Beautiful! My mother passed may 23rd. Her favorite thing in the world was to sit on the porch and watch the hummingbirds! I'd like to think she's free of her painful body, and out there flying around having so much fun with the hummingbirds now. She is very loved and will be missed very much also!
Sorry for your loss…your Mother is very well and God has shown her many marvelous things. She is happy and enjoys being with her ancestors from hundreds of years ago. Do not worry, your Mother is in a wonderful place, my Mother is there also. Live your life to the fullest as we will see them again!!

Erin, my son died age 31 in 2018. The night before he passed he told me don’t forget mom to buy hummingbird feeders! He was going back to his apartment in Philadelphia my husband was taking him. I still have his sweaty kiss on my cheek as he had just been planting till late at night he loves the outdoors he loved nature and he was very in tune with hummingbirds which I didn’t really know that he had been. But he always saw me feeding our little birds in a nest and since a young age I brought him into nature, The pain of his life is so great I will never be the same. But I have hummingbird feeders and that would be hold in April after he had passed about a week after the hummingbirds came I stayed outside here in Southeastern Pennsylvania outside of Philadelphia and by the time the summers and I had the hummingbirds eating out of my hand in a bowl. I have so many videos and I have so many little things that remind me of him that are hummingbird related. I’m sorry for your loss. We only get one mother in life and it’s so hard when they are gone and we love them so much. My mother died in 2014 she was the one that led us onto the nature journey and I took it from there and my son took it even further loving plants and nature. My Dad loved hummingbirds. He passed in 2000. When my husband & I started build our log cabin ourselves, a single hummingbirds would come everyday, fly around the house as if it was checking our progress, then come to each of us in turn & fly away. This went on as long as we were working on the house. I always said, it was Dad coming by to see us. He also loved woodwork. Due to circumstances, we had to stop building for a few years. Our little hummingbird friend quit coming by. Then when we started working on the house again, the 3rd day we had a visitor. I'd like to think , it was Dad coming back, as if to say, it's about time yall finished the house. Unfortunately, I lost my husband to cancer last year and no we never got the house finished. 😞

