Today is a recipe day! Which is awesome, but super extra jazz hands awesome because we're making shower steamers! they're kind of a big deal.

Soap & Clay is a family owned business operating in Washington State, but started out online thanks to Mrs. Soap & Clay's kickass brother and his amazing web design skills. The business was started as a tribute to Mrs. Soap & Clay's grandmother, the OG maker in the family that cultivated everyone's love for the DIY life. The studio/retail shop opened in 2017 on 6th Ave in Tacoma, and immediately began teaching soap, bath bomb, lotion, and scrub classes to the makers and maker enthusiasts of the PNW. In 2019, the pottery studio opened as well, making the soap shop a busy place full of artistic energy every minute of the day.
Mrs. Soap & Clay has been featured on Business Spotlight, New Day Northwest, and was awarded a coveted place on the South Sound's 40 under 40 list in 2019, an award given to the most influential business people under the age of 40 each year. She cried when she walked up to the podium to accept the award. A lot.
Drawing from her chemistry background and her maker spirit, Mrs. Soap & Clay infuses her favorite things into her soapy designs and creates products that are fun to see, use, and learn to make. Stick around for this ride - she'll take you on a great one.

This had hands down the best execution on the cutest shower steamers, ever!!! Thank you! ❤❤❤

I have PTSD from icy hot. I used the balm version once. I put it on my lower back for my arthritis pain. Well, my body heat kept it just warm enough to slowly drip down my butt crack. 10/10 do not recommend 🙃

Just last week I was searching for a good recipe and honestly went to your channel first but was stunned to not see any...I could've sworn you had one, but no dice. So I'm happy to say the one I came up with is pretty similar, though I think I went a little light on menthol. I also used my own "thieves blend" that I've been distilling for several months and it's awesome!

I don't remember how long it's been...time means nothing anymore. (P.S. I found menthol crystals at a Canadian supplier in B.C. called Suds n' Scents. I don't know if they were a good price because I couldn't find them elsewhere to compare to. But if you're ordering from the States the Canadian dollar sucks so much that they might be a really good price like 25-30% less.)

I've never made shower steamers, I make 12 dozen other products. However, you bringing this up reminded me how awful my breathing has been this fall from allergies I'm snuffling and drain all night! To much pollen in Tennesse! It happens every fall and spring.
I always assumed that you just chucked the whole thing in the bottom of the shower and had at! Evidently not! Ok, so put it in a dish and give a sprinkle, put it on the shelf and enjoy. My dumb ass would have thrown the whole thing under the shower stream and set fire to my feet! That'd be awful! So are these on your website now? I think I'd rather buy yours and see if I like them before investing in menthol and eucalyptus, because I carry neither here in my multitude of stuff! I've never needed it because they aren't the things you put in eye gels, face cream, lotion, etc. Yeah, I make tons of soap and bathbombs, but have a eucalyptus fragrance blend for soap, not eo. The strongest eo I have is peppermint. This is a far cry from that.
So I'll buy some from you first to see if it might help my chronic breathing issues, that my daily allergy pill does nada for! Why do I keep picking up a damn pill that doesn't help?. Ok it works a bit, but still take benadryl.! The veterinarian (Dr.) I see says it'd be much worse if I didn't take it! Ok, ok, enough!!!
Provided I like yours, at least I'll know if it helps, then I can buy some menthol and eucalyptus! Thank you for the recipe!

So the last time I did bathbombs, with my partner, we were stoned. We also did shower steamers. My steamers were nice! A bit too much menthol. It burned my eyes.
The menthol we added to our bath bombs at the time was nice though! Much less menthol. We wouldn't HAVE had menthol'd bath bombs if we'd been sober but he convinced me to try... it worked out. I was clear enough to limit it to safe amounts.
I noted you just added the crushed menthol to the dry ingredients. I've melted mine into the EOs and carrier oils. They'll melt pretty easily. Have you done that? Is there a discernible difference in performance? Also what does the Epsom salt do for a steamer? Or did I miss that in the video? >_< Sorry if I did...
