I know and knew several hoarders here in the US that never got help. I had one friend pass away in his home with his hoard all around him. Another one of my friends is a cat hoarder and her house is now unlivable. She is in a care facility. I am glad that these people on the program got help. Thanks for what you do!
The cat hoarders are the worst. Poor animals usually don’t end up well in that situation.
What happened to the poor cats?
@@WendyP1965they end up being carcasses
@@WendyP1965 I concur. What did happen to the poor cats?
I helped many folks multiple times, all for nothing, they all continued that way of living.
Just watched the famous Matt Paxton from Hoarders (U.S.) talking about the hoarding disorder. He said that every single hoarder he ever dealt with had some sort of severe trauma, and the hoard was a way to avoid the pain of that trauma. He also said that it does no good to clean up the hoard until the hoarder has dealt with the trauma. They will simply rehoard until the trauma has been dealt with. He urges compassion and love and said that he learned yelling at the hoarder, which he used to do, is cruel and ineffective as well.
Sounds like Matt has learned a lot.
Don't have any desire to hold on to things
I had so much trauma in my life I' am amazed at being alive
I am a hoarder and Matt is right!
Sounds a lot like addiction to drugs also.
I have a very close friend more like a dad collect everything, I helped him once carry some in some groceries in, house is packed and dark just pathways to move around even his car is packed
Oh my goodness all I could think about was you're going to kill the dog with that raid spray🤪
Sad. I don't know about the UK, but here in the US those are often made from brutal nerve toxins.
My main thought.
Same! That wee dog exposed to poisonous spray. Shameful.
The poor dog is NOT happy.
I thought about that dog while they were spraying that Raid and what he and they were breathing in. He is comfortable with his owner but they should of taken him out when they sprayed the Raid for sure.
Dog is so cute, like "what the heck is going on here?" He's a star.
To me the poor dog seems to be neurotic anxious and very frightened.
I think that dog is cute also.
Thats not a dog that's a rat.
@@AndrogynousMIE all the chiuahuas ive been around are generally that way
How find those dogs so ugly because of the gigantic eyes
Hoarders in Europe always looks so much more easy going and mentally helpful versus Americas that sheds a dark light on the entire show And also so much more yelling than Europe and general stress lol everything is always about to be condemned in 2 days, or the owner is about to face jail time from the city etc on the American show causing so much distress and anger 😂. Even the narrator in Europe sounds more upbeat and positive. 😂 It’s so nice and refreshing
I admire the divas tremendously. They have so much patience and always a positive attitude.
I think even the little dog is saying “help me please”!
Absolutely beautiful little dog! I agree with another one of the people that said they was worried about the little feller when they started spraying Raid!!!!!! OMG! I was horrified to see that!
I like how the man trying to clean Rachel's mom's house looked around at the end and hesitated before saying.. "It's.....uh...lovely!" LOL! He was probably thinking that it was tacky looking!
They often say they are going to sell the stuff but they never do.
They can't sell it. The only place it's good for is the tip.
So glad all those fantastic antiques weren't just thrown into the garbage. I was about to have a heart attack about it.
That wall is Rachel’s mom’s house is absolutely gorgeous!!
I love Asian decor. Wish I had one.
How cute is that lovely grey dog!! 😊❤❤
That is the cutest blue merle chihuahua!! I’ve never seen that coat on one before. I kept rewinding to see the beauty! 💕💕💕
I know a few like that. sad they can't part with their mess. The 1800 house is so beautiful and that painting with the birds real pretty
Yah, what’s “dangerous” for potential collectors are certain yogurt brands that come in small glass jars that are perfect for tea light candles!
That’s in the States.
Im with you on that! I love those little jars. Much too hard to throw away!!
I can relate to losing reading glasses. I’m a former legal assistant too but I can’t stand chaos and clutter. Never could.
I have glasses in every room
That little chihuahua sitting there watching everything quietly is adorable ❤
How dare😂that lady saying ...its got to be done... Diddy I didn't see her move a muscle 💪
I'm sure the Raid wasn't good for her little dog to breathe.