I helped a hummingbird once..he flew into our picture window and was dazed & laying in the sidewalk so I made him a little nest of fur balls in a tissue box and set him up in a hanging flower planter for safety as our neighbors cats are always around... He fought as he didn't want to be picked up but later he was gone from the hanger and I was so greatful that he was ok!🐦💚🐦
I held a hummingbird once for about 5 min. It got into my screen porch. I had to get a broom to subdue it and it passed out. I held it outside stroking its head until it took off like a light. I felt honored to have held it.
OMG!!!! How wonderful to see that!!! I was blessed by my mom's favorite bird building a nest right below my office window in of all places, one of my climbing rose bushes. My mom had died several years prior, and as I think about it now...that might have been my mom reincarnated. It was a female Cardinal and she laid 4 eggs and I got to see the whole family! When the babies were big enough to learn to fly I set up chicken wire around the area to keep them safe as possible. And eventually everyone went on their merry way. And BTW, we always had feeders up the hummingbirds...
After my son died 19 years ago my husband and I became constant bird watchers. He had written a poem about the birds and said if we would watch the birds we would see Gods grace and glory. The hummers and cardinals are the best. I have 5 HB feeders and still sit on porch eating breakfast and watching them. I don't have many but what I see are amazing. I know your mom is now seeing them abuntly. Thanks for the video Velma in Florida
A very dear friend of mine was a Hummingbird rehabber for a longvwhile here in So California. Her care, her set, and of course, her hummers were just amazing! 💖💖💖💖💖
Loving this Hummingbirds, a week ago during daytime one flew into my window. I took him in my hands, walked him around 10min in the garden, gave him some drops water and after he was fit again to fly to the next palm. They come here into my garden every day, loving birds and having always water for them for drinking and taking a bath. You can set a watch at which time which birds are coming. They never use the same waterspot together, always waiting polite until the other species is gone before they take a bath...humans can learn a lot from birds 😘😎♥
I'm in awe looking at these feeders with so many hummingbirds harmoniously sitting side by side, around the feeders. I've got 2 feeders, one that feeds 4 hammers and one that feeds just one. I have rarely seen them sharing; they are incredibly territorial. There's usually one who "owns" the feeder and scares all others away.
These birds have given all of that up years ago. Fights have been won and lost over generations. They still fight, but at "swarm time" they know there is enough for everyone and they just fill up for the night.
We had swallows built a nest in our utility one year and had 3 chicks and mum and dad swallow looked after them so well, feeding them constantly... Never leaving them during their time... And eventually they fledged, all 3...it was really beautiful. Greetings from Ireland 🍀🇮🇪
So heartwarming! My sister passed away suddenly last August and her special favorite animal was the hummingbird. She had one land on her hand one time. She just sat there stunned by it's beauty and grace. She felt honored. Thank you! I will be following these hatchlings!
Thank you mother Allen , you’re a blessing to everyone , how I wish more people were like you , i wish we had hummingbirds in Australia I think they’re wonderful, 💜
I know it was a worrisome time when Emerald left, but I'm so thankful they're doing well right now. I missed Hatch #1 by minutes, and Hatch #2 by about an hour, but I know everyone who saw it happening live was thrilled! What a beautiful story thus far. Very grateful that this moment has been shared.
Where I live I have all kinds of b i r d s especially hummingbirds that come and feed my flowers that I have a couple of years ago I had the pleasure of looking up and seeing an adult hummingbird flying into my bushes and she had a baby with her a teeny tiny baby flying getting nectar out of my flowers oh my Lord what a beautiful sight I could not believe that I have the opportunity for several moments to watch this beautiful tiny baby in its mother as they were feeding I mean that little baby was barely I mean just give me tiny as hummingbirds are extremely small anyway I feel very blessed that I got to witness this I love to watch my birds especially the hummingbirds that's why I feed them constantly thank you for sharing your adventures.
This is the first year I've had hummingbirds. I first noticed them around my flower bed so, of course, I got a couple feeders. They're right out on deck so I can see them all the time. My husband was sitting out there. He had a hat with a leaf on it. One of them actually tried to peck it. He was very excited that it came so close! Hopefully more will come now that the feeders are here for them.
I'm pretty sure that this video just made ALL of my humminbird dreams come completely true! So so so miraculous and I thank you so much for capturing this magnificent happening for us to watch! 😘👍
I was a city kid I heard about humming birds but never gave a thought that such a bird was real It wasn’t till I was showing my daughter a beautiful flower I got to see my first hummingbird and I was truly amazed w it’s true beauty
I breed Quaker parrots and just love watching the parents care for them from laying the eggs to feeding. Just so you know, the last 24-48 hours before hatching the parents stop turning the eggs. That’s why mom was able to have a night out before committing to feeding hungry babies for the next 6-8 weeks. 🥰😍
My boyfriend & I are very into our birds & we recently decided it's best to go get a few hummingbird feeders installed. So we're newer to the Hummingbird thing however, I am very grateful there are channels, like yours, dedicated to this subject because I absolutely AD♡RE the few Hummingbirds we've acquired here so far in Pennsylvania. So truly, THANK YOU for caring enough to educate others on this! Keep up the phenomenal work! ♡
That’s amazing! I have had a hummingbird make a nest in our fern tree for the past three winters. We have had two sets of nests the year before where we only had one baby. This year she started 4 nests but the weather kept getting too bad (windy) for her to continue and she abandoned each one until this last nest. She just laid her eggs this year on Monday and the second one on Tuesday. I can’t wait to watch them grow!

@@jimcowan8770 That's so neat! Thanks for sharing. I did have a couple of them fly close to me and look at me. The bench I sit in is only about 4feet from one of my feeders. I noticed that they each pick a certain feeder they like. On a couple of days when I first put my 3 feeders out, it was like a war zone. They were dive bombing each other and squeeking up a storm. It was so awesome to watch them.
@@dewick134 Haha! Yes,. I think they’re fascinating to watch! Last year I had one hummer who would peck on the perch when the feeder was empty! Haha! I seriously think he was trying to tell me to fill his feeder! Haha! They’re Fun to watch! Have a Great Day birdwatching!

I love this. I live in Southeastern Mo. Where our hummers start showing up in April and then leave around the end of Aug. I look forward to their migration. I get tens of babies at the feeders trying out their wings and territory skills but I've never seen a freshly hatched one. I love this.

