Damn, that guy is talking about exploits, but this strategy has so many requirements that the game would be already won by the killer. And remember, that there are still perks like wake up, leader, spine chill, resilience that can increase the gate opening speed. They could even cleanse all the totems before the timer runs out and avoid NOED, or even after the last generator was done. Anyway, I really need to try this, thanks Otz for showcasing this exploit to us ❤️
Not to mention they have a whole 24 seconds of room in order to prevent death. Maybe 20 seconds if we account for running from the switch to the exit. That's definitely more than enough in your average game for someone to find and trigger it in time, especially with 3 survivors alive.
Few months later, this build is INSANELY fun with Deathslinger with Knockout, as I just play goalie and the people who do try to move two at a time I sometime have time to shoot them and reel them back in, pretty funny!

Idk why he was so upset, winning isn’t just escaping for survivors to me getting others out for my death hook or just doing good overall (15,000+ blood points and at least 4 gens done) is still a win in my book. Guess some people just don’t care for the actual rewards and want that escape

Also in that time I was a newbie to the game so there was a lot of things I didn’t know that now I know about the game (a lot of them thanks to Otz). Funny how a point of view can change, depending on the way we saw things ❤
Ive been doing something similar: No way out - Remember Me - Nemesis - Rancor. Hook everyone once then follow the obsession. Rancor the obsession when the gens are finished. Then get the rest of the survivors to pallet stun you or flashlight you. Then Rancor them too!
This strategy is 1000x times more effective if you can close the Hatch, that way the Endgame Collapse starts and neither of the doors are open. In one of the older Compendium challenges, I had to get "Endgame Collapse Kills" which I thought meant "kill someone by running down the timer and let them get spiked by the Entity", so I had devised a strategy that involved picking the Doctor, playing down to one survivor left, closing the Hatch, and then as soon as I found the last guy, I chased him around the entire time. Any time he tried to interact with the Gate Lever, I kept shocking him which, if you could probably guess by now, prevented them from interacting with game objects (you can thank Otz for teaching us that Doctor shocks prevent survivors from hopping over pallets). The shocks could be chained over and over because you're able to shock them before it wears off and refresh the duration of the effect, leaving them with absolutely no opportunity to get any progress done on the gate. Aaand then I find out later that... it turns out all you have to do is hook someone or kill someone via Mori (or some equivalent) when the Endgame Collapse timer is running. Whoops! I just bulled these poor survivors over a misunderstanding.

