Hey I have crohns and I have so many questions What are some foods that don’t cause flares? and how do you keep energy? I am constantly tired pretty much I tried to go on a guts to glory diet but I’m not constant and it’s hard for me to figure out what foods actually cause flares 😅 please help!

You can’t have caffeine? I’m watching videos about what other ppl eat during flare ups, and I know everyone is different but I think my bf has struggled with this so badly. He’ll have a flare of for a day or so and then he will go eat takeout foods and I can’t help but feel that’s a recipe for disaster. Somehow he doesn’t learn what works for him or not and he will stay sick for longer. He drinks a ton of caffeine products and still had a lot of dairy despite saying he is a bit lactose intolerant… it seems a big amount of oats domt sit well with him like it doesn’t digest but I’m trying to see what others do. He also just doesn’t eat all day and stuffs himself like a holiday Turkey at night 🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s so hard to watch this idk how to help him.

Crohn's weight loss is no joke, I'm still working on getting my diagnoses because the health care system is failing me but my older sister has it as well as my father and it's hereditary. I've been sick for over a year, lost 40lbs, fatigued and barely able to eat almost everyday plus swelling and pain. I'm glad they helped your mother finally because 79lbs is terrifying.

Hi, I’m glad I came upon this video. I’ve been doing a bunch of research in regards to my pain. Let me state that I’ve have had issues with Canker Sores and strep throat growing up as well. (I currently have 3 Canker Sores as I’m typing this now lol) I’m 22 years old and I’ve been dealing with belly button pain for YEARS. Sometimes if I were to move, I would get tightness dead center of my belly button with is HORRIBLE pain…. I can’t breath, can’t move. Sometimes it would make me laugh cause it’s ridiculous how often this happens. Of course it’s hard to laugh because the pain clearly gets worse. It’s sudden and severe pain that I have to wait out 30secs to 1 minute for it to go away. Now mind you I’ve had abdominal surgery at a very young age at the age of 10 to have an ovary removed. So my doctor assumed it may be abdominal adhesion and didn’t really address what to do next. Fast forward a few weeks later I started having suspected gallbladder pain. I had an ultrasound done for this and no gallstones were found so they are referring me to a GI doctor because there’s obviously something deeper in there going on. All of a sudden to “gallbladder pain” has gone away and now I have general discomfort and radiating, intermittent pain in the are right of my lower belly button followed by the current belly button pain. It’s sad to say, but I am honestly hoping it’s Crohns. I was tested for it when I was 4 because I was showing symptoms of it at the time as well, but of course since I was so young nothing was actually found. I’m always tried and genuinely do not feel good and the discomfort is getting worse by the day. ☹️ Hoping I can find a diagnosis soon! Thank you for this video!

Some doctors say Crohn Disease is caused by LEAKY GUT and leaky gut is curable, but doctors said you MUST change your diet. Do NOT eat FOOD CHEMICALS ! Please try Visbiome (Medical Food/powder, probiotic) ! 1 packet Visbiome= 450 billion good bacteria I know someone who was diagnosed with Crohn Disease a few years ago. She was in remission for the last two years, but after using IV medicine, she had recurrent infection (side effect) and had to take antibiotics. After using antibiotics 4~5 times in a short period of time, she had inflammation again. Her doctor said Visbiome will not help anything, but she took the medical food anyway (5 packets of Visbiome per day). Within two months, her blood test and fecal exam came out NORMAL (This means she DOESN'T have inflammation anymore). Probiotics die when they come in contact with stomach acid, so you must take it with EMPTY STOMACH (ex) right after you wake up in the morning). I think capsules have some food chemicals in it, so take POWDER PROBIOTIC. Even if there are a lot of good bacteria in the intestines, if there is no food (for good bacteria), they will starve to death. Salmon, garlic, onion, sweet potato, kale, cabbage, broccoli, banana, apple(with peel), plant root (plant root inulin feeds good bacteria All THE WAY TO RECTUM)...etc. I pray for your good health ! Jesus Loves You !

I got diagnosed when i was 24, im now almost 40 and i will say this disease definitely progesses w age. I just filed for disability last year. Almost died in 2015 of bowel obstruction spent 13 days on life support but 5 major surgeries and an illieostomy laster i was released, had a reversal 10 months later and in the last 3 months, havent been able to eat much, very bad mornings, and lots of pain. Making a doc appointment today for sure. Tired of not feeling good. I just want to have one good day. Anyone else ever feel hopeless w this. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy!!! It is absoltely HORRIBLE!!! Sending so much love and good vibes!❤

Crohns was never something mentioned to me in the months of me being sick prior to my diagnosis so I never really had time to be scared lol.