Nest building and the nests themselves are so amazing. These tiny Birds get all sorts of little bits of tree and plant matter, spider webs to hold it together!, and whatever they find and build a very sturdy home for two eggs and then two little hatchlings. Nests are a wonder of love and care, and True skill on the part of the bird who weaves all these objects together to create a very secure home, one that will not fall apart in the rain and one that stands up to wind. Beautiful.
Thank you all for sharing these videos. My mom always put out sugar water for her hummingbirds, and I've always been curious about their nests and babies. So cool to see it live.
I loved this video. We had the pleasure of getting to see a hummingbird build her nest and raise 2 little babies. We had not taken down our Christmas lights even into March so we had noticed this little bird going back and forth on the porch and then found way up the tiny nest that looked like a walnut and finally way her. It was so fun to watch out our porch window as things progressed. It was great that you had the cameras to position them to watch. It is amazing how fast they grow and are able to fly away only in a couple of weeks. We could see their little beaks sticking up and her feeding them and then more and more of the bird showed up and finally they were so big and they were perching on the edge of the nest. She was still feeding them. We didn't see one of them fly off but we saw the 2nd one and he flew down a little bit to a wire just below and then just sat there like what do I do now. He wobbled back and forth a bit and then started testing his wings out and back in the nest he went. The next day he got a little braver and flew a little farther away and practiced again and then up on the roof he flew and sat and off he went. We so enjoy them and have feeders out all the time and watch them. Got is good on creating these little things to watch.
I had 2 crash land on my porch. I was surprised they let me pickvthem up. I checked them out and they sat in my hand for almost an hour before flying into my dogwood. It was so neat to be that close. It was about a month apart of their accidents.
And I love how she muted the nearby bulbs by wrapping them in electrical tape. Bet the hummers like them a lot better that way too; rather than shining into their eyes every hour of the night. Muted, they still give warmth.
I have Anna's hummingbirds all year. Last winter was tough due to below freezing weather. I was switching out the frozen feeders starting at 5 in the morning and continued all day keeping the little guys fed. I am looking into a heated feeder for the winter. Thanks for caring and sharing your video. Just got a visit from my guys while watching your video.

Thanks for this experience! I had a nest in a pine and was able to take stills of the babies quickly when mom was gone. From below, when they were looking out the nest, they looked like a pair of synchronized windshield wipers going back and forth.
I am in awe of "Mother Nature"; thank you for sharing this beautiful event! I live in Benicia where I feed and have trees/plants (i.e., Lily of the Nile, pineapple sage, honeysuckle vines, and others) to help feed the hummingbirds and other birds. The hummingbirds fly close to me and chirp; I talk too. They love having water sprays from me or I will put on the sprinkler in the warm summer months.
I’m in Vallejo and have 3 hummingbird feeders that I can see from my living room. Sometimes I sit under the pergola where the feeders are and watch them visit. I will try to get some of the plants you listed so the hummingbird birds will be even happier. I often see them on one of 3 trees. They are incredible! They seem to be coming all winter long. I make sure to clean feeders and change the fluid every 3-5 days, depending on weather. I always wonder where they go at night and in the rain.
I love Hummingbirds so much! Last Summer I hung a feeder on my porch and tons of Hummingbirds came and drank the nectar! I’m waiting for their return! 🤗
Love hummingbirds and birds of all kinds! I held a feeder from my hand a few times and the hummingbirds came to feed off of it. They are so loud when you don't have glass between you!!! It is so amazing that my hummingbirds come back each year to the same exact window and hover if the feeder isn't there when they arrive. Their God given GPS is perfect, unlike man's GPS which is off and has to be adjusted!

Loved this video. It is so cool watching these tiny little come into the world. One of God's many wonders!
This is AMAZING!!!!! Omg❤️ Circle of life 😍... And the mom just knows why to do... omg Nothing like a mother’s love 💕
You're so lucky!!! It's a privilege to have one of these beautiful creatures nesting so close to your home. ❤
Hummingbirds make my summer. Thank you Jesus.
How Beautiful.!
So clever how she built the nest right on top of a christmas light. It's a built-in incubator for her!!
very resourceful
Smart little mom!
And yet humans can't take care of their kids!

