Being disrespectful of other tenants is a huge problem. My dad had this issue constantly as a landlord.
That sucks to hear! How does your dad manage the situation?
I can't understand it. I really want to get along with my neighbours. I try to be quiet, I never held late parties, I don't have noisy kids, or play loud music.
Just my 3 cats that are all neutered, vaccinated & claws trimmed so they don't cause a nuisance for anyone else. I have bought all my neighbours cat repellant for those who don't want my cats near. I even regularly go around the yard & pick up any 💩 I see..
I pick up trash from the yard that isn't mine. I plow the snow in winter & sand the ice, so the owners don't have to pay for it..
I help my neighbours with anything they ask.
It's better for yourself if you get along with your neighbours. And I don't have to worry that any of them will harm my cats. Bcs you never know who's a cat hater..
Take your responsibility & treat others the same way you want others to treat you. It's really not that hard..
I also fix small things that need to be fixed. Recently my kitchen sink had a small leak. Instead of having the landlord to come over & waiting for them to call someone to come fix it - that fit's with my irregular working time. I went & bought the things needed myself, and my BF fixed the sink (he has the experience). I just told my landlord beforehand what was up, sent some pictures & that we were going to fix it. The landlord was happy with that.. I didn't ask for it to be taken of the rent bcs I paid only 15€ for the parts.
Keep contact! Agree before you do anything & just act like a decent human being..
Trail cams and cctv etc and record the racket!
Are you allowed to have CCTV monitoring properties that you rent to others?
"Loud, but not excessively loud." What does that even mean? A woman with a small child has no business hosting loud, boozy parties anyway. That kid's got to be suffering too.

You have to think of other people before you party..the bridge is not safe..sorry the people that like to party..out they go no mercy..they messed up the apartment..
What do you think the punishment should have been?
I am happy that in the USA we just have to pay rent every month and not every week
It depends on your agreement - some will be weekly, others monthly
US is the only country I ever heard mention that people pay rent weekly even if they stay way longer..
In finland, monthly is the norm.
