that. Still, at least we've got a new incarnation to look forward to in the next episode, who I like just as much as Ten. What are the chances of that?
Eleven was good, and hit the floor running. Though "my Doctor" will always be Ten

Ah yes. Stolen Earth, an absolutely phenomenonal episode and definitely the best episode in Series 4 for me. Seeing your reaction was amazing, I loved it!
Remember the episode voyage of the damned, the old guy the doctor took to earth 🌍 he was mr copper, from the Mr copper foundation who helped Harriet Jones
This was like the end game for doctor who back in the day, absolute greatness
Bernard Cribbins (national treasure) was in the non canon 60's Dalek movie with Peter Cushing as Doctor Who.

The only dud for me in this episode was that the Shadow Proclamation was underwhelming, felt like like a cheaply converted office space in BBC Wales. 🤣
The bit where he thinks its rose tuning into the video call, then hearing davros is so well done, other than the valeyard, davros is the doctors worst nightmare. He thought he was getting what he wanted the most, and got what he wanted the least.

I leaped on this vid as soon as I got the notification: now I have to wait for the next one!
I only saw this on DVD, so I was able to skip right to the next episode: I bet it must have been agony for those having to wait a whole week to see it on TV! And I bet the forums were alight, too.
I recognised Davros almost immediately, and levitated about six inches out of my chair with the force of my shriek. Sarah Jane would have instantly recognised him as well, of course.
Can we spare a few kudos for Nicholas Briggs for the Dalek voices? Caan especially
ps I don't know why Rose bothered to carry a gun: she could have got the Dalek before it got the Doctor [she had three "exterminate!"s to bring her gun up], or even after, but luckily Jack arrived to do it - and lucky he materialised facing the right direction!

My only gripe about this episode is the lack of interaction between Jack and Rose. I'd have thought they'd have a lot of catching up to do but I think "You know what happens next" is the only direct dialog between the two for the entire story.

I hadn't seen any classic Who but Davros have me chills nonetheless, I love seeing him on screen
Fun Fact: David Tennant didnt know that Billie Piper was on set until Donna said 'why dont you ask her yourself', and they hadnt filmed together in a long time at that point, so his excited reaction was genuine...

fun enough episode. bit over the top sometimes with trying to trick the audience but its ok. harriet is the best bit of this. 8/10.

A lot is done in this story to make the Daleks seem more powerful than ever - a basic drone dalek shot the Doctor when important Daleks have tried frequently, the new musical score, the references to the Dalek Invasion of Earth (1964)...
Sneaky reference to a 1st doctor dalek story when the doctor says that someone tried to move the earth once before, long time ago...aka the dalek invasion of earth

@@franl155 The two Cushing movies were re-makes of [canonical] first Doctor TV stories. In the TV version, this story was also when the Doctor and his Grand-daughter [art company...
@@franl155 No, it was a canonical William Hartnell story from 1964 called The Dalek Invasion of Earth. It's the story where the Doctor left Susan on Earth.
@@franl155 There is no Doctor Who canon. The Peter Cushing films are a different continuity. But they also exist as films in the show's universe.

serah janes spn is adopted he was created by aliens he a artificial alien that was created by a alien race trying to invade earth in the first episode of serah jane adventures he was adopted by her at the end of the episode so hepretty smart he was born a teenager with alot of knolledge downloaded into his brain

Yes, you can very clearly see that Luke is her son, anyone watching this finale would work that out and wouldn't need the spinoff to confirm it. However, there was no part of the finale at all that mentions Luke's background besides maybe one or two offhand references (don't know, it's been a while since i've seen this episode properly. Though, whereas people who watch SJA would get the references, others won't.

Without watching SJA, people will only get that he's her son. That's it.

Hey Im, I dont think you will get good amount of views for FMAB, not many new subscribers and hence not much channel growth, sadly... i predict lesser views than death note. FMAB is an old show, it may be good but not as popular as dn. Both are old and the popular one(dn) barely gets you views. I think you doing patreon polls is not a good idea if you want channel growth. Suppose out of you 1k patreons 500 voted for fmab then only the old people stay that think youll like this stuff based on what YOU MIGHT LIKE, dosent mean OTHERS(especially new commers) want that those 500 will get yoy 500 views for sure but youll barely get 1 or 2k more(probably 3 to 5k every ep maximum). If my prediction turns out to be true i suggest make free polls next time and see what majority wants and more people will come to your channel. And MORE people will join patreon aswell instead of you trying to listen to and please old patreons.

Actually its not good for Im only because I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW EASE it was for me to predict everything. Im not kidding im not as goot at predicting and making theoried as Im but i still knew what was going on. Yes he may react to the story but he will complain how obvious everything was so idk