Awesome
Most AMAZING critters in this world. We should appreciate them MORE.
I love hummingbirds more than any other bird. Thank you for doing this.
Thanks for the video

A very dear friend of mine was a Hummingbird rehabber for a longvwhile here in So California. Her care, her set, and of course, her hummers were just amazing! 💖💖💖💖💖

A MOTHER'S LOVE HAS NO BOUNDARIES...
I loooove your spot there carol it must be wonderful living there your so lucky keep up the good work !!
What a relief when she came back. What if something had happened to her? It will be so much fun watching their progress.
Why am I here? Who cares! This was so precious. It made me smile and tear up a little. What more can I ask for? Thank you, and God bless.
That was so beautiful thank you Lady B
😍🤩💝
I'm in awe looking at these feeders with so many hummingbirds harmoniously sitting side by side, around the feeders. I've got 2 feeders, one that feeds 4 hammers and one that feeds just one. I have rarely seen them sharing; they are incredibly
territorial. There's usually one who "owns" the feeder and scares all others away.
These birds have given all of that up years ago. Fights have been won and lost over generations. They still fight, but at "swarm time" they know there is enough for everyone and they just fill up for the night.

My hummingbirds never share the feeder and are extremely territorial.
Sic how they'll headbutt a smaller hummingbird @ their max flying speed....
My condolences, and I thank you for sharing a bit of your sister’s grace with us 🌴
What an amazing video!
Thank you for posting it for the world to see just how awesome these little creatures hatch & care for their young... 😍
Humming birds are so beautiful and the Humming sound their wings make 😍. She built a beautiful nest in the best place.
So sweet to hear a hummingbirds birthday happening on my own! Awesome! We don’t think about God’s creatures sharing our own special days!💕
This video is just so cute and pure .. belated mother's day all
How precious. I love hummingbirds. I have a pair that visit me every day.
I love my hummingbirds. Every May they come back up to CT and buzz my window until I put the feeder out. They definitely remember me.
They will find you every year!
Oh I love hummingbirds, they give me such joy watching them sip the sugar nectar I put for them outside my window. This nest is adorable.
Thank you for a close up look of the Allen's female. I saw a new female at my feeder today & now I believe it is a Allen.
It's so exciting, isn't it?
I love that! We have had a dove lay her eggs in my grape vine every year for the past 4 years! I would love If a humingbird would do this!
To help nature thrive ; a beautiful giftn
I was more stunned at how *tiny* their little nests are! Like the size of a quarter! And those itty bitty eggs... they’re like tic tac’s 😍
Beautiful! What a treat to be able to watch.Thank you ❤️🙏🏼🕊✝️Thank you Jesus!!
We had a Ruby throated hen hatch out two baby's on a old broken wind chime.. right outside our bathroom window.
This is fantastic! No Hummers in Hawaii, such a bummer! My Mom is a Hummingbird lover, I’m sure this will brighten her day! Thank You!
Omg this is amazing..thank you for sharing this..videos such as this allows everybody to see nature in its glory..something we would never be able to do if you hadn’t posted this...thank you so much!!!!!!
Love the humming birds. I worries about them when I don't see them.
Fully I'm 💯% Agreement w you ‼️👀👍‼️
Without this considerate lady's posting of this, there's not a very good chance we would've had this chance! I thanked her as well🥰! PS just saw hummingbirds ✨ for the very first time last week+ mind you I'm in 50s, have lived on land so full of wildlife it looked like a sanctuary sometimes🤗and also rt near nay , etc etc but still never encountered em. Maybe elusive?! Loved yr 😃👍comment ☮️🌜🌟✨🌛
Aww I love hummingbirds! Right now they come around our home and drink the nectar from one of our plants
How amazing is God to have created such beauty for US to enjoy.. So glad you captured that on camera.. Very Precious.... 💖
I love hummingbirds! Stunning birds ! GOD IS GREAT!Amen!🕊
My Mom planted a garden in the front of our house. The Windows were down stairs in the TV room.
She plated lots of red Salvia. The Hummingbirds were all over it. When we knelt on the couch backwards we could watch all the Hummingbirds and they never saw us.
Long story
Great Loving Mom
Miss You Mom 🙏🏼
And...her Mom was a Great Bird Lover
Especially Jason
Sorry so long, I guess I
needed to let it fly
Let it fly! I miss my mom also.
OMG they have short beaks as infants.. of course.. makes sense now.. but I never realized until this. Way cool video!
This is a really well put together video and channel, it interests me too because I am beginning to train the humming birds at my house to not be scared of me. I sit inches away from them and they love me now.
How do you get them to get used to you? The hummingbirds in my front yard are clearly upset when I sit outside to watch them.
@@dewick134 Yeah,. I can’t Train wild birds,. Frankly I don’t think anyone can! But I do sit outside & they fly right up to me! I think you just have to sit outside,. Be perfectly still & quiet! They will get use to you! Mine fly all around me when we’re feeding them! Fly right over my head! Haha! I’ve had them fly up to the kitchen window & look in,. Like they’re spying on me inside! Haha! It’s pretty funny!
@@jimcowan8770 I believe you are right. So funny. I think they are leaving my area. I did not see even one today. I am upstate NY so I guess it's time. I will miss them.
Beautiful! Enjoy your videos so much. Thanks!!!!!!
I’m so happy I found you! Hummingbirds are my grandmothers favorite little bird. Sadly, she passed away in January. Now she flies with hummingbirds!
I love this. I live in Southeastern Mo. Where our hummers start showing up in April and then leave around the end of Aug. I look forward to their migration. I get tens of babies at the feeders trying out their wings and territory skills but I've never seen a freshly hatched one. I love this.
She is so cute and a lovable bundle of fluff. She looks so comfy and sweet in her nest. I just want to pet and gently cuddle her. Ahhhh. Thanks for all you do for showing us these sweeties and caring for our lovable Hummingbird family.🐤🐥🐦🐧🥰😊☺️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. ❤️ from 🇦🇺 Australia.
The circle of life!!
CONGRATULATIONS hummingbird mom!
Beautiful.
Best humming bird video ever. Thank you.
Thank you all for sharing these videos. My mom always put out sugar water for her hummingbirds, and I've always been curious about their nests and babies. So cool to see it live.
From Great Britain this is something we don't have. Absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much .
They always make me tear up. I know how hard they have to work just to survive. They are the most beautiful birds to be able to admire up close.
Beautiful nest of a beautiful bird in a Christmas light wire.
How wonderful I live in the uk ,we don’t have hummingbird here ,thank you that’s so special ,beautiful lv Ann
I wonder why not. Is it the climate they can't handle?

