Great video on an important topic!
One thought: To me, being more grateful always seems a very abstract concept and things don't just change by me saying in my head "I'm grateful for ...".
I rather like to take a look at my feelings while I go through the things that play a role in my life right now. So in a way I'm just looking for something in my life that makes me feel good.
I guess you could then say that's obviously what I'm thankful for then, but looking at it from another perspective somehow makes it much easier to find something that I'm actually thankful for and not just listing things that I SHOULD feel thankful for.
Tl;dr: Ask yourself what makes you happy right now rather than what you're thankful for.

I found the video and podcast really insightful and helpful-thanks for sharing! I did want to mention, though, that it feels like the content is very focused on a Western audience. I’m currently working in South Korea, where the culture around social interaction is quite different. Here, building meaningful bonds and relationships can be more challenging due to these cultural differences. Any thoughts on how to approach this in a non-Western context?

It should be noted that oxytocin is very context dependent. it doesn't always yield positive effects on people. i think at the heart of every DV situation their is oxytocin.

Hugs need consent too! I heard it was closer to 30 seconds or so before the happy hormones are released, but I like to ask my friends before I just hug them for so long 😂. Some are ok with it, others aren’t.

Hii ali great video brother... i kinda have a philosophy/ mind exploring question.. the things i will say isn't necessarily true or false but just a trip in my mind of exploring and questioning what i do believe and i want to put as a comment so i can see outside opinions... damn that's a pretty boring long intro 😂😂... the point is .... do you really believe in love? Is It a thing that is scalable? Or explainable in a way of division? Cuz i want someone to answer me what is love and how to identify it without mentioning other terms such as attention, caring , respect or desire...etc .
Personally i think it's just a big scheme of media and environment... like who made the definition of love? And if you looked at any love relationship you will find that its just in it's essence a purely transactional equations of giving and receiving ... like if you asked any random person of someone they love then asked why .... taaaadaaaa they will give you a reason mostly superficial but even deep ones that they don't know or know still reasons i would like to compare it to a catalyst in a chemical reaction without it the reaction won't complete.. you would ask what is those reasons? ...its pretty common ones like money , fame, listening, making them feel better, better social status, improving them, or maybe the need of them or the craving of the idead of i want someone special.. etc ... for me that's it in a relationship that is functioning an active reaction.... but what if it's in the stage of before happening? Suchlike talking stage or getting to know each other... if you zoomed out and looked at it in a third party point of view... you would notice it's just a game of marketing intended or not it is just marketing of the idea i will better your life or i am a good person or I'll treat you better than everyone... by doing the little things such as being nice listening to them empowering them making small things better for them... in the the generations before us this marketing game was forward to our parents and grandparents before them ... it was just which is the best option avilable to the things i want so i offer him marrige but now it is kinda like unnoticed or covered by the idead of being nice....... so what is my point? My point is that actually every love is just a conditional transaction of receiving and giving 🙃... and it does not exist ... and it should end with the stopping of the transaction or one of the sides don't notice or he sticks for stupid reasons and in harsh reality there's nothing called love and no one loves for just the deep reason of loving you forever for just being you with nothing attached and for wanting to be by your side... there's always a selfish part in it of receiving something... and am sure alot of people will say ooh but my parents love each other or love me unconditionally.. etc but noo actually there are other sides to the point like duty dignity and responsibility towards people but not just pure.... i really hope you guys read my comment and tell me your thoughts about this.... and thank you for reading this long complicated thoughts 😊
