Passport to adventure - Zion National Park in Utah

In this Passport to Adventure, Jack and I venture to Utah to capture family with Adam Wolverton, balloons/tunes, nature and a history of photography.
Starting in Oneida New York Jonathon Dunham Jr. makes his way to Zion Camp Missouri as an Engineer to help 60 wagons and 400 Individuals to Utah. He collects good from wealthy owners and fills wagons with dry and canned goods to help the wagon-journeying families make it to their destination. New York and Woodbridge, New Jersey where my family of artists began.

Watkins, born in 1829, grew up alongside his childhood friend Collis Huntington, both drawn to the allure of gold in San Francisco. While gold eluded them, Watkins' lens captured the majesty of Yosemite, shaping his destiny as a celebrated photographer.
Amidst this photographic tapestry, Dody Weston Thompson, a 20th-century chronicler, added her strokes, preserving the craft's history. Irving Penn, the portrait maestro for Vogue, and John Thomson, an explorer through the lens in the Far East, joined this luminous collective.
Walter A. Scott's silver nitrate negatives transported viewers to the 1870s, revealing the beauty of a bygone era. Captain Allan Scott, a British photographer born in 1824, stood as a luminary in portrait photography, leaving an indelible mark on the Photographic Society of London.
At the heart of this artistic alchemy, the invention of the photographic collodion process by Frederick Scott Archer in 1857 illuminated new possibilities. The Photographic Society and the Photographic Society of London became crucibles for innovation, fostering the creativity that echoed through time.
United by their passion for light and chemistry, these luminaries wove a narrative where every image was a testament to the marriage of science and art, capturing moments that transcended the confines of time.
