Hello, thanks for this video! Still running perfectly the engine? I have in mind to do it in mine.

How's the engine running now? Thanks for sharing your rebuild process. I chose the used engine option but kept my engine for Future rebuild.

How you do the bore and hone with the FRM liner?

Hello great video was wondering how the car has been since the rebuild? I’m rebuilding mine and wanted to ask about the skunk2 con rods and how they’ve been

Just blew the engine in my S... so sounds like it was around 8,000 USD?

The production quality was really good in this video, however I would say the music was a little too loud when you were talking lol
Will you have the car mapped once the rebuild is finished? If the Mahle pistons are higher compression you'll definitely need to, otherwise it'll have serious detonation issues 😱

Quest thank you 🙏 The bit at the end was rushed out because I wanted to get the video finished (it’s been sitting around for over a month because of other work commitments). Definitely plan on doing that. The JDM blocks had a higher compression from factory which resulted in the higher horsepower figure of 250, rather than the 240-ish in the European models.

@@dorsetscousersgarage9913 ah, I see. Yeah, the Japanese ones were 11.7:1, as opposed to the 11:1 we got here. Hope it goes well, maybe 260hp if the compression is up around 12:1?
