I pictured the house to be alot more fantastical/sci-fi looking sort of the style BigBug was in, and the guy as an older man . I hope the new adaptation has a larger budget and is able to pull off the original plot
they would need to see one to know it even exists. If they've never seen one and do not know what ramps are for, how can they know that they even exist and escape is possible?
isn't that JUST LIKE a woman? They are oh so damn proud of the fact that they can give birth, something EVERY ANIMAL ON EARTH is able to do, yet when it comes to a man actually bringing something into existence using his mind, she freaks out! Jealous much?
Well: If they are intelligent, as implied in the episode, they would figure out how to make a ramp wotout seeing it. Intelligence is not just 'copy what you see' but finding creative and novel solutions to a problem
I was watching this episode in bed and this fraking massive spider (and I seriously mean ginormous) crawled up beside my head. I nearly jumped out of my skin!
yeah it's very hard on the willing suspension of disbelief... even as a layman I can tell no scientist worthy of that title would handle the situation like that. Even the very setup of the experiment (people fall in by accident, THE DOG CAN GET IN)... I guess we have to assume he already lost his marbles a lot earlier
Krokberg : Yes. It’s terrific. It’s more violent, contains some unexpected twists and presents much more information on the sandking ecology.. it’ is (or was) available on the net as a .0df. I downloaded it over ten years ago.
He thinks that he is learning about the Sand Kings. The Sand Kings are really learning about him and mankind. Yes, they obviously could leave but are content to serve and learn from their perceived creator. The relationship goes sour and they are no longer content.
as a scientist he is a bit fast and loose with procedure. he almost fell in the sandpit and then drops his wife in their to let one escape. Everyone is pretty calm with unknown aliens in the shed in a sandpit which doesn't have a lid!!!!
cowboyz very courageous i hate da dad coz he aint got no respekt for animalz coz he aid dat damn dog hes mean towards animalz lik da kid coz he showz so mutch kindnes and luv for cowboy gues cowboyz in hevan by now coz dis is so old and dogz live very short tim

6:31 Dog: NAOOOOOO!
what a stupid dog
Omg I read the book as a teen and this is exactly as I imagined it! Including the main actor 😂
Also, he sees creatures he knows are carnivorous getting as close as possible to the glass - he thinks "lol must want to be friends"
Call some Bugskiller and get 2 Liters of Bugspray for the Ugly Sandbugs!!😱🤭
I wonder if those sandkings can breath an amonia atmosphere ?

The little sandkings ate it!
i think it's pretty clear he's not rational...hence being fired...and bringing these things home
Is it me or is there chunks missing from this playlist?
LOL Exactly.

4:40 is when we know he's lost it.
Poor doggy ... 😥
Red queen vs white queen :)
im sorry for anyone who cared about that dog but that dog was dumb as hell, it happens sometimes, like when they run out in traffic...huh
@UnderDog988 Have you seen the rest of the episode? Being stung by one is... very not good.
i've seen a lot of dogs hit or run over...i've never seen a cat chasing a car
Wonder what would've happened if he'd handled their killing of the dog a bit better. He could've had himself quite the following if he'd been nicer.
2020

Has anyone read the shortstory this is based on?

It happens even more with cats. Hence the phrase; curiosity killed the cat.