Otz you were so delightful in this video, you were so excited and happy it was so *wholesome* and I love content like this where you're so openly enjoying yourself
The year is 20XX Otz has finally created the after-uninstallation build where after removing the game from your hard drive, you have 2 minutes before the entity comes to your house and steals your cat. He's running Hex: Pretty good job in order to put traps in their house in advance, Forget me, which makes the exit gates open themselves but doubles the post-game-catlapse speed. And finally he has no way out, which sends a construction crew to brick up the objectives a month in advance.
He's not sorry about what he did, he's sorry that they feel bad. There's a great variety of things they could feel, but that particular survivor chose to be salty. In the ball park of, "sorry you feel that way man. Good luck"
I wish the black box had come into play on Freddy’s game. Imagine the survivors do everything right but they’re all asleep so they still die because the gates are blocked to asleep survivors.
@@dandantsm6560 you can open the gate early... while the gate is blocked you search for your sleepy box and wake you up. then you run back to the exit gate and open ist. Problem is that you might fall asleep during the opening... so another survivor must wake up later than you and be your assist to switch... so technically if they do it right they dont even notice the red addon
I've never seen such a funny entertaining video as this one 🤣 lmao this is the new camping strategy 😂 God plays. I think Freddy would've worked on a map where the gates are further away and if you'd set way more snares around the gate you opened.
I watched this again because I had a similar situation happen on Rainbow 6, a guy teamkilled me 3 times even getting himself banned for the third one. I didn't play for an ENTIRE year, I get into a ranked match and the first thing I see when I spawn is the guy who teamkilled me, I never forgot him. I soon realized he did not forget me either as a grenade barreled towards me teamkilling me instantly, I then uninstalled rainbow and decided I would never play it again.
If a Pig manages to get 1 or 2 active traps before the 5th gen pops, and does this strategy, it's borderline cruel, and MAY BE added as a war crime in the Geneva Convention
When a killer kills me in a creative way and wins by the the skin of his teeth, I always commend it. They had one objective: kill all survivors. The fact that they thought outside of the box, did any means necessary to complete the objective, and manage to pull it off is commendable in my opinion. This is creativity, not exploitive.
sending this to the devs calling it an exploit is funny to think about because they said in the Q&A that the endgame collapse mechanic was working perfectly fine
Really surprised you didn't feature Pyramid head here Otz: with him being able to trap the gates and send down survivors directly to gulag I'd say that he would be one of the best with this strategy!
@ I don't think they'd crouch trough your trails in your face with noed (even more if you put two trails ahah), but even if they did that it would be a good waste of time, so still effective
Sending them away means downing them. Downing them makes the endgame collapse take longer. It might buy other survivors more time to open the other gate so I don't think this would work as well as you think.
They can counter that if they use "For the people" to heal injured people. The user becomes the obsession and cancels out "Remember me". But again, who brings that perk when CoH exists? Edit: a typo spotted 2 months later LOL
They would have to know to do that, but they wont think of it until no way out ends and they realize they don't have time without an obsession and at that point it could take too long to set an obsession up
For the people still has more uses than CoH. CoH can draw out games longer, but takes quite some time away from survivors. For The People can literally save someone from being tunneled out.
@@Predated2 I think I recall your name, so we've been through this before. Fuck it, I'll do it again. Even post-nerf CoH only needs 2 heals to be performed at the totem to be a considerable time save for the survivors even assuming no medkits are in play. With medkits, people can heal in under 6 seconds depending on the specific medkit and perks/add-ons. CoH also speeds up Anti-Hemo, as does speed add-ons like Abdominal Dressing. A far more effective way to ensure someone doesn't get tunneled out than For The People is to place a boon as far away from gens as possible, then just unhook with BT. Or alternatively considering the prevalence of DS and Unbreakable, they could just equip those perks and be essentially guaranteed to make it to the boon to heal themselves. If you genuinely want to make the case that one of the most used perks in the game is somehow outclassed by a perk universally classified as average, then I honestly give up at trying to reason with you.
I love these unconventional builds, reminds me of placing a reverse bear trap as pig on a survivor with one gen left, let it pop, open the gates and pressure the survivor to remove the trap.
RPD can be good under some circumstances, I once got a super good 3 gen there which lead to me getting Adept Myres (I mean the game was about an hour but I still got adept)
RPD is being reworked in the future. So maybe. They remade Haddonfield and actually did a good job with it. Though, one of the things I am curious about is if they will remake the map to make it look different, therefore making it different from RE 2.
i saw the twins game, it was so satisfying after so long to finally see it pay off with all three remaining survivors die. As a viewer i felt like i was the one who achieved the goal.
@@karimsonsafehold9233 This is why I like coconut's huntress gameplay... he runs bitter murmur, BBQ, Iron Maiden and blood warden, so instead of relying on stopping a gen rush, let them get the gens, and let Blood warden do the rest if it works out that way. Corrupt and NWO are also nice perks where you don't have to protect gens or gates but you can also just delay enough time for you to hunt Srvrs down and thin the herd.

