- What I learned in 2023 | Thai Constellation Tissue Culture Updates
Things I learned in 2023 about tissue cultures and what not to do. I also give you a little update on how my monstera thai constellations are doing as a whole. I think moving forward I will film more updates as a way to document what has worked and what hasn't worked. Perhaps this will be helpful for you guys as well?
Let me know what you think in the comment section!

I’ve learned in 2023: Forget the flowers. Fenestrations lead to penetrations
😂😂😂
This made me giggle 😂
I have mine in semi-hydro Pon. So far so good.
Twinsies!!
Thanks for sharing your experiences. It’s very helpful to hear what worked and didn’t work. How is your monstera esqueleto doing?
It’s starting to root! And the mother plant looks very refreshed!
I agree 100% substrates seem to really be dependent upon your lifestyle lol
Whooo! Thank god someone out there also agrees 😅
Beautiful plants. So when i repot to a bigger planter, should i put the big aerial roots outside the pot or put in substrate?
I would suggest potting the aerial roots in such a way where it can grow into the substrates. When I put mine directly into the substrate it started rotting 😭
Aloha, thanks for the info
Thanks for always supporting!
I have had my tc thai cons in stratum for about 2 months since being delivered, but realized i am using plastic pots with drainage holes. Should i switch to no holes? I have 2 and one seems to be doing well, the other is a little droopy. They are still so tiny im scared of change!!🌿
Have you tried Orchids in PON or Stratum/Leca mix?
No I have not actually. Perhaps I’ll look into it when I purchase orchids for the office.
