- It was a great day fishing for Redfin perch in the south west of Western Australia. We only fished for a few hours as we picked up some trout for my dam and Declan’s aquaponics setup.

The gear I was using below ⬇️
• Rod was the backwater revelation, perfect for the smaller streams and rivers
razoredgelures...
• Shimano vanford 500 sized reel with 6lb siglon braid and 8lb leader
• soft plastic was the bullant coloured grubson for most of it and Declan used the 75mm bullant coloured Bruce both on snagless hooks

A cracking Reddie session mate 🤙🏽
Cheers! We couldn’t have asked for a better day with the results we got
Great footage, as always.
Those redfin numbers in that river are incredible . You wouldn't put a dent in the numbers 👌
Cheers Peter! Yeah it’s insane. Declan reckons one school had about 50 to 100 fish and then other spots were not as many but still left some fish there as they shut down. They’d just move up and down the waterway filling all the liveable areas
What a cracking session of solid fish!
Cheers, it was one of those sessions that you couldn’t do anything wrong
Would love to see more dam content as the dam rises 😍
Yeah we got some good rain in the last couple of days so with any luck it may fill up if we keep getting some rain
Awesome vids boys
Up the reds
Cheers, it was a great session
Great vid dude, love our southwest
Cheers, yeah we are pretty lucky for the most part with the fishing and scenery in the south west
Awesome Reddie session mate 👌🐟 I'm gathering its down South 😃
Cheers mate! And yeah sure is
Which river is this mate?
Its one of the main ones down south
first off is this WA? and second off ya gotta try topwater on them
Yeah, south west of WA and it’d be cool for sure. I’m always in the hope of a pb with the soft plastic but I definitely should try something else
@@blairhuttonfishing I get them on top in vic and its stacks of fun and the systems i get them have way less numbers than that system
