Tripping up! This is the separate self residual in the body. Awkward intervals! Conflicts in relationships! Deeply buried! Playing our scales restores, to some degree, the pureness of Awareness. Getting to root of anxieties, tremendously powerful, the separate self exposed. Body felt in new way, and glad to be relieved of the tyranny of the ego. These teachings are restorative of the Happiness we are all seeking...Thank you, Rupert..

Great parallel between musical scales and reactive patterns in relationship. It somehow makes the work feel lighter. Just practicing my scales :)

so true, i am experiencing excactly what he is explaining! Experiencing the yogameditation has brought up so deep and well covered believes and feelings, to finally become complete conscious. The body sometimes feels realy "worked" after yoga meditation as an reaction to it. I am so glad that life has provided me with this channel of Rupert Spira. The right thing, at the right time :-)

WoW...Wow wow...This video really reinforces a coming home / realization in letting go of the imaginary inside self that lives in an illusory body made of matter and mind...the wonderful analogy used in playing a flute illustrates the rewiring and effortless manner that the old belief system is dissolved into the pure light of Awareness...Thanks for posting !!!

Rub your hands together. Just bring them together and allow them to graze along each other. Allow them to move as they do. Allow them to dance as they do, in any way they do. Do not dictate their movements or move them how you believe you should. Allow movement to flow through them, allow them to follow the symphony of the universe. Continue allowing this dance, while resting your being back into yourself, in awareness.
Notice that this dance can happen on it’s own. It hasn’t stopped while you’ve rested in this state of being. It has continued on its own. It will continue on it’s own. The movement of your hands, indeed the movement of the bodymindworld in sensation, thought and perception needs no doer, they are moving as they move, when they move, how they move. They need no attention or input from yourself. Your being may rest in your being, be as your being, rest in awareness, be as awareness, be the space in which and of which all objects appear and are made. Abide in that stillness; the dance dances itself.
This dance has no negatives, no positives. Every movement, leap, reaching, touching, twirl, expansive, contraction is as it should be. The music is never out of tune. It cannot ever be off pitch. Everything that happens happens as it happens, and that happening is perfect as it is. There is nothing wrong with it at all, no music to perfect, no movement to redirect. The dance is God appearing. The dance is awareness appearing. Allow the bodymindworld to dance in this way, to play upon each other and between each other. Let God’s song move the universe as it does. Allow your attention to rest in it’s source. Be - allow your Being to rest in God’s Being.
Knowingly be that one. Consciously know your place of rest in the presence of God. That is all. Bask in the glow of God's music, God's song, God's dance. Know you are a peephole from which the Beloved sees and which the Beloved is still in you, and you in Him.

After I watched this video I am left with the idea that if I was fully in my true state would I watch my body go on and do stuff without me telling it anything, I would just watch this thing go and do its own stuff without me telling it to do anything.

My guess is it could be like when you are driving.......your mind could be engaged in a variety of thoughts, you could be having a most interesting conversation with your companion, but your instincts would be fully aware of the road and its conditions and before your mind knows it, you would reach your destination.

From what I have heard, first half of video, is that one does not continue to stay in state of practice (whatever particular practice it is, i.e., meditation,and/or other processes). I guess that after practice and whatever arises therein, one just releases that and goes to Being. Slippery critters, aren't we? You know, I am finding that there is no concrete self (as I see it and referring to myself) as I am aware that there is obvious constant change of that ... I perceive this body/mind differently. It no longer feels like a constant character, but one that is like an actor continually changing roles ... or continually putting on different garb (metaphorically speaking). There are attributes that seem fixed, but not as much as they had been in the past ... the body/mind feels more fluid. In fact, as crazy as this may sound, I realize that we have a body and all that means ... blood, bones, organs, etc.; and after had many surgeries I know that experientially, however, on another level, I see the morphing and it is as if all that I see is rather done with smoke and mirrors. Now you see it and now you don't. What I am attempting to express is tough. We are more than the sum of our parts and are parts are ephemeral.

Well said. It really can't be explained very effectively to someone who hasn't had at least some experience with it (my opinion).

Yes, it is really possible to have a mind and body from which all the created sins and mortality can be swept aside by good and sent to real/true "I". It is a condition which can be given to the body and mind to free them from all fears and anxieties which subsides down in the ocean of awareness or consciousness and gives immortality and infinity to the mind and body.

Can someone help me out? He says, ”If we do these contemplations on a daily basis, the body is literally re-wired.” Are the contemplations he’s referring to the same as the videos on this channel whose titles begin with the word “meditation”? Or, is he referring to contemplations not on this channel maybe reserved only for retreat space?

      Thank you for your comment.
Rupert is referring to the Yoga meditations.
You can find these on the website.
Rupert also explores this in more detail during the online events.
You can email me through the contact page of the website if you have any further questions.
      Warmly,

In this video at around 3:13 he says „the desires and fears of the ego are no longer ruling that body“ yet in another video I saw , he verbally scolds a lady for asking about the ego, where he tells her „ please don’t ask me questions about the ego … there is no such thing as an ego“ WTF!! Which is it Rupert???!!! Is there an ego or isn’t there? Please be consistent. Such contradictions make you less believable. Disappointing .