I love how you just effectively made your own perk: If the Killer opens an Exit Gate, the other Exit Gate is blocked.
The build was so unusually effective they called it an “exploit”. 😆
All while not even attempting to try the other gate that’s open lol
the first one even said "nice gen build"
@@kingjohn455 Well they saw him standing there with both and knew they wouldn't get through him. ^^
That's why he said exploit because they can't move through them. However body blocks are intented by the devs either to save survivors or to block someone in a corner and use your killerspower with ease (huntress, plague, billy, bubba, trapper)
@@dargus1718 yeah. And the only time bodyblocking is an exploit is when its used to stop the game from being able to progress and holding the game hostage
@@dargus1718 they can move through him though. Just have to kick victor
Anyway, I really need to try this, thanks Otz for showcasing this exploit to us ❤️
B-b-b-but if we cleanse totems killer may have pentimento
Not to mention they have a whole 24 seconds of room in order to prevent death. Maybe 20 seconds if we account for running from the switch to the exit. That's definitely more than enough in your average game for someone to find and trigger it in time, especially with 3 survivors alive.

Coming back to this video for Tiufal.
Watching Otz play Trapper again warms my cold dead heart.
Few months later, this build is INSANELY fun with Deathslinger with Knockout, as I just play goalie and the people who do try to move two at a time I sometime have time to shoot them and reel them back in, pretty funny!
Hi Tiufal, see you again in 2 years when Otz runs into you again
20:16
I like how Steve says Otz sucks by doing a weird strat, while he’s using 3 crutch perks😂😂
And complains after getting a little over 41,000 blood points. Like I’d be having the time of my life even if I had to die. He even got more bloodpoints than the Nancy who got out which means he did more overall for the game in some way. I’d be laughing so hard after seeing such a fun build outplay me and still feel good cause even with the loss I still got major blood points out of it. Idk why he was so upset, winning isn’t just escaping for survivors to me getting others out for my death hook or just doing good overall (15,000+ blood points and at least 4 gens done) is still a win in my book. Guess some people just don’t care for the actual rewards and want that escape
"Exploits"

This seems like such a damn fun strat. Need to try this some time.
Back to offer my respects to Tiufal's grave
Daaaang I would never consider a build focused entirely around the exit gates and endgame collapse. This looks like fun though, and worth trying for sure
Remember Me, Bloodwarden, NOED and No Way Out with double self-reset traps is literally my favourite build right now.
I even had a survivor claim that it was unfair since I closed the hatch and he didn't touch the gate for 40 seconds. I didn't even have all 4 remember me stacks, he just didn't keep track of time and then called me sweaty.
These guys had 4 BNP's btw, first 2 gens were gone before I could even set up 1 trap at each gate.
Tiufal really hasn't changed lmao.
Watching Otz actually have fun playing DbD makes me happy. Dude seems genuinely excited this whole vid, good job mister trapper man :)
8:06 oh my fffffing god!!
I remember the first time I saw an otz video I didn’t like it because I came from a community that only plays for fun, I remember I saw him camping a survivor and I was like “oh no I don’t like this kind of gameplay where the killer camps or tunnels”, so I left and didn’t see any other video from him until he did there survivor challenge with JRM, and I then discovered that Otz mostly plays challenges, builds, streaks, and strategic gameplays, and teaches a lot about the game, so then I started watching his videos in another way, with another view, now I understand why sometimes he camps, he tunnels or whatever…
Today, I came back to see this video because of the Tiufal player, and just realized this was the video I didn’t like the first time and didn’t watch Otz because of it, and it’s so funny because I now understand this strategy and agree with it because of the build, it’s necessary to camp. Also in that time I was a newbie to the game so there was a lot of things I didn’t know that now I know about the game (a lot of them thanks to Otz). Funny how a point of view can change, depending on the way we saw things ❤
So, I watched this 2 years ago, but orzdarva told us to watch it again in a clip, so here I am
I'm here from the video that the weekly comp came from.
Lmao the dude said 1 thing and Otz still remembers it
Ive been doing something similar:
No way out - Remember Me - Nemesis - Rancor. Hook everyone once then follow the obsession. Rancor the obsession when the gens are finished. Then get the rest of the survivors to pallet stun you or flashlight you. Then Rancor them too!
Time to rewatch this masterpiece again :3

Here due to resurgence of Tiufal. Hiya Tiufal, it wasn't exploits.
im so glad i was on stream for the twins game, it was so fun to watch! Amazing video Otz as always! love you
This strategy is 1000x times more effective if you can close the Hatch, that way the Endgame Collapse starts and neither of the doors are open.
As Otz commanded, so I have returned. Hello Tiufal, you know not your fate, but you will. Oh, you will...

