Liked and bookmarked for my MSK magazines (used on my WE M4). Don't care if it's long and tedious, attention to detail is good for teching like this. Thanks!
Hahahaha wish I would of found this video an hour ago. The O-ring that sits between the two mag parts was leaking and I had to disassemble it and put it back together to stop the leak (I stopped the leak btw). However putting the BB follower spring back was a pain in the arse. I resorted to doing what you did and it worked. If i would of found this video before hand i would of saved myself a half hour or so of frustration
Yeeh. Even with the "trick" I show it's still not easy/fun :( I'm guessing the people assembling them in the factory have some sort of jig to keep the spring in place.
If you don't put back in that bottom plastic piece in the feed trench and just have the feed spring bottom out you can fit about 5-6 more BBs in each magazine :D Great video very helpful!
I got WE L85A2 GBB (my first WE rifle for one project) and look's like output valve have got wrong holes. When i tight it - it's not at one line with hole on magazine (under feeding lips). When i loose it - it's start to leak. Also, nice 50 FPS video!
ELITE AIRSOFTER Thanks for the kind words man, I appreciate it! I also wish and want to upload more but you know with my level of standards it takes time to set up, film, edit etc. so it's a lot of work and sometimes I just don't have the time nor energy, but I will try to improve!
42:35 Can't stop laughing x) I had a very hard time too trying to put back that spring, broke my bb's follower at the same time, now the magazine doesn't catch the bolt anymore. Very nice video, super well explained and high quality, with all the description and links, awesome ! Thanks a lot for the dimensions of the o-rings, it helped me buy new ones ! Keep up the good work =)
Hey! I see that you are using har metal tool to remove Oring. I would suggest using tool that i softer then the metal where the oring sits. I use toothpick in wood and that would never scratch the metal. If scratch happens, then there will be a leak. In shock service (on bikes and cars/ motorcykels) this is very important, and plastic tool can be recommended.
Thanks for the feedback man, glad you found it helpful! As for likes, well, I would like more, but the views is what counts. Sharing the information. Even though I am a "TH-camr" (technically I suppose), even I have a hard time remembering giving a thumbs up on videos I watch and like. So I get it.
Very informative and helpful :) Thanks! BTW you wouldn't happen to know the sizes for WE GBB pistols would you? I know it varies, but my PX4 (based off the m9 mag i think) is leaking from the baseplate o-ring and I would like to replace it with a better o-ring to stop the leak because nothing I do to it will stop it from completely leaking. Thanks again!
I know this video is pretty old but I have a pretty straightforward question. Are you able to fit the c02 internals into the make shell? Otherwise do you have a tutorial on fitting it into a real pmag shell? Thanks
@@CJAwesome83 Just to clarify then the msk and the m4 aluminum mags are internally interchangeable as well? Do different version magazines also have different internal dimensions?
I will not be doing that. I bought a couple of pre-made ones from a guy in the US which were very well done. Cost me $60 USD just for the empty shells. I have recently tried doing it myself and after spending 3 hours on a single magazine and having it look really sh*tty and not fit right I just came to the conclusion that I will be happy with the WE MSK black and tan shells for my airsoft builds. To do it right you would probably need to build a jig and have the right tools and possibly machines. So yah. WE MSK/ACR magaizne shells are the way to go. You can buy them from KY Airsoft separately but they are pretty pricey. I just went ahead and bought new MSK GEN2 magazines with internals.
cool thanks for the tutorial mate >D now have to buy all that stuff.... maybe you even could do so money out of it in UK i tried to find some people or service to do that for me... but of course nobody did
Thank you so much for the o ring specifications. Much better than going into a store with the old ones in hand and trying to find matches. You sound you're from the US, was the UK store you linked the cheapest place you found them from?
vastoholic2 Nah I am in Sweden so UK store was the better option for me. I am sure you can find a similar online store in the US to get your orings locally.
hmmm.inner part of these mags look just same as my we-gbb m4 mags for my WE 416 gbbr.İ wonder will this MSK fit for my 416?its really interesting that i cant find silicone oil in Turkey...have to order from somewhere
+oguzberlin Yeah the internals are the same. But the 416 has a different magazine well in the lower which means you have to modify the curved part of the MSK magazines to make them fit properly.
Hi! I have this exact magazine and the propellant I use is propane. I've had some problems. Some of which are that I only get about 10rds per charge. I usually hold the gas there for 10 -15 seconds. I've tried 20 seconds too! What ever I do, I can't seem to get 30 rds. Also, my bolt on doesn't lock back. Any solutions to these problems please !?!?
Max Hernandez Regarding the gas problem. It could be that your magazines and propane are at the same ambient temperature. That means when the propane goes into the magazine it normalizes too quickly in the chamber. Try this: Fill the magazine with just a short "puff" (1 second max) of propane. Then press the valve in the back of the magazine to vent the gas out. Then fill the magazine until you hear it stop filling from the propane bottle (normally under 10 seconds). Then try to fire it and see how it goes. You can accomplish the same thing by cooling the magazines for a few minutes in the fridge and then filling them, and letting them get back to room temp before shooting. As for the bolt, check out this video: th-cam.com/video/IWNMVzjLO-w/w-d-xo.html
Bought a WE M4 GBBR as my first airsoft rifle..... One day and its starting to fail. Bolt catch and the part on the bolt where it makes contact is completely worn away. And the mag it came with started leaking on the first day. Chinese junk as usual. I've gotten real AR15's i've paid about the same for and they run flawless.

I don't even have a gbb m4 mag,but I still watched it.Cause You're awesome!:D

Yeppz.l I prefer to keep realistic BB count in mine :-)

Thank you :-)
Nice video, and thanks for the info on the o-rings. I have mine ordered already :-)
No problem man, just glad I can help :D
Thanks a ton for the o-rings dimensions
You're welcome :D
what i just did with my spring is put the spring around a metal straw, and put it in that way, it was a little easier.
Good tip. I will keep that in mind for next time :D

The internal dimensions are the same for gas magazines and CO2 magazines so it should be fine :-)
@@CJAwesome83 Just to clarify then the msk and the m4 aluminum mags are internally interchangeable as well? Do different version magazines also have different internal dimensions?
All WE M4 magazine shells and internals have the same dimensions and will be interchangeable. GEN1, GEN2, GAS, CO2, STANAG, MSK etc.
@@CJAwesome83 Thank you for your help!
Could you do a video guide of you putting WE CO2 internals into real pmag shells, please? There was a guide but Photobucket killed it

I made a diagram for you of the dimensions of the keys :-)