February 2024. Every hoarder collects cardboard boxes. My mother loved trash, fabric, papers, clothing, and boxes. Near Chicago. Tina,Al's wife
I had a UK friend who lives in Spain. She had 3 bathrooms ( not unusual for Spain ) that were filled to brim with junk. Her house was clean if a bit dusty but she had to get a builder in to build a couple of extensions just to give her more storage and a fourth bathroom so visitors could go to the loo.
I’m Spanish and it’s really very unusual to have 3 bathrooms
@@bl3524 I live in north Murcia and have 3 bathrooms. . maybe its just the British people who move over to Spain. Plus before moving to Murcia i lived in Pilar de la Horadada and we had 3 bathrooms in fact i don't know any British or German or Dutch people who live in Spain who have less than 3 bathrooms.
I like the way they act all sick and handicapped But then look at the house there the ones that brought all the stuff in
I knew this was UK based as soon as I heard the opening music, because that's the most common music in British documentaries and reality TV.
This is way better than the American one. They throw everything out, regardless. It's wasteful. Some of the stuff could be donated, resold, or kept. And the personalities of the American ones are also generally bad.
The American ones clean and de-hoard better though.
But you are right, the British one is way less stressful.
I like the results of the American one myself.
Very good show, nice people, very interesting ❤
Thank goodness she didn't lose her dog in the mess!
Her little dog is adorable
Reminds me of how clean is your house LOVED that show!
Its very sad because instead of spending your money on a trip and enjoying life once youve retired, its spent in a prison.
Protip... if you're a hoarder, or addicted to shopping, get into the habit of giving gifts to people. I will give things to complete strangers. It makes their day and I got to buy things. 😅
Thing is, no one wants extra stuff. Everyone already has too much stuff of their own.
My mom was a light hoarder. When she died, my sister who is a light hoarder also took everything to her house so now my sister had her own hoard plus our mothers. I said what are you going to do with everything and she said sell it online. Never happened for six years then my sister died. I have no idea what her husband did with all that stuff.
It's the usual tale of an extreme hoarder; she complains about all the stuff she has, even though she's caused it and she will probably re hoard again. It becomes a cycle; 99% of hoarders continue to hoard.
It's a mental illness that's why...duh!
Let it all go and be free ❤🎉... your life could be awesome! Just do it... you got this x
Sandra pushing the cleaner--"It's got to be done"--after she's lived with the mess for years.
If she can afford to buy all that stuff, she can afford a storage shed to put it in. There is no excuse for piling it up inside the house.
I’m surprised anyone can afford to be a hoarder these days.
Poor doggo don’t even know what it’s living with 😂. dog looks stressed out
Even after the clean up, those houses are still too full and still too dirty. Why do people who aren't even hoarders buy all those tchotkes and knickknacks? That coupled with all that floral wall paper and busy carpets is so disturbing. It is a pity Rachel's mother's house was let go so badly. I hope whoever buys it is able to restore it to its former glory getting rid of that awful paneling and obvious water damage. Glad these people are stepping in the right direction at least.
Why the heck would you let her unwrap all the stuff she bought and never opened when you're trying to get rid of it?
Exactly. . .
She could have sold it or something.
Rachel’s childhood home looks like it would be incredible if it was remodeled.
At least there aren't any bugs or cockroaches as We see in the US version
Not every lazy and dirty person = hoarder! Its a definition of ppl that not everyone "deserves".
Some are just asocial lazy nothing else.
You can tell that dog has seen some shit just from the thumbnail😂
Can't stand cabinets full of ornaments. They waste so much space and they're a nuisance for your children after you're gone.
I think I’m going to turn in to a hoarder because I grow sentimental value to things stuff that bring me back beautiful memories ❤
Such a cute dog.
If I ever have to clean a hoard, I will call George. He‘s a treasure.
Well one thing I can't see any dust 😂
So you're all gonna breathe in that toxic insect spray? Not a good idea.
Watching from Oklahoma. Can you tell me what is a boot sale? Is it a garage sale?
Excellent work, ladies
Surely they could get a good feeling donating all those unopened things to a good cause instead of hoarding things you'll never use!
Most of the things in these types of houses are contaminated with mouse feces and they can’t donate it.
Its not funny when the house catches on fire because all that clutter is a fire hazard.
The hoarder gets on my nerves really. I hope these hoarders can learn something instead of trying to find excuses.
Until your perfect discontinue the judgement!