This strategy seems soo fun!! Definitely gonna have to try this out. Kudos Otz! ☺️☺️
2 years nothing has changed
Only Otz could make a build centered around standing at a gate for 2 minutes entertaining
Hex: pretty good job is the best joke itself)))
The ending where you just see the aftermath, honestly is enough pay off.
Why are you sorry, they literally did that to themselves + it's really nice to see builds other than the meta, awesome video
He's not sorry about what he did, he's sorry that they feel bad. There's a great variety of things they could feel, but that particular survivor chose to be salty. In the ball park of, "sorry you feel that way man. Good luck"
I wish the black box had come into play on Freddy’s game. Imagine the survivors do everything right but they’re all asleep so they still die because the gates are blocked to asleep survivors.
is there a way to escape that tho? cause if there isn't then maybe... that's an exploit

if there's no time to do all you have to do AND escape
@@dandantsm6560
Yeah? Wake up each other?
@@dandantsm6560 you can open the gate early... while the gate is blocked you search for your sleepy box and wake you up. then you run back to the exit gate and open ist. Problem is that you might fall asleep during the opening... so another survivor must wake up later than you and be your assist to switch... so technically if they do it right they dont even notice the red addon
The survivors must have been very happy when they saw that you opened the gate for them thinking you are friendly but little did they know…
I've never seen such a funny entertaining video as this one 🤣 lmao this is the new camping strategy 😂 God plays.
Otz of the future sent me here... Now i see that Otz never forgets that is really impressive but also scary. Nunca cambies
Most entertaining games in a long time! This build gets your heart racing with how close they cut it each time! Haha
If a Pig manages to get 1 or 2 active traps before the 5th gen pops, and does this strategy, it's borderline cruel, and MAY BE added as a war crime in the Geneva Convention
Just tried this and can confirm it is now a war crime. UN police busted down my door exactly ten minutes after victory
This fun to watch. hope you try another challenges like that.
2 years later a bro really remembers a random dude he played against. Otz is one of a kind.
It might buy other survivors more time to open the other gate so I don't think this would work as well as you think.
he want entity to kill them all
I think this would work amazingly with Pig.
@@ThisisNotSoder oh yeah, true

This might be valid with bubba due to his ability to quickly dispatch groups of survivors.
I haven't watched this yet, but I just have to say I am *giggling with joy* at the concept in general. I live for this kind of shit.

They can counter that if they use "For the people" to heal injured people. The user becomes the obsession and cancels out "Remember me". But again, who brings that perk when CoH exists?
Edit: a typo spotted 2 months later LOL
They would have to know to do that, but they wont think of it until no way out ends and they realize they don't have time without an obsession and at that point it could take too long to set an obsession up
I have actually run both. Get my teammate healed, and then I run to my own boon and heal myself once the Broken wears off.
The best counter is soul guard... get downed from noed, you are afflicted by a curse, get up, use endurance hit, get out.
I’m just happy for some twins gameplay aka the most forgotten killer
I love these unconventional builds, reminds me of placing a reverse bear trap as pig on a survivor with one gen left, let it pop, open the gates and pressure the survivor to remove the trap.
I bet the analytics for this video are funny af everyone’s here cause that guy got recognized recently
1:19 is Otz living in a time where RPD is a good map? I want to get to the point in my life where I'm excited to get RPD.
And it is so low stress. Killers kill. They don't run around protecting gens.