I had a hummingbird build her nest on a wind chime out my front door and it was thrilling to watch her sit in it. I loved the whole experience!
That hummingbird nest being on Christmas lights really puts in to perspective how tiny the nest is!
I was thinking the same. Those lights are no bigger than a finger tip imo. What a precious sight to see, praise YAHUAH!
Yes indeed it sure does that. Amazing how tiny they are.
And I love how she muted the nearby bulbs by wrapping them in electrical tape. Bet the hummers like them a lot better that way too; rather than shining into their eyes every hour of the night. Muted, they still give warmth.
Right! and also the intelligence! parking her nest on a heat source! amazing 🤩
Great job Carole and HBS, what an amazing thing to be able to see and then watch.
Burly Harley guy here. Love my hummingbirds!
Thanks for sharing! You reminded me of my Mom. She was an avid hummingbird watcher and feeder in Tennessee. She always watched and gave me updates. She "graduated" 5 years ago and every humming bird I see reminds me of her excitement!!!
My mom loved these she passed 11 years ago from overdose not the way I expected to lose her and not ever say goodbye miss her lots when I see these I fill her it makes my days 🥰miss u mom love you
Thanks for this experience! I had a nest in a pine and was able to take stills of the babies quickly when mom was gone. From below, when they were looking out the nest, they looked like a pair of synchronized windshield wipers going back and forth.
Lol, great description… thanks for the visual ! ✌️❤️🌴
I love Hummingbird it makes me think God's creation is so perfect.🌍
I love Hummingbirds so much! Last Summer I hung a feeder on my porch and tons of Hummingbirds came and drank the nectar! I’m waiting for their return! 🤗
Such old souls. Sweet and gentle. thank you.
Crows, Owls, & Hummers are my three favorite birds. Wonderful video.