You havent got one clue about how this works do you ❓
@@Heather-xz3eo No, I haven’t and I don’t have to. Professional people are to deal with the issue.
@@daracolakoglu841 I have depressions since over 20 years and the professionals weren't able to help me. I don't have a hoard but I eat too much and I have anxiety.
I feel bad for even thinking this but so many of these hoarders blame their addiction on the death of a parent, when they're well past fully grown! Sure it's sad but almost every adult will experience the death of a parent. That's how things work!
After care is crucial to make this work long term
LOVE THIS SHOW ❤❤❤
What’s a box room?
It's like a really small bedroom, often only big enough for a single bed, sometimes not even that.
Blaming the passing of a loved one for hoarding is not a reason. I have lost close to 30 people in the last 20 years. I am more minimalist than ever
Sorry for your losses. But haven't you learned everyone grieves differently?
Not everyone has grief affect them the same way .... thats how you respond .... her situation is vastly different
As have I, but my “hoard” consists of those dead loved ones things….
Пёсику тоже понравилась чистота 🐕
I want to get me home back before i pop me clocks 😭😭
I didn’t buy extra I remember looking at the older lady behind me and we were like. If it comes down to it let others have it we good just two old cat ladies chilling.
They need to make these hoarders stand up and do some work.
With all the money I she spent on junk, she could have hired a housekeeper.
Why don’t they do a short cleaning of the decluttered rooms?
Why Why why!!!! It causes her "potty"
The bug 🪳 spray will harm your precious little dog!!!! Don’t!’
Thank you.
That’s really dumb to spray Raid so close to that little dog.😮
Where does the money come from to buy all this stuff?
So much money wasted😮
I always say that Iove my "CRAP" more than money. That being said....I have really good crap. NO GARBAGE
The daughter is going to keep her mother’s hoard and let the house fall apart. Trust me.
Do these cleaners charge per hour?
Why in hell is that woman's hair orange ?
It's purple in other ones.
She should spend her money on braces for her bottom teeth.
In America it’s how you announce you’re a liberal loony tune …lol
I don't understand the financial resources that allows these people to sit around and buy useless stuff ad nauseam. Inheritances?
refusing to throw anything away is like telling your body to never take a dump on the throne can you imagine all the solid waste and water that passes
through your body in your lifetime now imagine yourself if your plumbing was plugged shut not a pretty sight i'm sure there is a joke here but i'm going
to leave it to your imagination to come up with one
Orginizer George leaving: "Until next time!"
Well, Divas said that 30% of their clients are returning ones.
I am not sympathetic. We all experience the trauma of parents, spouse, people dying.
They're all over the place 😔😔😭😔
At the beginning. What a silly sounding woman.
Lazy people that want their house cleaned for free
HAVING AN ADDICTIVE PERSONALITY IS NOT AN EXCUSE......
WHY ARE YOU YELLING?
@@linebrunelle1004 I PRINT IN UPPERCASE CASE BECAUSE I HAVE SEVERE ARTHRITIS...... I DON'T YELL.........
Poor dog
why do they always find it funny
They call everything a house. duplexs
Very nice flat. It just said people don’t take care of what guys give them. Do they really believe that they’ll take these belongings with them when they leave this earth it’s like they have no conscience no consideration for themselves till next time God’s blessing God help her.
The dog 👀😅
Nuts
Overeating is another way people try to deal with loss…
The ONLY empathy I have is for the dog. Nevertheless, compared to the US episodes, the place could have been a lot worse. People are gross!

God bless reborn, hoarders lives are back.
Don't spray around the dog.
Janice was pretty lazy for only 66 and was relying on this show to clean up her house. Twice. If she doesn't want to do it then she should be paying a fortnightly cleaner instead of wasting her money on shopping.
whats a boot sale?
A sale from the trunk of a car.
@@sheover9171do people do this in their driveways or do a bunch of people get together and do it somewhere? I find this fascinating
She's unkempt and childlike.
She’s just eccentric
The American hoarders are mean and the British hoarders are nice.
How many 🧹🧼 🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙 Moonies 〽️〽️〽️ are among us?
My cousin is a police officer and sadly finds people who have passed away in their hoard on a regular basis. So sad. Please check on your people and if you’re struggling with this, please reach out for help. You don’t have to go through it alone 🤍
