Question, do you just eat whatever you want????? Or do you limit some of your foods like citrus spice and dairy?
Yay that is so exciting :) I definitely don't eat whatever I want and remain pretty strict with making sure I don't eat any of my trigger foods (caffeine, high fibre vegetables, candy, fried food etc). I do everything in my power to lower the risk of my treatment no longer working and ending up back in a flare.
Did the stelara work well for you? I'm probably going to be switching from Humira soon.
I've been on Stelara for 7 months now and I can say its been my saving grace. I was in a really bad flare up for 9 months and nothing was working until I was finally able to start on Stelara. This is my first time on a biologic medication so I don't have anything to compare it to but i'm just so thankful it has been working really well for me :)
@@bellasala how long did it take for Stelara to start working for you? And is it still working for you? I got my first injection 5 days ago and I've been in a flare-up for over a year and a half:( really hoping it works for me
@@zoe1893 hi! It was probably around 3 weeks if I remember correctly. The first week I remember feeling no different and got really worried but then one day (around the second week) everything started to turn around for the better day by day. I have been on it now for about 1 year and 3 months and it is still working great for me! I hope you start to feel better really soon and get some relief ❤
