It's ME! 🙋🏼♀️ The one this video could definitely have been made for. 😅
I just want to say that I have found tip #1 to be SO TRUE. I've been working online since 2016, and whenever I find myself in those patches where everything feels purposeless and I feel "off" - that CONNECTION is what gets me out of the pits!
When I try to instill routine right away, that becomes just another thing for me to stress about when I don't meet my own routine goals.
So, I really resonated with you making step 1 to connect because I've definitely seen this work in my life and business. 💓 I thought that because I'm an introvert that face to face connection wouldn't be such a necessity, but in reality it's where I get so much of my spark and inspiration!
All of these tips are so good. Thanks for this, Therese. ✨️
Oh and also.... I'm definitely giving the "jedi mind trick" a try. 😅 Made me giggle so much.
Ahh Monique so glad you’re agree on the importance of connection! And I agree with you, routines can definitely be another thing that causes stress. Introverts need connection too! It’s just that it’s usually smaller groups and deeper conversations vs bigger groups and more surface-level conversation. Hoping you’re getting just the right mix of connection for you Monique 🙏🏼 thanks so much for your comment!
Lol super science-y psychology tip 🤣
Honestly, getting up, making the bed, taking a shower, doing skincare and having breakfast has done wonders for my mental health while working ffrom home. This is basically my way of truly waking up. And having a separate area for work and rest does wonders as well
Thanks for the great tips! I enjoy working from home and having flexibility. I do struggle with loneliness but I have been able to overcome it by working from different places (coffee shops, with a friend, etc) and also going to gym. I know the gym isn't for everyone but try going for a run or even doing stretches in the morning. Staying active really helps me release stress and anxiety. I also have a journal, I try my best to start my day by being grateful and appreciative.
So important to recognise its not all beach bars and cocktails! It can be so hard to find routine, I have learnt that I need that for my mental health. Another excellent video! You are a treasure.
Yes I think often we have this fantasies about what WFH is and we need to make them more realistic and achievable! I also need routine too and I’m always trying to work on it. 💛
I agree that staying connected is important and going outside for a few minutes as well , if you live alone adopt a pet
Pets are amazing for our mental health!
Therese, you are the absolute queen! So glad you're speaking to this, this is so needed! Also loving your natural curly vibe :)
Thank you my fellow curly haired queen!
I love your contagious laugh at the beginning! Such great tips! Staying connected is so important and regular breaks! Thank you
Hahaha I have to laugh at myself! And staying connected is LIFE. Thanks for your comment!
Staying connected and finding and sticking to routine that works for you are two very helpful tips. I hope to do a virtual coffee hangout/break during work time and make sure I’m standing in order to rest from sitting.
Yess great plans for your health and well-being!
I love how REAL you are in your videos! This one was great.
Kimberly, you have no idea how thrilled I am to hear you feel that way! Thank you for the kind words 💛
I've been working remotely for three years! These tips were on point - the most helpful ones for me are taking care of my body and connection. If I focus too much on my schedule, I feel overwhelmed - but working on my bedtime routine and getting up early has been game-changing. Thank you!!
Love step 1!!
It’s honestly my favorite tip!
I saw this video while standing... I already sit for several hours a day. Thanks for the reminder 💜 also, Jedi mindset trick 😅 👌
This is what I want moving forward ❤ thank you
Thanks for this comprehensive video. It's still so relevant and helpful today.
Yes T loving it!! xx

I get paid to sleep all day ....
Thats no way to live, have some purpose
Im in the recipe for disaster 😢
Great content, but you don’t need the Supreme Court decisions bit, please leave politics out of it. Just mention politics generally and everyone will know to park it aside!
