He looks like the love-child of Jeff Lebowski (no surprise there) and Bill Hicks. I mean that in the best possible sense; who wouldn't want to be compared to either of those two (fictional or otherwise)?!

I'm disappointed. Martin's novella was way better than this. They should have stuck to the original material. It's supposed to be otherworldly and bizarre, and seem like it takes place in an alternative reality. The original story is just as much about isolation and loneliness of a man as it is about his horror. They truly missed that mark...

I'm not pseudo-intellectual, I happen to be a recent film-school graduate. And I happen to specialize in adaptations. Hence this video was of interest to me and I commented on it. Trust me, I know a shitty adaptation when I see it. If you consider this a good cinema I'm afraid you have absolutely no taste.
